Help needed for 1st day......

I bet it makes you fed up listening to us southerners moan about a bit of wind lol. Nothing running til 9 is the current update still. So frustrating that it's so disruptive - times like this I wish I worked locally instead of London.

Just about to get up (gave myself an extra hour in bed lol) and weigh. Fingers crossed!!

You cooking today or back to work?!
 
STS this week. Well actually lost 1/4 of a lb but I'm not going to bother counting 1/4lbs lol. I didn't get as much SuperFree as usual so maybe that's why?!
 
an extra hr in bed...woo hoo lol.

sts isn't a gain which is always a positive and i'm sure a wee bit extra superfree will help this week ;)

spent the last hour on the phone sorting stuff out and now face another to deal with insurance (eurgh! lol) so gonna go get that done then bash on with my cooking.
how's the weather at your end now? as bad as they thought?

Well the weather is pretty changeable - raining and cloudy at the moment but has been bright and sunny most of the morning.

The problem is that there are fallen trees on the tracks that they need to move. Apparently no trains all day. my boss has just told me not to try and come in for parliament tonight so I'm off the hook. I'm just gonna work from home today.

Bf has been busy sorting out his stuff and getting rid of all the rubbish and has just gone to the shops to buy breakfast things so we can have a fry up for lunch :)

Dinner is going to be less syns than I though it seems so I'm pleased about that. I'll try and get tons of SuperFree in :) what's your food plan today?!
 
aww i didn't realise the parliament thing was actually 10pm...i thought you'd written the pm by mistake hence the reason i said i hope the day wasn't too long lol...silly me!

not too sure what my plan is - either green or EE, i had rice with fruit this morning and some dahl loaf when it was ready but not sure about dinner so it'll be dependant on that i guess.

great news on the dinner thing (although i was already picking what i'd be having if it were me going to that place...not easy on the syns lol) and bonus that you can work from home too x
 
Well I was planning EE today but bf just made dinner and I didn't fancy any carbs as I've got indigestion again. So I just had veg meaning it could be red today if I have a hexb later. Not sure I will want it though unless this goes down properly.

We had breaded chicken and veg. Bf had really buttery mash with his lol.

Steal night tomorrow so it will be EE for me. Got some soup in the freezer I think so ill take that with me for lunch :)
 
oh how did you make the breaded chicken?

just back, 3 off for me tonight but now starving and trying to make dinner...the others had hotdog in a bun with "fries to go"...god i wanted it lol, but i'm having pasta with quorn pieces, lots of superfree and philly light stirred through...go me! ;) x

Well done on resisting the food as well lol. Bet it was a right struggle but imagine how much better you will feel once you have eaten it!!

The chicken was shop bought - much as I would like to lay claim to it. It works out as 4 syns per piece which I didn't think was too bad (and they were reduced so even more of a bonus!)
 
i like chicken in breadcrumbs but don't think i've ever bought a box and not sure how it works out with syns for them

i like the smash coated chicken that i've made before with bbq seasoning. i know it's sometimes frowned upon but i've only had them a couple of times ;) x
 
Omg my internet has been awful the last few days. Pretty sure my bf has broken my phone with all these stupid games he downloads free

Yeah not bad. My nieces have arrived nice and early today so we are watching 'Up'. Gonna get some pumpkins later to keep them busy before the halloween party!!
 
aww that's a great film! I always get a bit teary at the beginning lol.

lots of goodies floating about at work today....damn this time of year - it's the start of stuff lying about from now til xmas! challenges eh lol.

Had a really nice day babysitting for my nieces and took them to a halloween party. I put a SW stew on to cook gut forgot to put the lid on so I came home to it burnt to a crisp :( managed to rescue the saucepan but haven't had any dinner.

Tbh I'm not overly hungry but I know I will be in the middle of the night! I had my tuna sandwich lunch quite late so that's prob why I'm not hungry. Pleased I didn't pick at the party food though. :)
 
I've done cheese on toast - a and b and since I didn't have anything substantial to eat its fine for a red day!

I haven't been keeping track if things very well this week because I have had a few days off and I can feel that I have been off track. I've not been writing down my syns or checking my hexs as I have been running around all over the place and forgot to bring my book with me! Do you know what I mean?! I feel bloaty and puffy :(

gonna try and success express over the weekend I think or I just know I'm in for a gain. Such a shame if that happens after nearly half a stone loss!

On a positive note I saw a friend today who has started SW and he has lost 2.5 stone so far in about 5 weeks :) he is doing really well although I do worry because he says he isn't having syns so I hope he doesn't fall off the wagon! Nice to see someone succeed!

How has your halloween been?!
 
aww that's a fab loss for your friend.
in comparison to the amount of months i've been doing this, it makes me feel a bit bad...that he's lost it so fast i mean!

i know slow and steady wins the race and losing a couple of lbs a month is still good considering i eat decent stuff but i look at other people's stats and think...hmmm...are you just mucking about a bit?

halloween's been quiet for us, only 1 chap at the door but the weather's been awful today so that's probably why!

it's a shame really...it's not what it used to be and no one really answers the doors much where i am :(

try not to worry too much about this week, i've struggled a bit to be honest and i'm not sure if subconsciously, it's because i have a few things planned where i know i'll be off plan but trying not to stress too much about it cos i don't want it to have a negative effect on me....so bloody hard sometimes eh :( x
 
well he still has about 5 or 6 stone to lose so still a long way to go!

strange that we have both been struggling this week - probably as we havent been sharing our food plans etc. that is always a factor when i take my eye off the ball.

i just bought the new mag so this weekend its plan time!!! :)
 
i've still been posting on my diary and did have a NSV the other day when i had a piece of caramel shortcake and as i was eating it, i was planning in my head to get a mcdonalds and what goodies i was gonna buy to cram it in seeing as i had "blown it!" but in the end, i came home and had a sw friendly burger and chips for dinner and didn't stop for stupid amounts of goodies so it was a bonus!

i guess seeing as i started in january, and haven't really been out much, it's quite new to me having these testing times lol....we're proper struggling for money and i'm getting fed up paying a fortune for healthy food when i know we could eat junk for a month for the same amount i'm spending a week...or less!

i'm not gonna stop at all, but it's been a tricky week lol x
