Izzyhew's dizzy start to diet......

sounds lovely texty, enjoy x

Thanks Brittany :) I have subscribed to your diary, but haven't had time to read yet! I am finding this to be a minimins drawback, so many lovely stories and I want to read them all, with a curious compulsion to want to read from page one, which is ok with the shorter ones, but some are hundreds of pages long! I think I need to admit I just can't read them all, or read one at a time and just jump in at the end of the others.

I wasn't around much yesterday, but everything is fine still.

I had fruit for breakfast

bacon, egg, frylighted onions, small slice toast and beans for lunch

sticky chicken with rice, carrot and brocolli for tea

alpen bar, cheesy crackers, hot choc, yeo valley 0% vanilla yog (which is lovely)

I also managed to do my week 3 session 2 of couch 2 5k :) My next session will be harder as it is Saturday night and I always find it easier by day. Next week I will only be able to do evenings, so I'm not sure how realistic the jump to week 4 is as it goes from 3 mins jogging to 5, and I already feel at my limit. I am unsure what to do, on the one hand I didn't think I would manage week 3, but I did, so who am I to say I won't manage week 4 (yet) perhaps I should just go for it with PMA. On the other hand it seems a good mind trick to set yourself up for a win, so perhaps aiming a little lower and running for 4 mins should be my target. OOOh I just don't know lol.

I just know that with hubby's shifts next week I will find it hard going, I could do it during the day but that would mean sharing my secret and I don't want to! I am hoping though if I continue losing weight the running will also become easier.

Plans for today.... already had fruit for breakfast, going to have small slice of toast with yesterdays left over beans

lunch, not sure yet

tea frittata

Happy Friday miniminners!

Well done with your weight loss. How good is it to sort things out. Loved that text. Now the wall is built in my garden I can sort out some of the rest. Bit of body magic there. I don`t think I can jog but could do a few steps or maybe walk a bit faster. My friend off hols tomorrow and we usually walk a little every day but she does not really want to walk fast. Right -what I could do is see how far I can jog up the road, then walk back. Won`t be a lot but it is a start.

Keep up your good work

I'm sure that would be great for your health Doreen, You might find as time passes you can manage to jog a little further, and still walk back. Gardening is hard work, I don't like it :(

yesterday managed to get my living room all sorted again, all dusted and hoovered and baby stuff all tidied, why is housework always so temporary? it never lasts :( My back was better yesterday didn't feel it at all but I can feel it niggling a little today...

I suspect I will be tested today as it is the weekend and due to my daughter getting herself grounded last week she is not allowed out to play until tomorrow so she will likely spend the day trying to drive me insane, on top of that my sneaky midweek weigh shows a sts :cry:However last weeks midweeker showed 1/2 and had trippled by weigh day so time will tell.

I forgot that I had designated Friday as chocolate day and had eaten all my syns, so chocolate day was postponed for today :) so later on I will likely take the kids out a walk and stop off for my chocolate bar on the way home, no point buying these things in advance as I just eat them, i will also pick up another tub of the yeo valley 0% vanilla yog because I LOVE IT.

I have had a banana so far today, will probably have some more fruit this morning, and will have the rest of the tomato and lentil soup I made yesterday for lunch. Stir fry to tea tonight :)

Hope everyone has a nice weekend x

I have been productive this morning, got around to making a batch of burgers to put in the freezer, and made some mince and veg baby food for the little one, had run out of his other stuff only have chicken dinners left for him in freezer, poor boy can't only have that!

Have had a banana, a pear and an alpen bar so far, decided that the soup alone won't be enough for lunch so I have a baked potato in the oven, got a while yet to decide on filling.... bacon, onion with cheese and salsa/cheese onion and salsa/beans/tuna..... decisions decisions.......

I had cheese (HE), onion and salsa (1/2 syn) it was yum!

I changed my mind about the stirfry for tea and made beef curry (used cornflour 2syn) and sw chips. I didn't eat it all so wouldn't have been the full 2syns.

Daughter today actually was pretty good and didn't drive me nuts :) and she prefers sw chips to normal ones bless lol.

I have had my weekly chocolate, a dairy milk bubbly (10.5syn)

I was thinking earlier a while ago I would have demolished a choc bar on the way home from the shop and probably hardly got the enjoyment from it, but not now, I brought it home and it stayed in the fridge until the kids were in bed so I got peace to enjoy it!

