Izzyhew's dizzy start to diet......

body fat percentage is a really big deal you should be proud. AND your running thing is such an achievement. We all have slow losses from time to time but the real challenge is carrying on which is what your doing :)

25 mins jog is brill, i can do 20 at the most (well i could i havent done it in a while) haha

keep going :D xx

Happy Monday Lovely Izzy!

Well I'm a bit late doing my Diary rounds today (partly because I had to go do a scanbran trip:)) and partly because this stoooopid internet is still playing silly sods with me  I'm on a dongle thing and I keep having to disconnect and reset it for some reason as its freezing up all the time this last 2 days....don't know if its the weather ? I've not had many problems with it since I got the MIFI thing so I could use the tablet or lappy with it.

Anyway, Hope Little Ninja had a fun time at the childminders? great news about the sneakypeak at the scales....and whoop whoop that the bodyfat is still going down :)

I was trying to do a massive long post last night about the time machine, my son when he was 6 (hes 23 now ) went through a phase of taking all the sodding electrical items to bits in secret!!! he tried to build a 'sugar powered time machine' from our video recorder, the hose from the tumble drier and an old bottom from a sunbed that he found in our shed when we moved into our new house lol He was a little monkey - always always building and making something :) xxx

Thanks Brittany, I really recommend the couch to 5k if you wanted to learn to run for longer, if you can do 20 I'm pretty sure you can do 25 it's mostly all in the mind I think.

I managed my 25 minute run today so pleased about that, then because hubby who knows lots about training suggested that my normal breakfast isn't the right thing to eat after training and I would be better to have something protein. So I had 3 boiled eggs mashed up, with my HE grated cheese, 3 slices of lean ham chopped up, some cherry tomatoes, and half a red pepper chopped up, all mixed together in a bowl. It was brunch and it was nice, I'd not want it every day but it made a nice change. I'll need to see what else I can dream up for protein breakfasts on training days, but I have decided that at least once per week I should make it an evening, it's only 9 weeks now until I return to work after which mornings will be difficult so I need to move toward evenings.

this was my brunch

After my brunch I headed over to get my son and visit with my friend only to find I had forgotten to bring his bottle so had to nip home for it, thankfully it's only 5 mins walk so not a big disaster, and extra exercise I guess haha. Anyway had a nice visit after that, then nipped along to the doctors to drop of my.... samples :ashamed0005:

Will hopefully get all the results in time for my appointment on friday.

Sat here watching more Buffy, the boxset is nearly finished I think I only have a few episodes left, Baby playing in the jumperoo and daughter upstairs playing with her cardboard time machine lol.

Soon I need to jump into action and tidy the kitchen, looks like a bomb hit it, and need to start the tea, mince and potatoes with carrots and onions tonight yummy. Syn wise I have had 3 for milk and sugar in tea, and 5 for jaffa cakes. Also had 2 Aldi benefit bars for HEB.

Hi Dizzy, Little Ninja did enjoy his time as he always does but today he only slept for 10 mins in the morning so by the time I got him he was really tired, he had a nice long sleep whilst me and friend had our catch up.

LOL at your son's building sounds like good fun so long as nothing got broken, but I can imagine it wasn't always harmless. What did he grow into? interested to know if he carried on his skills!

No unfortunately it wasn't always harmless  we lost a good video and most of his toys usually ended up as parts for something else along the way lol. At 10 my mum got him loads of bits and he built his own computer ......and it all worked! He got an apprenticeship after school and is now a qualified computer engineer working for the same place that trained him up, they've just promoted him to off site engineer with a company vehicle, I'm so proud of him :) xx

Mm mm had a few. Ahem moments with him along the way ..... Hacked into the school computer and changed all the grades in his class:eek: got banned from a certain internet provider for LIFE at 13 for increasing the bandwidth on the modem or summit??? I do not know to this day what this really means.... But I know its like stealing extra fast internet

BUT I count myself really lucky that tho he was a bugga in some respects.... He's never been any trouble with the law, drugs, drink etc. He was soooo good when I had my ops and couldn't look after mum so much....he used to drive on and make sure she had her shopping and everything. All in all he's turned out a good kid xx

he sounds like he had too much knowledge and needed an outlet, as an adult he has found a legitimite outlet lol!

It's not every lad who would look after their Grandparent too, he sounds like a star xx

tired :(

I fell asleep around midnight but my 8 yr old woke me at 0130 doubled over with stomach cramps, so I had to get up, gave her medicine and a sick bowl and sat with her a while. She said it was ok for me to go back to bed at 2, but I lay awake ages waiting and listening in case she was sick. She's woke up right as rain though, but me sleeeeeeepy!

aw poor baby, and poor you! Hope she takes a nap soon and wakes up happier, it won't make any difference to how tired you are but happy babies are much easier to deal with!

it's hard to keep up with kids, especially small ones lol. I'm dreading how bad it will be once I am back at work and hoping my hubby gets his promotion so I can have 1 day off a week lol. They aren't very speedy with their decisions tho :(

hope they make a decision soon then! when do you go back? xxx

my official return date is 19th August but I am using 2 weeks leave so won't actually go back until 2nd september. This way I get 50% wages in August without doing any work lol, and I have my full holiday entitlement to use before the end of the year so it works out for them as well for me to use some before I go back. 9 weeks, which sounds like a long time but it's passing too fast!
