JanD into the third year of maintenance :-D

Yup, how long will it take for the results? Hopefully it hurries up for you all :) x

She has her echo a week tomorrow - I assume it'll be after that she'll see someone ... ? Feels like ages since this all kicked off - it's not good really all this wasted time is it!?!

Food deteriorated with a vengeance in the night and this morning .... bread, jam, peanut butter, chocolate, biscuits, toast, toast and then more toast .... :(

Since I got up I've had quorn stew with cauli & leek & a satsuma. I've brought some left over stew and 2 boiled eggs to work.

Felt like a proper mum tonight. DS has gone to Nottingham overnight & he'd gone when I got up so I bathed the boys, fed them, did their packed lunches for tomorrow, got their uniforms ready, wrapped christmas presents for their Daddy with them while some washing was on. Then after they went to bed wrapped some more presents - I was glad to come to work for a rest!! :D

Haven't got the energy for all this these days ;) xx

It all goes to show what a brilliant Mum you are!!

Hope your daughters results come through quickly after the echo.

That was one busy day, made me feel tired and I run round after an almost 3yr old everyday :) x

How'd your night at work go?
You sounded super busy yesterday no wonder you were glad to go to work for a rest! :giggle:

how was wi?

xx

Thanks for all the kind words girls :)

I didn't wi - it actually didn't even occur to me. John woke me at 5pm with a coffee asking what was for tea!
The boys had a school disco tonight which nobody knew about till they came home so it was a bit of a rush - it was on the table by 6.10 though :)
AND I'd gone to bed late because I had to change mum's bed before I came home this morning - we thought my sister & BIL were coming tomorrow from cyprus but it's tonight and they sleep in her bed.

I've gained - I know I have. I'm very uncomfortable and i know it'll hit home in the morning because I've washed my jeans so am unlikely to be able to do them up very easily first time!! ;)

Still .... I'm just trying to tread water at the moment (though not succeeding most of the time) but will HAVE to set to and sort things in the new year - I am NOT going to the Maldives feeling like this!!!

Having said that we are going out for a meal tomorrow - I'm taking little Ted (3 yr old GS) to toddler group in the afternoon and seeing his brother Sam for his birthday when he gets home from school. DH is meeting me at their house and we're going to have a bite to eat quietly and on our own, on our way home.

I'm enjoying a nice bottle of Pinot tonight as well ;) If i don't have anything else tonight (unlikely ) I'll have just had the wine, a piece of salmon, roasted butternut squash and a spoonful of chinese style savoury rice. xx

LOL cheek of DH to wake and ask whats for tea! :giggle: what are men like!!

Hope you enjoy your bite to eat tomorrow & sam has a lovely birthday :)

Good idea to re-assess come the new year. It's such a struggle this time of year isnt it :sigh:

and jeans, straight from the wash are horrible arent they! I like to wear them around the house with bit hoody on to cover the muffin top for a few hours before going out in them - loosen em up a bit! :giggle: xxx

Enjoy your wine and hope it relaxes you a bit.

Lol! Good idea! I'd put 'em on now but I quite like the idea of breathing for the rest of the evening ;) xx

Thanks Molly ... it is! ;) xx

Crumbs Jan, I dont have the excuses you have at the moment. I am sure you can get back to thinking in a different way once DD has been seen by the people in the know, plus with all the activity in your house at the moment, it cant be easy.

Hang in there chick, the right time will come.

You have got so much on your plate at the moment I wouldn't even be thinking about food if I was you. It would be the last thing I would be worried about.

Like you say, come New Year you can sort any extra weight out and as we all know, if anyone can, you can!!

It's a deal!!! ;)

Had weetabix etc for breakie, a bacon muffin for lunch with butter & light mayo, various christmassie bits at toddler group - little mince pies, father xmas biscuits, a tiny fairy cake with icing & a jelly xmas tree. 3 choc orange sweets at my son's then in the Harvester I had sausage & mash with gravy. Before that I had the salads I don't normally have ie coleslaw & potato salad as well as beetroot, sweetcorn etc and I had a roll & 2 butters.
What annoys me is all the time I'm eating this I'm thinking how uncomfortable I am and how i must do something about it and what on EARTH am I going to wear for my jury service in january and how much can i lose in 2 weeks after xmas so that i can wear anything i've got ..... I SOOOOO annoy myself!! :( xx

Still having my v&cs though ;) xx

I'm hanging - I'm hanging!!!
