Breakie - choccie mousse
half a banana
Lunch - Tesco mrb
banana
2 slices turkey ham & 3 'squidges' of grated 'Ican'tbelieveit'snotcheddar' cheese
Tea - veg stir fry, done in 'cuisine' with soy sauce. Really didn't feel like anything but had this when did DH's tea as I'm on the V&Cs xx

Latest doggie pic. I sent it off to my friend in Tintagel and have heard today that she's thrilled with it which is very gratifying so now I can share it .... now I'm working on the one I'm getting paid for .... can't believe how scary that is!!!! xx

Edit - had the carvery tonight ... slice turkey, slice gammon, 3 roasties, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower cheese & gravy x

Love DD's new GF .... Best so far - not least because she knows how to butter one up by bringing flowers
Had Carbonara with garlic bread & ice cream to follow ..... HAVE to be good at work this week .... it's in work I'll have to be doing the catching up this week instead of catching up from work ifkwim!! xx

Have I missed a post somewhere Jan as I don't remember you saying that DD had split up with her last gf? I remember there being something happening between them etc and you didn't know what it was but can't recall you ever saying they'd split?

No you've not missed anything Tan - but top marks for noticing the missing links ... It's been very awkward with her last GF being my friend's daughter and it all got very nasty between them but to cut a long, complicated and not very pleasant story short, they split, DD moved back here - they've actually both met other people but there's been bad feeling all round.
My friend and I have risen above it all and remain friends (this is the monthly 'jealous of my weight when we go out for a meal' friend) but tbh I almost wanted her to say something as she's sent very nasty texts to my daughter and obviously part of me wants to be the defending mother, but I was never going to bring it up.
Anyhoo - for now everything's fine. As for the future ... we'll see. But tbh losing the 'friend' wouldn't be that much of a loss ... I have better friends .... really sorry if that sounds horrible but she has been a bit of a disappointment to me recently. People are telling me she's a hanger on and just 'wants to be me' ..... I have to say she does copy lots of things I do - she's even started going to my art group albeit on a different day.
But maybe I'm being nasty - there are 2 sides to every story .. some would say there are 3 sides, my side, her side and the truth xxxxxx maybe one day we'll know xxx