I love my husband, but hate his metabolism.... so far this evening he has eaten a huge stirfry, my left over curry, and half a baguette with cheese, and I don't doubt he will still be hungry. He remains lean and superfit.

in addition I attempted the mushy pea curry sauce today - didn't like it, so wasted my can of tomatoes sob

I've seen loads about that on here but have never tried it, I've always been a bit sceptical...even more so now! Think I'll give it a miss.

Glad you enjoyed your chocolate fix. I know what you mean about savouring your treats more now x

I confess to being a serial weigher, but I know it is fruitless, yesterday was sts, but today was just over 1/2lb down yay! I will be happy enough if that stretches to 1lb for wednesday.

In addition to the mountain of food I listed that hubby ate last night, he also had a pizza  and I definitely wouldn't bother with the mushy pea curry, I went back to making it the way I always have which is to cook the meat/onions/whatever in a little spray oil, then add a heaped teaspoon of curry powder and two level tea spoons of corn flour, mix to coat everything in the powder/flour, slowly add stock always stirring until consistency is right, add a splodge (which *is* a technical term lol) of tomato puree. I have given up on finding a free one but that was only 2 syns, could have got away with 1 syn as I made too much.

Today... the sun is shining, and we need to get the caravan which is parked in our drive checked out because we are selling it, slightly sad but it just isn't getting used enough to justify having it, and won't be really for a few years so we have decided it has to go. This time of year is supposed to be quite a good time to sell so we need to get a move on.

Fooood, I will have fruit and yeo valley yog (3syns worth) for breakfast, Cottage pie with HE cheese for tea, not sure about lunch but I might have some pasta.

Lastly for this entry, I hate the way my body doesn't work properly :( last week when i thought my period had arrived it didn't amount to very much and was very light, and now I am having the crampy pains again, which means I will probably get my proper one now. It's often like this, I can come on and be quite light for 2 weeks and then have proper one. Sorry for the tmi, but welcome to the world of wonky ovaries. This is one of my motivations because I know that weight effects it and they work more normally when I am lighter. I am very fortunate to have been able to have my 2 children as I only ovulate sometimes. Although I am convinced that the 2 st I lost (to get to 12st 4) before my son was conceived is what did it :)

Sorry to hear you're not feeling great. I know how it feels to be stuck with a 'faulty' body though so you have my sympathies.

I might try your recipe, thanks for sharing.

Have a lovely day, I'm sure sorting the caravan out will be some good Body Magic xx

Faulty bodies are just not fair Bev :(

on a positive note tho, tortilla pizza for lunch with tomato puree, onion, peppers, bacon, HE cheese, jalapenos, 8 syns of yumminess, hubby demolished one too, will definitely be making again!

Popping in the subscribe :D

Shame the mushy pea curry was no good, been meaning to try it again myself. I -think- I liked the taste before but the idea of it is somewhat offputting lol

I've had the same probs with dodgy ovaries, though I use Implanon now and they've disappeared altogether which is part blessing part worry as it doesn't feel 'normal' though the contraception nurse tells me it's common and nothing to worry about :( I've got one son from a prev relationship but would like to have more with my current O/H, hopefully as you say getting the weight off makes a big difference :)

Glad you enjoyed the tortilla pizza, sounds lush  x

Thanks for popping over :)

with both my children it took 20 months to get pregnant, but I am lucky it did happen. I am annoyed looking back though because I had gone to the Docs once years ago saying I thought I had pcos and she basically sent me away without any examination or blood test being done. it too me being over 35 and trying to get pregnant over a year (for my 2nd) before they took some blood (obvious hormonal issues there) and sent me to the fertility clinic where a scan showed I was right. I have opted for the copper coil for contraception now as it has no hormones and I want to see what my body is doing, my cycle is a good indicator of my health (or lack thereof....) The coil also has the bonus of me not having to remember to do anything about it for 5 years :)

The pizza was really lovely, has to be kept for a low syn day though, 8 is a lot for a meal however if you really like pizza it's worth it! A really great substitute, I will probably load it with even more toppings next time to make it more substantial.

Hmmm well, hubby has said that he is going training on tues and thurs morning, so my plan for training couch to 5k is now; tomorrow night complete week 3, tues and thurs morning do sessions 1 and 2 of week 4, and if I feel up to it 3rd session of week 4 on Sat night but if not I will do it next week, only supposed to do 3 sessions per week anyway!

I just hope I can manage week 4, but if not I will just do what I can :)

The tortilla pizza sounds good. I tried it once before and it didn't go crispy so when I took it out of the oven it flopped over and all the topping fell off!! Any idea what I might have done wrong?

Sounds like a good plan for continuing c25k, I'm loving your determination!
