Morning. Well done on the 2 celebrations (especially if they were the maltesers ones lol). Have you had the malteaster bunnies they do?! I can't we enough of them and they have brought out a version for Xmas called merryteaster lol. Think they are about 7 syns.

I got to sleep at about half 9 and bf woke me up when he came to bed at 1am as I had all of the pillows under me and was in the middle of the bed with all the covers all wrapped round me lol. I went straight back to sleep though so I do feel a bit better today. Going to try and get another early one tonight and then I think I'll be back to normal.

Bf was saying yesterday he might try and do SW with me as he is not shifting the weight he puts on. Usually he puts on over summer but as soon as he starts playing football again in autumn it comes off - not this year!! Think it's prob his age as it gets harder the older you are I suppose. Not sure how he will manage on it but worth him trying. His problem is bread and crisps - I may have to start keeping my crisps at work lol.

i had a malteser and a bounty chocolate last night and i LOVE the malteser bunnies. i bought a load of the wee mini ones at easter and have rationed them..they are 3 syns each and i have 1 bag left - saw the reindeer ones so hoping they might do a mini bag of those too?
think the bunnies are 8.5 for one but not checked the xmas edition?

i haven't tried the bar of teaser but i assume it's the same idea as the celebrations chocolates?

how's your day been today? that'll be good if your OH does it properly too - will you be able to plan meals and lunches easier for you both rather than just yourself?

i had a freezer portion of mac and cheese at lunch time and took quorn chilli out for dinner so i'm sorted meal wise today....dunno what the boys will get right enough lol x
 
Ooohhh are they bunnies 8.5?! I thought they were about 7 but Easter was so long ago now I can't remember. I will def be having some over Xmas so will need to double check before I do lol. Bf said he nearly bought me one the other day but wasn't sure if I was allowed lol.

I have had the malteser bar and it is just like the celebration ones. It's pretty much a cross between those and a bunnie lol. Very nice but I still prefer the bunnies. God I used to eat boxes and boxes of maltesers!

I'm changing today into a green day and using my hexb as chicken and my hex a as cheese to make a yummy pasta bake. I was going to do it without cheese but this sounds much yummiest to me lol. Syns count so far is 4.5 for crisps and 2 for salad cream.

My salad at lunchtime was so lovely. Really nice for a change from the norm and I really loved having the feta and beetroot mmmm.

No idea what to do for lunch tomorrow as I am out for dinner in the evening. Probably to wagamama's so I have worked out what I can have that is not too many syns. Their ramen are 6 syns for oil as they don't add oil to their noodles first. So I'm going for that and will get a side of edemame which are free. Their gyoza (little dumplings) are two each so I might see if my friend wants to share that too. I'll try to steer clear of syns during the day so I have all 15 for dinner.

Doing my DVD tonight will be a struggle. I'm so tired and really really hungry lol

i'm absolutely shattered and really should go wash my hair for work tomorrow but i reckon the shower would just wake me up which isn't ideal for this time of night so if i don't get up earlier tomorrow, i'll just shove my hair up...no biggy but i tend to wear it down a lot but i just can't be bothered :(

your day sounds like it'll be nice tomorrow with your meal out....i've only ever been to wagamama's once so not really clued up on their menu

twix and malteser celebrations choc on the goody menu to have soon, haven't had any syns today so even if i have crisps, it'll still be less than 10 for the day ;) x
 
I couldn't do it - my head is pounding. I've literally just finished dinner and I'm crawling into a bath and then bed. I have no plans this weekend so I'll make the day up then. Feel a bit like a failure for not doing it but I know I couldn't jump up and down with my head like this.

Your treats sound good. I've had 9.5 today but that leaves me a few to carry over for tomorrow.

Can I just say - i posted this on my way to work and it obv didn't work!! Luckily I had copied it so I can post again hehe

God I feel so much better today. I was in bed by 9:30 again and def needed it. Feel much more awake today which is good as I have another busy one.

So today for brekkie I have an apple and a yoghurt. Lunch is leftover pasta from last night (hexa for cheese and 3 syns in the sauce) and a mango (which I still need to cut up so that will be fun!!). I have my cereal bars for hexb and a spare apple in case I want it in the afternoon. So I'm sorted up til dinner and will only have had 3 syns unless i have a cuppa - but that will only be 2 max.

