Wow Issy that looks delicious ! I have such a sweet tooth :17729:. I could eat that picture :D ! You sound like your having a good food week. 5 1/2 syns for chorizo not bad, at least you can still enjoy it. You managed to fit walks in too, that's great. I hope to start body magic soon, once i'm better. Being at home doesn't help, I end up snacking a lot. I find having chopped fruit on the ready always helps with night time munchies too :p . My week has been ok so far, but I thought I had a good week last week and I sts, so I have no idea what the scales will do this week. I have been having mainly green days, I eat a lot of quorn. Have you tried quorn chorizo it's really nice I had it on a sw pizza once. It's 5 syns for the whole pack, well worth it and the flavours not bad ! I'm going to have a red day tomorrow, planning on having my favourite, smoked salmon. I have found in the past when I eat fish I lose more as opposed to other meats, strange but its true. Your chicken and chorizo hotpot sounds perfect for this weather ! I wanted to ask, do you weigh yourself at home mid week ? I do sometimes, I know its naughty but sometimes a week seems too long and I want to know if i'm losing anything.

Scan Bran was that good that I've signed up for a regular delivery from Amazon, gonna experiment with a few flavouring I have, but the muller vanilla/coconut was lovely, it was kinda like a bounty bar cake with the choc philly on top & so filling. I could've stretched it by cutting it into fingers but I was a complete greedy guts & only got 3 portions, was stuffed after it.

Same as you I've been snack on grapes, banans & chopped melon, so far so good. I've been busy the last few nites so thats helped keep the munchies at bay. I know you had a good week & a STS, do you think this could just be your body clock, I say this because I tend to have a STS every 4weeks or so, regardless of how good I've been that week. I have to admit something to you................

I can't help it :eek: I do it a few times a week, if not every day!! I know I shouldn't but I do, I have considered hiding the scales or sticking them in the boot of the car. I always weigh myself before going to Group so I can compare scales :D

Your quorn chorizo sounds good I must look for it. I'd love to eat more fish but I'm not a "fishy" person, I heard a good number of people say the same ass you, in that their losses are bigger when eat it. I bought some mackeral to try, I'm on a "try something new every week" buzz!!

It's normally 3-4 times a week and each time they are so different from one another it drives me crazy so I don't know why I do it to myself lol. I only weigh in the morning when my stomach is nice and empty :p . My scales at home normally show me 1 lb more than my consultants so that's not too bad. Do u find your home scales to be accurate ?

I tend to do morning weigh-ins, which is ridiculous as my official weigh-in is a 7.30 Group, my scales are a 1lb kinder to me than the SW scales. :) I even choose my outfits to suit the weigh-in, ha ha the lightest in the wardrobe for weigh-in nite:D

I have well and truly messed up all the good work I did in the week. Don't even know if I should bother to go to group this week. Sorry for rant, feel like crap !

Oh no Kay still go to Group,don't let one blowout ruin your good week. I'm an emotional eater too, I chomp when I'm happy,sad,mad or bad,we're only human,chalk it up & don't let it define the rest of your week or you'll feel worse hun,sending you a big "internet" hug all the way from the middle of a cold & wet Ireland ;):)

We have the fire lit, hubby & girls are playing with his train set & poor cat doesn't know what to make of it. Just having a cuppa with 2 slices of scan bran cake, only syns is the choc philly 2syns, only need a little for a good taste.

Catching up on telly, George Clarkes Amazing Spaces,love it.

Climb back on the wagon tomorrow & I'm gonna drinks loads of herbal tea:)

I am a serial weigher too in fact I get quite annoyed with myself if I forget to weigh in the morning.. it's a regular must for me.

How you doing?? Sorry to hear you were in hospital, hope you're doing better now:) I saw on your diary you've got a cruise booked, something lovely to look forward to. What's your itinerary like?

I was gonna recommend herbal teas to you, to try up your fluids, I'm experimenting with some, I've been having trouble sleeping, might be all the caffeine in regular tea. I'm using cranberry & green tea, nettle & blackberry, nettle & mint and a summer fruits one.

I actually feel better after stuffing my face ! It's like I needed to get it out of my system. However I still have some naughties in the cupboard for tomorrow so think I will right this weekend off ! Fresh start on Monday and also doc says I can resume gym from now on, so with some body magic I should be able to undo the damage I hope ! You sound like you had a nice relaxing weekend. Pizza yummy ! Yes it does make me feel better that you had that lol :D !

Good you sound in better form Kay. I'm slumped in the chair in a pizza coma, pizza is a lethal foodstuff but I love it, that & tortilla chips are two foodstuff I love but avoid. :cool:

Oh it'll be great for you to get back in the gym, I hate the thought of exercise but feel great once I get off my lazy butt & actually do some:D

I actually have your syn-free pizza recipe saved, I bought a cauliflower (a foodstuff I detest) to try it but I kept putting off making it & it ended up in the bin. Can I ask you does it taste "cauliflowery", I don't have a food processor, will the cheese grater be good enough??

Good idea the herbal teas... I have some which I keep forgetting about.. Cranberry & green tea is one... but I find I can only drink one of them a day.

You're off on my birthday, hope you have a great time, I see your cabin was upgraded, I hope they continue to treat you well, it'll be lovely to be away over the Xmas, great idea, it's something I'd love to do in the future, if hubby can be persuaded.

Pizza will be a one-off, have to say I feel crappy, after eating well my body seems to be rejecting greasey food, it doesn't seem to agree with me.

I usually have one cup of herbal a day, building up to more, half the time I just forget.

Yep the cheese grater will be fine for the cauliflower pizza. It will taste less cauliflowery when you add the herbs and half the grated cheese (the other half save for your final topping) to the cauliflower mixture before putting it in the oven to bake. Hope this helps. Would love to hear how it comes out :) .

How has your day been ? I hope you are well. I have been thinking about starting my diary on here since I am 1 lb away from losing 50 lbs. I have had a few friends request that I do also. I am in two minds because I don't think I will be able to update it regular and I also have another popular thread on here which I have to keep up to date. There are benefits to having a diary at the same time. I know it will push me to have a real focus when I look back and read what I've actually put in my stomach lol :D . Have you found it helps you ?

Yeah Kay I think the diary is a good idea, even if you don't update the food bit regularly, it'll be a place for you to vent & your friends can pop in & visit ;) It's great sounding board too, you can ask your friends opinions & get advice. I can only see a diary as a positive step & sure you've nothing to lose by starting one.

I was a bit hesitant, even starting to post on the forum, I lurked for years, I do like my privacy, I don't do Facebook which people think is weird, just here & I'm careful with private details.

I vote go for it!!!
 
Well the scales tipped in my favour & I'm down a lb,not alot but in terms of sausages, it's significant ;) :)

I bought a lb of sausages this morning in my "big" shop,I can look at it later & visualise it as gone off my body (& a$$)
 
Well done Issy for losing a lb :0clapper: . I am expecting a gain tomorrow, I have been terrible this weekend :eek: . I feel even worse now because I just got a text from my SW consultant that I have been nominated for Miss Slinky, what does that even mean ? help I'm clueless ? She has asked me to bring an old photo of mine. What does this miss slinky exactly mean I have to do ? Sorry for all the questions, but I hope I don't have to be up infront of a whole lot of people, I am very shy :rolleyes: . I am thinking of starting my diary in the new year, my other thread is keeping me busy for now and I feel with Christmas there are chances of me only talking about mince pies in a December diary :D . January I will have a real focus and a fresh start to the year.
