JanD into the third year of maintenance :-D

Lovely to have you back Jan and glad you had a good time. Those temperatures you had sound great to me, love it when it's really hot.

Shame about the delay home though, that's awful when that happens. Was it cos of any strikes or just a plain old delay?

Welcome back, good to hear u had a great time x x

It was a problem with one of the wheels on the plane Bev :(. They knew about it and even sent out an engineer on the same plane to fix it over there, but he couldn't. They had to get another plane which had to come from Heathrow  x

Welcome back Jan, glad you had a good time. Such a shame about the long delay though, but at least you are home safe and sound. The temps sounds fabulous.

Have you recovered from the delay yet hun?

More or less thanks Mary :) ... thrust back in at the deep end with baby-sitting etc I've just had to get on with it and, like everybody else feels soon after a hol - almost like I've never been away! LOL!

I've eaten for England for the last 2 days but have started back on track (hopefully) now I'm back in work. I've brought a mrb and 2 boiled eggs. I'm not feeling the strong resolve though so fingers crossed it comes over me in the night ;)

Only 4 more sleeps for you eh? :D xx

Ah good luck for getting through the night, you might surprise yourself! :)

Glad you have almost recovered etc. No holiday blues?! xx

Thanks I have a feeling I'll need that luck ... no 'blue's' as yet! ... Maybe that delay just made me glad to get home :) xx

You'll get back aboard when you're good n ready :)

How's your first night back at work going?xx

Slooooooooooooowly!!!!! xx

You'll get back in the swing of things soon enough. Just such a shock to come back to reality after a really good holiday isn't it?

Bet you have had a lovely sleep today after your first night back!?
Did you manage ok through the night food wise?x

It certainly is Bev!

I did have a lovely sleep. I had to set my alarm as I was minding a grandson for an hour from 6.30 - think I would have slept on otherwise!
I did manage through the night just except for a slice of roast beef and a little chunk of chicken breast but I still think that's good! I also had a banana at mum's this morning but compiared to the last 3 and a half weeks that's brilliant ;)

Thursday 22nd Sept

Banana at mum's

Breakie - Banana mousse

Bed

Tea - Salad with a tin of pilchards in tomato sauce

Nectarine
slice ham
piece of smoked mackeral (all these because I was home alone .. DUR!)

Work - mrb & 2 boiled eggs. xx

Brilliant night then Jan :) xx

Not perfect but a hell of a lot better than I have been & I'm happy with that for a start :) x

.... but it didn't last :( .....

Just had a piece of bread with utterly butterly & jam and a Choc chip brunch bar .... so much for getting off to a good start! x

and a piggin' crunchie :( x

Welcome back Jan :) Don't worry about last night- it is probably going to take a little while to get back into the swing of things. Glad you had such a wonderful time x

Thats not too bad Jan! It can take a while for us to get back into the swing of it.

Is it this monday you are weighing yourself or next?
If its next maybe thats why your still relaxed - don't beat yourself up about it though :) x

Thanks guys ... it's this monday coming I'm weighing. I don't know what's happened - I found the plot but only managed to hang on to it for about 24 hours! :(
I've been shocking - at mum's and at home this morning AND since getting up tonight ..... gotta get a grip though - really gotta!!! Not looking forward to those scales but it's got to be done or this'll never stop! xx

The scales might give you the nudge? Thats if you have a gain!

xx
