how do you lose 2 thirds of your self?

Hi Mandy, hope you are OK. I don't know what to say about the predicament you are in, only that at least it sounds like you have lots of support around you (plus us on here, of course!) and I am sure you will work something out, it might just take a bit of time.

Thinking of you hun, xxx

It was quite a worthwhile evening as managed to talk things out with hubby, but probably ate to much in the process:eek:

jumped straight back on the wagon this morning and have been 100% all day have planned the week to minimise the damage.
But if it does result in a gain i will not be too disappointed cos i know why

Oh wow hun, well done for being brave enough to have the big talk with your hubby. I can really identify with what you said about changing yourself to suit other people - it's something I've done a lot in the past (and possibly even in the present) without even realising at times.

I'm sure you'll be okay whatever happens in the long run, Real Mandy is a strong lady ;) :bighug:

Food is looking good, hope you enjoyed your saturday night with mamma mia, I love having a singalong with musical films , really cheers me up :D

I'm fine thanks! Have not been down the allotment as much as I would have liked to this week, the weather has been poor and it got all muddy, and seeing as I left my wellies at school I haven't bothered going down too much! It has been good today though, so I am hoping to go down tomorrow afternoon! :)

Glad to hear you had a good chat, and it sounds like you made progress.

Have a great evening, xx

lots of exercise today
been to the gym and walked the dog :D
Oddly i have really enjoyed it, allthougth my legs really ache now :D

went to the gym with my dad he went in the pool but i am not brave enougth to do that yet:sigh:
might try and go in the hydropool in the week but not going to push that one too much for now.
I have decided that some of the gym equipment was designed by a masocist:eek:
but i will not be beaten by it :D

I have started retaining water again cos i can feel it in my feet and hands
it really gets on my nerves I eat really good and then still add on water.
plan is to drink lots to try and flush it out, carry on 100% and then if it does have a detremental effect then look forward to the big loss when it goes:D

food for today

B pineapple with greek yoghart and honey (2 syns )

L ham sandwich with rocket and tomatoe
(hexb and 6 syns )

T pork, roast parsnip, cabbage and leek, carrot and swede gravy (2 syns ) muller yog, melon and mango slices

total of 10 for the day so not too bad :D

have already made lentil and veg soup for lunches this week and taken turkey pieces out of the freezer so just need to decide what to do with them now, think a curry is the preferred option, althougth i won't be having rice with mine. we will just have to see what i feel like tomorrow :D

Teen is back at collage so looking forward to a nice quite day

Getting tired reading about your exercise antics :8855:

Mn, keep wanting to go swimming myself - asides the general lack of confidence for it I find it really difficult to get a costume that fits well as my top and bottom half are really unbalanced. And can't go for a tankini thing 'cause don't trust the bottoms to stay up

Maybe the pool will be quieter during the week so not as scary?

Hmn wonder if the water retention is stress-related... or could just be a delayed effect of your off-plan night t'other day from the wine or something *shrugs* as you say it'll be gone soon enough and may give you a boost on the scales once it does push off :D

Turkey curry sounds yum... was pondering on looking for a Christmas Soup recipe using turkey and thyme/sage, get into the seasonal mood :D

Morning sweetie, a quick in and out today as I am cooking for buffet night tonight...just wanted to say glad you and hubby were able to have the chat (me and mal always talk, used to be me talking and him sulking but he does join in now which is great.)
I am hoping to get back into the exercise routine but my foot is being stubborn and not clearing up too well this time, so I am using your thread and exercise routine to keep me motivated, well done for keeping it up, the pool is a great idea but in your own time. Oh and not just some of the gym equipment was designed by masochists, all of it was hun lol
Loving your menu and haven't had turkey for a while must find a recipe for something as I love it, none of my other cohabitors do but hey they eat what they are given lol
I am off hun will catch you later tonight, have a lovely day xxxxxxxxxxxx

Well done on all your exercise hun, makes you feel good doesn't it?! Even the fact that my legs are killing me at the moment still makes me smile, as I know I have achieved something! :)

Keep it up! xx

Do you chuck your BNS wedges in the actifry or just ovenbake them?

I enjoyed my walk this afternoon too - it was damp out but sunny while I was walking. Seems much more autumny this week - there were lots of green leaves still about before half-term, all orangey reds now, lovely :D

I'm glad you and hubbie were able to talk and listen to each other.

You've really got this exercise bug haven't you. I wonder why I never catch it

i just know i have to do it tilly:eek:

althougth i quite like going to the gym except the crosstrainer which i am convinced was designed as an instument of torture

just to show how insane i am , going in the morning at 7.30 am

i put them in the actifry, with a spray of frylight and sprinkled on garlic and black pepper they were really nice.

It is really autumny today, where i walk the dog is an old tip that has been grassed over and trees planted to make it pretty. All the leaves seem to have dropped this week, but I couldn't scrunch througth them properly cos they were damp and didn't make the right noise:cry:
used to love that when i was a kid:D

its really good exercise cos it goes up and down the old mounds and the dog can run around off lead cos hardly any one goes up there. can't ever be built on cos the tip underneath causes methane build up
downside of it is that on rare occassions you can smell it

Sounds like a doggie's Heaven on Earth :D

Still impatient for a dog myself, been pondering mostly small types but wondering if a bigger one would help me feel safer if needing to walk it in the evenings - don't think OH would bother much...

:D i think i am ill !!! it is almost 10 am and i have already done 90 mins of exercise:eek:

i have done a 40 min workout in the gym and then came home and took the dog out for another 50 mins !!!!:happy036:

is this person really me

hope i can keep it up have arranged with my dad to go again on fri morn :D

don't know why i get like this cos i am hoping to go back to work

It means i am a bit ratty and low in mood today but it is the first time in a couple of weeks:D

hasn't derailed me thougth, has made me more determined :)

todays meals

mini B fibre plus bar (6 syns)

real B boiled egg and toast (hexb)

L chicken salad (rocket, toms, cucumber) yog, honey (2 syns) banana
