No we aint split up yet. it might have been a bit touch&go for the past month or so but I'm too stubborn for that haha! I'm working on ignoring the negatives [forgetfullness!] and focus on the positives, like the Hollyoaks marathon with a bacon sarnie and a cuppa in bed *smug*
My weekend has been pretty good. Not so good food wise but not too bad either.
Saturday, I was up at 5am with the dogs, the terrier just won't rest at the moment so she scrabbles at the doo, which is right outside my room. So I got up and sat through in the living room with the mutts and watched a couple of episodes of Bad Girls. This meant that I justified having a bacon sanger at 6am then an egg buttie at 10..
Lunch, I have no idea what I had, I just can't remember now.... I had a text off Biker Boy saying did I want to go for a walk cos it was a nice day, and I'd said yes, but I'd be over after lunch... After lunch turned out to be gone 3 by the time I got there, it did him good to wait haha. We went down to Deeside and had a walk about along the river, which was beautiful. With the exception of the frogs. There was about a 500m stretch of the walk which the path was covered in frogs, half of which were alive and crawling, hopping about, the other half had perished, seemingly in the heat of the sun, or had been squished by bikes or stuff It was quite disturbing, seeing so many dead frogs... You're talking hundreds here, I think. A couple hundred at least. I was starting to get choked up, but it's just nature innit.. Can't save them all..
Then we went back to his town and he dropped me off at his, and went "somewhere"... and came home with a heap of indian and a few bottles of grown-up drinks. He said I wasn't to worry about the calories etc cos he's heard that if it's a treat and someone else buys it without you knowing, then the calories go to them, not me. haha! He also said that he chose the healthier options where he could... And he had! He'd got the tandoori chicken, plain rice... not sure how the paratha fitted in, but I only had a teeny bit of that And the cider. I had too much cider, and was asleep 5 minutes into Armageddon. But still managed to wake up in time for Bruce to save the world. At which point, I started blubbing...!
Todays food has been fine, not gone over
Made a lovely salad for lunch tomorrow - Lettuce, cucumber, tomato, gherkin, smoked bavarian ham apparently, salad cream and some black pepper for good measure.
Cant wait til lunchtime tomorrow!!!!