So I will have 10 minimum for tonight - if I don't have tea I will be able to have a glass of wine ;) hmmm decisions!! Lol

we went to bed earlier than usual too...but i tossed and turned for a while so in the end, it made no difference lol. i need a 9.30 one like you ;)

busy day for me and i've only just had dinner! work went fast thankfully - don't get many of those days lol.

food for today has been green for me, cheese and spring onion sandwich at lunch and a quorn peppered steak with boiled potatoes and carrots, corn and brocolli steam pouch thingy.

only used 1/2 a syn for mayo so lots left for celebrations lol.

how did the meal go? did you get the wine?x
 
My day went quite fast too which is good. It's nice to have something to focus on properly which always makes it go quicker for me.

Dinner went well apart from my friend springing on me that she wanted to go carluccios instead of wagamama or strada so all my planning went out the window lol. I had the seafood linguine - doesn't come with much in the way of sauce and I did have a glass of wine. As I was put on the spot I couldn't work out syns so if I was over I will cut back tomorrow to make it up once I have worked it out lol. Thank god it wasn't Sunday when I would have used all my syns lol.

It was lovely to see her actually. We haven't been in touch for a long time and we were best friends at school so good that we are starting our friendship again. I think it will carry on and get stronger again :)

On train home now so I needn't have a really late night either which is a bonus. I'll stay up with bf for a little bit I think as I haven't seen him much this week lol.

Which celebrations did you have tonight?
 
aww that was nice then...i love when you catch up with someone you haven't seen for ages...and it's even better when, no matter how much time has passed, it still feels "normal" together :)

i'm sure you will be covered for dinner, but what a shame your good planning didn't come together lol.

tonight it will be a galaxy one and maybe snickers or mars i think...a pkt of hoops and crosses plus a wee spread of mayo on my bread means only 9 for the day....i really should take full advantage of the 15 some time eh?
i mean, people use the 15 every day and still lose, but i'd be wary that cos i never have, it would be extra calories that i'm not really used to having and might have a negative eff on the scales?

i've sorted some stuff tonight that was planned for tomorrow and done the ironing so that will save doing it then...always something needing to be done around the house eh x
 
Well I use between 12 and 15 per day. I think thy recommend using them all to start with because if you get stuck then you have something to cut back on if you want to. I try not to use them all for the sake of it if I don't fancy anything but I do often use mine in my dinners with sauces and things so less for treats anyway.

Today I am going to a friends for dinner and she is making smoked peppered mackerel which I am going to count as 1 per fillet. It's 1 per 100g and an average fillet is 75g but you can't be sure I suppose so better to be safe. I might drive depending on if bf wants the car but if I don't then she will have a bottle of prosecco to share which is 3.5 per glass so I can limit myself to one glass. Even if we shared the bottle between three of us is would be able 10 syns each so not too bad. But I might just have a low syn day. I'll see how I feel later

Wasn't prepared last night but I'm on a red day so will have cereal bars and an apple for breakfast, WM roll (hexb) with ham and cucumber for lunch. I also have some cherry toms and cheese cut up (hexa) to munch on at lunchtime but will prob need to buy some more fruit.

What's your day looking like? Ru working?

today was gonna be red....but i made mac and cheese for the freezer...and the 3rd portion was screaming at me so i had some of that with salad for lunch.
made a big pot of quorn chilli too so have 4 portions to freeze but it's not very chilli like...i used a different can of chilli kidney beans and it's not got the same kick to it. added extra chilli powder but it's just ended up with more of a kick to the throat than flavour the whole thing?

never mind, it'll do for me and it's full of tomatoes, peppers and onion and great for any plan ;)

i bought a cauliflower too cos i wanna try the cauliflower base pizza! have you had it before?

that's what the plan was for today on red and i suppose i could still have it but i think i'll make fanta chicken with noodles for dinner and save that for the red day as planned. i've seen people have cauliflower rice too...i'm not really a fan so i'm not sure how much i'd like it....but i reckon the pizza would be well disguised?

Morning hun. How ru?

I haven't tried cauliflower pizza - how do you make it stick together to form a base? I've had the smash one but wasn't that impressed. I prefer to use a hexb pitta bread instead or use some syns on a sheet of filo pastry and have that lol. There is a pizza base you can buy that is about 16 syns - asda or tesco own brand I think - but I am yet to try that either.

Last night was really good and I loved the mackerel. Really tasty and she made loads of veg to go with it and a tomato sauce. Whole thing had tons of superfree and was only 2 syns. I had 2 medium measures of southern comfort with diet lemonade so I'm counting them as 4 each making the day only 10 syns. Happy with that ;)

Today is EE for me. I've just had a yummy fry up with mushrooms, tomatoes, sautéed potatoes, poached egg and bacon mmmm. Dinner is going to be spaghetti bolognese and I might see my hexb to make garlic bread out of a WM roll. Then I'll still have 12 syns to use on whatever I fancy.

