These things happen.... allow your self a bit more than 5 syns for the rest of the week .... and think of all the stuff you love which are good for you and won't cost you anything .... like the SW pancakes....

put a list up here of your favs..... at the end of the day, it was just some choc not rat poison ..... here for you honey x

Thank you Sweetie, I just tend to self sabotage at least once a month, blame it on the oul hormones :D Speaking of pancakes, have jad no lunch mite go make some with fruit ;)
 
Ok so I went group & faced the music :rolleyes:

& after choc-fest I am officially up a lb, which I think is getting off lightly considering I ate the weight of a small child in chocolate :17729:

I'm all fired up after group & will start with a clean slate again in the morning :D

I hope your well. A 1 lb gain is not too bad Issy, it will defo come off next week :). I gained 2 lbs last week but lost 1 lb this week, so i'm back in the right direction . A new week and a fresh start for all of us. My losses have slowed down a lot since my op. I used to lose 3 lbs a week before, now I am lucky to even lose 1 lb a week, because my body magic has stopped. And being stuck at home and having to rest I get bored so I end up eating even when i'm not hungry. What I must do is keep healthy snacks nearby so I don't reach out for the wrong stuff when i'm bored. We have had such horrible rainy weather in London this week, I'm so craving fish and chips for dinner, but that's not happening ! lol I went through the family recipes book at group today, it looked really good, I might buy it next week and try out a few recipes. What have you got planned this week for food, to help keep you on track ?

Hi Kay,

That's great you sound back on track this week with your loss. Just back from shopping so stocked up on my fruit & veg, I'm gonna pack them into every meal. I got melons, because I think that's what happened last week, it was handy to reach for chocolate, at nite I can have melon chopped up to satisfy my sweet tooth. I have 2 x 1lt water bottles filled, already have one gone, last week I barely drank any apart from tea.

I have a family wedding this weekend, so have to be good in the run up to it & after it, because I sure as hell won't be during it, ha ha.

Weather has been miserable here too, just makes you crave stodge doesn't it, I love fidh & chips, that & pizza are two takeaway dinners I miss most:eat:

I got the family recipe book & still havn't got round to reading it. There's a Xmas book out with the purchase of a 12week countdown, I've already bought mine, I should've waited.

So I'm feeling positive for this week. I'm just back from the girls swimming lesson, had a fryup brekkie, have veg soup made for lunch & chicken provencal made for dinner, have a beef chilli made for tomorrow, fruity snaks planned & yogurts. I'll try to keep all the synning for the weekend, I'm staying over in the hotel with my mother & two sisters, so it's gonna be a girly weekend, so looking forward to it. Getting hair & makeup done on Saturday morning, still havn't decided what to wear but luckily I have a few dresses in mind.

How you feeling this week Kay?? Any word on your next operation?
 
Hi Issy,

Well done for doing so well without the help of a group for so long. It really is a struggle to stay motivated when you don't have other people there to support you. I really do miss image therapy now that I cant attend groups which I guess is what is so great about this website. Good luck on reaching goal, I'm sure you'll get there soon :)

Thanks & welcome Lainey :) I was yoyoing trying to do it without Group so I headed back, I need the discipline of someone else weighing me & for the motivation during the hard weeks.

Well the hummus is going down a treat,had it with carrot sticks & a bacon sarnie for lunch.

Have a beef chilli & SW wedges planned for dinner.

Breakfast was cheesy scrambled eggs,beans & wholemeal toast.

Snacks have been two bananas so far & spent 4syns on wholemeal bread for lunch.
 
I'm packing for my weekend away & have an array of dresses to take that I couldn't fit into, some still have tags, I can't decide so I'm taking them all & the sisters will decide for me:D Sooo looking forward to it.

Sorry for the radio silence, been spending valuable time with family & then had a tummy bug!!

Had an absolute brilliant time at the wedding & over the few days I spent away, caught up with family & friends, got pampered, hair, nails & make-up done, felt so comfy in my outfit, got loads of compliments.

Downside is that I ate everything in sight:eat:, ha ha, so now I'm in "damage limitation" mode, didn't manage to make it to group this week as I then had a tummy bug, whole family has got it, think my niece "brought" it home from creche so it's making it's way around everyone. :character00264: Had a sneaky home weigh-in & it looks like I'm a STS at the moment so I'd be happy enough with that on Monday nite :scale:

I've made a cuppa tea, kids are out playing so I'm gonna have a sneaky catch-up on here :coffee: Prefer the laptop to my phone :character00148:

I missed being here. Couldn't really type on my ifone with the false nails on, ha ha.

I'm back on the wagon today. Having a green day.

Breafast : fruit (banana & grapes)

Lunch : spaghetti on toast (2x HeB's)

Dinner : loads of chopped veg, gonna try soya mince for the first time, so God only knows what I'll concoct, might do some sort of pasta bake & use my HeA's of cheese :D

Snacks : Hoops & Crosses 4syns.
 
Sounds like you had a fab time Issy, glad your back, we missed you :bighug: . It's great you've got straight back on it. Your diary looks good. I haven't been feeling too good these past few days. I am going for a scan at the hospital next week. Hope it all goes well. I need to do my food shopping tomorrow so I stay on plan. Will you be going back to group on Monday ?
