It's Now Or Never

Sounds like you had a lovely weekend Pinkie. Well done on the running. What a star. I need a kick up the bum for mine.

Do you ride a motorbike ? I can't remember whether I saw that somewhere on your thread ? (slightly random question I know but there is some thinking behind this somewhere...................!!!)

Thanks Gail. It's just so nice to get outside. Ice been couped up to long over the winter I think. We all have.

I did ride for a while, but gave up after an accident. I decided as much as I loved my bike, I loved my other baby more. Just having my arm in a cast and out of action was disruptive enough. I really miss it all though, not that I was riding all the time. But whenever I see them all going out, particularly on these gorgeous days we're having, I feel like the kid stuck at home while all his mates go and play. I am deferring it till I've got the bairn through his education (can't rely on the dad to help there unfortunately). Then I will be back on. I really want to take a few months out and bike round Europe. :) For now I just watch the bike racing, mostly on the box, but trackside when I can. Do you ride then?

Your weekend sounds great pinkie. You and the bairn are so cute. Glad everyone liked your dinner xxxx

Thanks Jules. Though cute wouldn't have been the word you'd have used when I'm on a Twister mat, @rse up in the air in some very unnatural pose, kid rolling about laughing. :)

Excellent!!

Breakfast:
Mixed fruit, canned prunes (2 syns), branflakes (HEb), low fat natural yoghurt. Cuppa (soya milk from HEa)

Snack:
2 clementines, cuppa (HEa)

Lunch:
Left over veg (carrots, kale & broccoli), gravy (0.5 syns), 3 quorn sausages.
Mixed fruit with shape 0 yoghurt for after.
Cuppa (HEa)

Dinner:
4 king prawns while cooking.
Bacon, tomato and lentil soup.

Snack:
Cheese (HEa)
2 thin slices of ham
1 quorn sausage, sliced and cooked with a chopped plum tomato and egg scrambled.
Another cuppa (HEa).

Made king prawns, with roasted cherry tomatoes, red pepper and chopped garlic, served with bulgar wheat, mixed with spring onions and coriander - should be enough to cover my packed lunches for work this week. Tastes lovely too (from EE book).

Just back from WI, lost 1.5lbs, now passed the one and a half stone mark. Aiming for 2lbs next week.

Woohoo, well done, you are on a roll at the mo' aren't you?! Fantastic xxx

I have actually looked in the thread more than once today... Just tried to plot my average route into Runkeeper and I reckon if I do 2 miles a time I'd be lucky!! Might bite the bullet tho!! x

I'm gonna do it tomorrow, really want that feeling that I had all day last Tuesday when I was wide awake and and alert all day!! Will see if I get any further tomorrow then I may join the fun 100 miles...!! xx

:) Go for it!

Right, just had another bowl of fruit with natural yoghurt. I swear I'm addicted to it.

Might snuggle up in bed now with a book. I'm in the mood for a bit of Tom Holt. Want to know how Sausage got on though....

Woohoo! Well done with your loss! Xx

1.5lb off for me, too!

Yay, well done Pinkie and well done Lil Sausage (although I'll go and post on your thread too).

I asked about the biking because it's something I've always wanted to do (albeit a bit nervously) but have never been prepared to do in case I turn up somewhere and they say, sorry we haven't got any clothes that would fit you. So now that I would fit into the clothes I'm thinking that maybe I will see whether I like it. However have no idea where to start. Whether there are taster days that you can do or what. No rush, I would like to be a bit smaller before I have the courage to do anything about it. Any advice welcome !

How exciting! I have a ZX12 (my uncle handed me the keys when he moved back to Argentina) and, although she only comes out in the summer, (I have a bad knee so riding in the winter is a definite no no) I do love her.
Your first step would be to do a CBT (compulsory basic training) which is like a days training on a small engined bike. That enables you to ride with L plates on a small bike for 2 years. Any time after your CBT you can pit in for you full license. You can. Do intensive (usually 3-5 day) courses with your test at the end.
You should definitely go for your CBT if you're interested! Xx

Sorry but I had to post this - have been in fits watching it. They've done loads of them, and all very non-pc etc I'm sure - but hilarious.

Oh - bad language - so don't watch if offended.

Hitler does Ryan Air.

Haha love it! Just sent it to my bf as we are, of course, travelling by Ryanair this summer. And Easy Jet! Lol! I love how many times people have remade that scene with different comedy subtitles! So true what they say about Ryanair though!

Well done on your loss Pinkie, you're doing really well. Hope you have a brilliant week ahead. And thanks for all the stuff you've posted on my diary for me! :)

And fantastic job on the running, love the sound of this running challenge, are you going to get involved? I think I may! I'm also going to sign up for a Race for Life when I get paid on the 15th. Would be great if we were all doing one! xxxxxx

Where are youuuuuuuuu????? xx
