How to lose half your body weight in 10 days (Or a bit longer!)

Aww thanks ladies.

Yeah hulk chicken sounds so cool, I mentioned it at group too, they were like "but feta won't melt" "what would you have with it?!" "cant you use laughing cow?" Honest these are women over 50 and you'd think they had never cooked before! I had to point out I hadn't tried it yet, it was a new recipe for this week, but I gave a soup one I really liked. I will let you know if it is good. I have a feeling it'll be Yum, I adore the saltiness of feta.

No problem catlover, I'm doing a few of her recipes this week :) quite looking forward to it. Might have a flick through some of our non-sw cook books to get some new menus. I have a rose prince one I loved that I might use for next week.

Weigh in was ok, half a lb up. I was expecting a gain after syn scoffing and not going to the loo since Saturday. My system is so bloody slow! Give me rubbish food and that gets me going! Fiber, fruit and veg, fluids, and I get nada.

Decided to extend 100% week to 100% lent. January worked out pretty awesome for it, the only planned blip could be nate's birthday, but I can factor in a slice of cake into my syns. I've decided to do a caterpillar because he loves the very hungry caterpillar... Maybe I should eat the Apple, pears, plums, strawberries and oranges instead! Haha.

Aiming for 3lbs this week to get that naughty 5 stone award!

Pathetic! Just going to make lunch now. I'd have done it earlier but dad forgot to pick me up. Spent half and hour walking home in the rain (no brolly too windy, and no hood) I'd gone down one hill, up two big hills and along all the flat bit before he remembered, saved me going down and then up a REALLY steep hill though, and along more flat bit. Bleeding hills! The flat way is all flooded so I am up and down like a yoyo. Oh, and I had two big bags of shopping with me and Nate in his pushchair. At least it is some body magic ticked off the list!

I was going to have egg, chips and beans, in need of some comfort food! But I dunno if I am that hungry :/
 
Half a pound isn't so bad, like you say esp after the little syn sesh last week.

See you have had a little bit of body magic going there :D I hate carrying shopping at the best of times....

If you aren't that hungry why not just have egg and chips or beans and chips rather than all 3? Or scrambled egg and beans - nom! Xx
 
Hi Fran that 0.5 will be off next week and more besides. Your week aheads food looks fab and well planned. Its good that your already factoring stuff into your day for Nates birthday and its not here yet. That award has your name on it for next week hun. Good luck x
 
Thanks ladies. This week was fine. I've always said I don't mind a gain when it is deserved, last week was just a kick in the teeth.

I had spaghetti hoops on toast (heb). Woop. And an apple and grapes - suddenly became hungry when eating. haha. Woop for the left over hoops in the fridge. :) saved myself a fair few cals on lunch.

Got to hunt for a 100% lent thread now!

How are your days going? I hope WI is as kind to you texty :)
 
Im just waiting for the garage to ring to say i can pick my car up after its service, Im not relishing walking to the garage in the snow however :(

I had a lean ham and low low toastie this morning with some frylight mushrooms and a cuppa, lunch was 2 SW quiches with a boiled egg, cherry toms, a tsp of salad cream with some grapes to follow. I try and eat as light as poss on a Wed lol - Im hoping for a loss as my scales have been pretty consistent for the last few days, but Its the SW ones that count - groan!!!
 
I used to love my WW WI's on a sat morning, but I dont want to change classes as I really like my C on a wed. I will just have to have a big pee before I get on the scales lol

Laura, that's not bad at all :) It's funny, my C offered me to do fast forward because I had a second gain (I said no), last week I was offered to target, feels a bit like they think I can't get lower (which it feels like to me sometimes). But I think they were confused that I was so annoyed last week, where as this week I was fine with it. Haha. What's your goal for next week? How's 100% going so far?

I am HUNGRY. gah. I've used 13 syns and all my healthy extras, I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner and I am HUNGRY. I was hungry after dinner, and I still am. GRUMBLE.
 
Plenty you can eat for free sweetheart! What have you got in? Let's see if we can rustle something nice and tasty up for you. I'm in a picky mood - at my full 15 syns after wanting to stay low... I'm just craving crisps?! Xx
 
Ooh Fran, yes I've got a diary but it's not all food, mainly random ramblings lol. I do love mm's the supports is fab.

I HATE hungry days, when I can't get full & just wants crisps. Urgh it's horrid with hormones etc sometimes.
 
mm crisps... Walked into Tesco and full frontal crisps and chocolate (and wine but that doesn't bother me) ARGH. Stupid Tesco. I know the cravings thing. Not too cravy just hungry.

I'm having a green day. Have had

D: lowlow (hea) pasta with peas, onion, leek, green pepper, courgette, carrot, mushroom
s: chocolate (13 syns), 2 hifi light bars (heb2) other hea is on milk.

I think I've gotten into my head I need to snack less so I ... it is stupid. hungry but i don't want to eat because I think I've had enough. You name it I've probably got it in. Just got my stupid head on.
 
If Nates asleep have a nice relaxing bath, light some candles. As Minky says try some crafting to distract you and your hands and failing that have a little something. You can pull it back tomorrow if you need to. We just talked about this in group tonight, about beating yourself up for cravings and actually having what you fancy.

It came about because a new member has lost 13lbs in her first week, when the C asked how she had found/managed it, she said Ive tried to have no syns. She kind of got a ticking off -our C said slimming world would strongly recommend you do not do this, as you will end up giving in and probably go overboard. The girls answer was - all im craving is mayo- its my downfall I use a Jumbo bottle a week and have it with everything, I put it on dinners, toast, curries eurghhhh gross. Everyone in the class suggested trying light or lighter mayo to see if she could wean herself off the stuff.

Rambling but I guess what im saying is if you want something have it, you can pull it back tomorrow
 
Have you drunk enough today? Sometimes I don't and confuse that with hunger. Sorry if it sounds like I'm teaching you how to suck eggs! And don't feel stupid at all! Plonker, we all have days like it xx