I've been up since about 9 and done some washing (load two is on ATM), done a pile if ironing and stripped my bed. I'm getting ready to go for a run now as I didn't get back from work in time to do my DVD in the end. (Feeling like I had a rubbish exercise week this week so I'm going to do today and tomorrow - and go spinning Monday if I finish work on time!!)

dinner sounds like it was nice and still well under your syns with a fun night...bonus!

not looked at the recipe properly but i think you grate the cauliflower and cook it a bit, add some mozzarella cheese and seasoning to make a dough....will report back when i've made it but hoping it tastes nice. i quite like the smash base but if this is good then the thought of added superfree without realising is a hit with me. i lack in the veg dept more than anything, yes i have fruit a lot and the occasional salad but it's really only the basic peppers, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes that are fired in my meals and i know they all still count but more's not gonna do any harm.

soup's are great for getting them in but again, i never really stray from the same recipe.

i woke about 7 and tried to snooze til after 8...then decided it was too cold to get up so i lay for a bit in bed deciding what i could eat lol. dozed off a bit again and now my tummy's rumbling as i proceeded to get up and faff about before tackling the hunger issue.

got some pudding rice on to have with blackberries, blueberries, chopped banana and frozen raspberries and today i'm gonna try and go for some clothes....eeek! lol

i really need stuff and especially as it's getting cold. i was in primark the other week to get socks for my wee one but didn't have time to look for me. what i noticed was a whole load of knit wear and to be honest, it's not my thang! love it all on other people but it never really flatters me so i need to get a good look and be committed to my trip if i decide to go today...you know the score lol.

not sure if today is green or EE yet but i kept one portion of quorn chilli out the freezer anyway so will decide later. think i'll do red tomorrow and try the pizza then (need to remember to pick up mozzarella today though!)x
 
Oooohhhh shopping trip!! Very exciting hun - just relax and go with the flow. Just get a few essentials and don't put too much pressure on yourself. You will have to let me know how you get on!

Just back from my run - not too far for the first one which is a bit disappointing but my asthma plays up in winter so I'm just gonna take it slowly. Tomorrow morning I'll either do a run or my DVD :) back to ironing and cleaning now *sigh*


The cauliflower thing sounds like its worth a try hun. Give it a go and see. If it's good I might give it a try!

back from my 4 hr trip to the shops...not a very successful one but i did well considering lol.
jumpers + me = rugby player look...i just can't pull them off and i'm envious of the people who can wear the over sized stuff but i'm afraid it does nothing for me and i haven't lost this weight to hide under anything ;)

so layers it'll need to be for me i think?

noticed in asda they do pork shoulders with all the fat and skin already off...why had i not seen this before! my other half loves the pulled pork but i think it's such a hassle getting all that stuff off and it puts me off...but i got a shoulder joint for £4 and it's just the meat...woohoo...so much easier and he'll be chuffed :D

picked up some mozzarella too...kinda feels like a breast implant pmsl...is that the right stuff? or should i have got the grated stuff...think it's to help melt it together a bit (you mix the "riced" cauli with that, seasoning and an egg if i remember rightly)

and so that's my day...not long in the door, was starving when i was out and couldn't get a baked potato so opted for some boiled potatoes with a spoonful of beans in asda cafe a couple of hrs ago. think i'll just have the quorn chilli on toast or with ryvita seeing as i have 2 HE's still to use...will wait and see

good for you on the run, shame about your asthma but a wee bit at a time will help...even if its not to your standards lol x
 
I love layers. I struggle to pull off oversized stuff or anything that isn't a little fitted as I have a short body, slim waist but big bust. So anything oversized makes me look a lot bigger than I am. So I usually go for layers too :)

Yep that's mozzarella that you picked up. I always think it feel weird as well but I can see how it would stick the cauliflower together now.

Yesterday was a bit of a strange one as I ended up going out straight after dinner. I hadn't had any syns all day or a hexb so I was looking forward to curling up with cereal bars and my merryteaster that bf bought me ;) but when I got to the party we went to, I had a glass of cider (6 syns) and didn't get home til half 11 so I had my cereal bars and one prawn cracker from bf's dinner (counting as half syn for ease even though it's less than that) and went to bed lol. So a 6.5 syn day for me!

I'm off round bf's mums today (baby shower for his sister) and I'm pretty sure there will be food there but I'm not sure what. So I'm gonna keep it syn free til I go and have a bacon and egg roll (hexb). Might try to make today red depending on the food there.

What's your plan today? It's raining massively here today and cold so no run for me. Might do DVD instead.
