It's Now Or Never

Told you there was nothing to worry about :p

Ha ha. I do feel a bit silly now. But it's over thank god. He may not thank me when he's inundated with homework lol
I can't tell you how much of a relief it is. He's in the best place for the next 5 years, it's down to him to make the most of it. :)

P.s the overriding feeling with kids is, you've made the mistakes (well I certainly have) and you just want to protect them from making the same. On the other hand, you want them to live their own lives and live through their eyes, not tainted by everything that it means to be an adult. You can't win, whatever, you just have to be there, support them and hope they get through it all OK.

Bunnies are certainly easier. :)

Well done Beanie for passing - just think though Pinkie, you'll have to go through it again in 5 years when he's doing his GCSE's!!!! :D

Don't know whether you'll get this chica - but just thought I'd pop in and see how you are.
PM me if you do get it and don't want to post on here.

Hello there!!
It has been an extended absence by me, apologies. A lot has been going on, but Beanie and I are fine.
I rejoined SW this week and scarily weighed heavier than ever. But mentally I feel in the right place to do something about it.
Can't edit signature from this phone, so will do so once I've cleaned the office, and uncovered the computer. :)
Hope you're all well xxx

Well hello Pinkie!

Lovely to see a post from you, and to hear that you and Beanie are doing fine xx

Good luck for your new SW journey x

So I've been back on SW two days, and so far so good. Am sticking to EE for now as that worked well for me last time. For my birthday last year I went to a Fat Camp with a friend of mine. It was a fantastic experience, and taught me so much about how much food I really need. They also had some nutrition sessions, which again taught me a lot about the types of food I eat and what is really in them. Consequently, I have avoided sweeteners and low fat goods. So now I'm coupling this along with SW. So that means that I have to count any sugar I put on fruit, and also count the Total full fat Greek yoghurt, rather than going for the zero free version. However, this is no bad thing. The full fat one actually fills me up more and so I don't scoff loads of it (as I would have done with the free version). So helping me with my portion control which has a habit of being out of control - even on SW. Other than that, I'm back on it as normal.
Oh, I've just had my kitchen redone, as part of that I had a Neff Aqua Assist oven put in. It basically adds steam whilst it cooks - so keeps food nice and moist. Also means I don't need to add as much oil, so all fabulously healthy. I can't wait to try out SW potato wedges with it, as they are supposed to work really well. Is taking a bit of trial and error, but am getting there. :)

Thanks Lynne. First day was yesterday and was all good. Just deciding what today's meals will be. Have salmon and veg, may have to serve with rice as have no spuds.
How are you doing?

I'm muddling along, somehow, god knows how, staying within target xxxx

Off to google that oven!

And well done x

Yayyyyyy - Pinkie is back. Lovely to see you chica, and yes I got both of your PMs

Ha ha, now I just sound like a mad stalker!!

Am up nice and early (though 6 is a lie in for me these days). My morning routine contains, amongst other things, clearing out the Bunnery. When I got the kitchen done, I also got old ironwork open stairs replaced with wooden ones and a much needed cupboard underneath. In the dead space under the bottom of the stairs, I had the Bunnery built. It has it's own little door for easy access, but within that a little opening made, a bit like a big mouse hole. I put the buns litter tray and hay in there and seems to be working out really well so far. They (mostly) keep their little poops, and all their wee in the tray, so it's out of the way and not unsightly. The odd poop does escape but it's not a biggie.
So having cleared that out (if I don't do it every day, they get a bit ansy and are more likely to leave little presents elsewhere) I sit in the garden with them for a bit while they mow my lawn. I scratch their back..... :)

Trying to figure out my food plan for today.
This evening we shall have chilli and wedges, so I will use my HexA on a sprinkling of cheese on top. We will pop to the coast, so maybe some skin off fish with mushy peas. I am craving cereal for brekkie, so maybe oats (HexB) with fruit (may use canned and syn it) and Greek yoghurt. After all that I probably have about 7 syns spare. Wonder how many chips I could nick off the Bairn for that?? :)
