How to lose half your body weight in 10 days (Or a bit longer!)

Too right brit! My mum taught me all my handy skills other than putting up curtain rails. She even taught me how to change a plug, and the offside rule, and how to tie a tie.

I've not gone for tests. We don't like going to the drs in our family. Especially if I know what the response is going to be. I am anemic, I have yucky iron tablets. the response will be the same as before, you have lost a lot of weight and you are stressed because of changes. Last month it was lost 5.5 stone and moving house, this month lost 6 stone and new job. Part of me wants to Target to let my body catch up, but I really don't want to Target yet.

I wasn't needed on the stall, they sold out before my slot! Got a gorgeous handmade cushion and Nate gave me a bite of his cake, he also got to pet a 4 week old baby owl (SO CUTE) and he got to ride on a tractor. Total special treatment as no other kids got to sit on it. Bloody child can charm anything!

hi my lovely. I read your post on 20 somethings, sounds like it has been a hard time, I'm so glad to hear your dad is 7/10. I never feel 7/10! haha. Glad you are feeling more positive weight wise too. sounds like you are so busy caring for everyone else you aren't getting any time for you.

Things are mostly good. I just need to stop feeling woozy. it is mostly mornings and i'm sure it'll even itself out eventually.

It's not so good to hear how dizzy/ fainty you are though. Your body really is testing you isn't it? But you don't give in.

House sounds like its coming on, are you and Nate happy and settling in well, hope so.

How far away from target are you now about 3st?

It has been tough (my diary post was even more long and boring, 20 something's got the edited version lol!) yeah I know that feeling they said that difficulty wise and outcome wise it was. 7/10 so good and his test results show it is belong treated positively at the mo. I am feeling more positive, I am trying to find time for me but I find I can't focus on me til I know everybody else is ok first so were getting there.

Fingers crossed u start to feel better soon then Hun its no fun feeling poorly every day x

Hi Fran glad to see things are coming together for you :) Hope you manage to kick the wooziness though and think you might need to break your rules and nip to the doc, perhaps you need a stronger iron dose, or something else x
 
Well, yesterday we went to mum and dad's and while I was there I weighed myself. It showed a 4lb gain and I just don't know how. So we got home and I ate loads of crap, and I have done the same this afternoon. Thing is, this morning, no wooziness, no weakness, fainting or anything! I don't get it. I need to plan out this coming week and get back to losing weight and stopping being a knob.

First shadowing tomorrow, from half 11 to half 1. I think if I get Nate down for 11:15 mum can just give him lunch, then I can take him to toddlers.
 
Hey Fran. Boo to the gain but I have missed your awesome way with words! That is the first smile on my face all day, so thanks :D

I too have been a knob and sabotaged myself but we all have days/ weeks where we think screw it.

It's odd how you've had no wooziness this morning, could it be low blood sugar?

Thanks re shadowing, it should be fine, only two hours. I picked non-meeting days. After being forced to pray for a gazebo on Saturday (i wish I were bloody joking) I could not handle any more forced prayer this week. It took all my strength not to snicker and I was thanking god that their eyes were shut because i couldnt stop smirking! Pretty sure that you ain't meant to pray for a gazebo!

I'm just feeling bum and wanting rubbish.

Oh brit it was ridiculous. I wanted to shout "yay god!" at the end it was so ludicrous.

I think I will do some food planning for this week. I hate my oven which makes me less inclined to cook too. But I got some bargain gammon reduced to clear in Tesco today. Feeling pooped now though.
 
lol I had some Jehovah's witnesses at my door earlier, so I feel your pain. They were trying to tell me that my conscience is God talking to me. There was me thinking I had free will to choose my own actions, but who am I to argue. It annoyed me that she didn't listen to what I said, she mentioned about me being a nurse.... absolutely nothing wrong with nurses they have my complete respect, but I'm not a nurse lol she just wasn't listening.

It was nutty. The team are really respectful that I don't attend church services and stuff. Shadowing went well, was more an induction, really informative and a lot to take in. It is tricky with the vicar leaving in September with no replacement but it will all work out I'm sure. Google docs and calendar seem really straight forward and I know where the biscuits live, which is super important.

Did ring up mum to say we were running late and mum described nate's huge **** to me, with the current admin sat next to me able to hear every word! Apparently he was really good other than mega dump and had lots to eat. He is about to have a really late nap and I am going to get some food. I had fruit and yogurt and 2 cups of tea so far!

I was planning on skipping weigh in this week, just because I hate the judgement I get because I'm expected to always lose weight. But mum made me feel better about it (generally bugger them!) And my group is lovely, but it feels like some people are allowed to gain and others aren't. A bit like a good student getting a bad grade where as other students are allowed the bad grades with no fuss. Going to group I know I will be "reset" for the week ahead. I've starred planning my meals because I got some great reduced to clear meat yesterday. :D I'm thinking "super simple week" breakfasts are fruit and yogurt or eggs, lunches are sandwich or jacket potato and evening meals are running down meaty supplies I have built up. E.g. beef stir fry, roast gammon dinner, jambolya, and so on.
 
Hey sugar, just nipping in before I head out to wi. Glad all went well with shadowing today and no gazebo/tent/teepee prayers required.

Totally with you on the 'you can gain but you can't' thing with group. Don't even want to go to mine tonight but hey ho, sometimes you just gotta right? I need to plan my meals too, but what with work draining my brain I just can't be bothered and its doing me in. I think simple is the way forward for ease.

Hey hun, I wanted to say something on your diary about the politics of a gain, but I didn't want to detract away from it being your diary so I just wanted you to know we will all always be so proud of you. As well as mum steam rollering me I thought if you can go then I can go too, I just need to not care what people say. One lady punched me on the arm because I gained :/ I dunno when that became acceptable behaviour.

Super simple is feeling like the way to go. So busy keeping things interesting that im giving myself loads of extra work! I have weigh in tomorrow, the next day is more shadowing, Friday I have a meeting in bridport. Then nothing on this weekend. Monday is tap class, Tuesday haircut am toddlers pm. Then it is weigh in again. Then a trip to exeter to get some work clothes that fit. And if I have more work questions next week is the last week I can ask the current admin. Then the following Monday it is all me!

I might post my meal plan of super simplicity when I finish it tonight. I was just going to pick up bits in town but poopy needs more bum coverers.

I hope your weigh in wasn't too dreadful :)
