Hope you feel better soon Chicklet
know what you mean with worrying about things though
my dad is diabetic and last blood test I had was told I was bordering
on having high blood sugar levels

Thanks :) :)
I'll be fine in a couple of days.

Update on the food:
Breakfast Pt.I - Special K Creamy Berry Crunch, 125ml Milk and a banana - [5]
Breakfast Pt.II - Beans on toast - [4]
Lunch - Pasta and pesto - [4]
Tea will be roast lamb and veggies. Dad's making it now. If I have a couple of small slices, and 4 potato croquettes, that's 6 points, plus some carrot :)

Hope you're Monday is a little bit more chilled out Jen!
Well done for avoiding the chocolate chicky and I'm impressed with the Wii fit and Just ance action - getting some serious action pointage!

Cheers girlies!! :D

It all got way too tempting last night. That egg. That lindor chocolate egg, sitting there on the desk. Staring at me. Willing me to eat it... And all those mini ones peaking out from underneath the big one, squeaking "eat me, Jenny, eat me, eat me, EAT ME!!!"

So I got in the car, and drove as quickly and as far away as I could. Didn't even knock when I got to Biker Boys house, just walked in and gave him his egg :) All intact. I hadn't scoffed one bit of it. :D He was most impressed!
He then went into the hallway, got the stepladders, went up in the loft and got me down a Rolo egg... We shared a pack of rolos last night, and then I brought the egg home. The second pack of rolos is at his, with strict instructions that we're going to share them next time I'm round :)
He had half his egg and a few of the mini truffles. And said with complete disappointment "I don't suppose I should eat the whole thing, should I." No dear, you might be a bit sick.... lol

Today, I'm well focussed!

Again, I have eaten loads...

Breakfast - Beans on toast and a poached egg. Brain not in gear, that was a huge breakfast! [5.5]
Lunch - WW Chicken Soup, 2 ryvitas and a spreading of light Philly [3.5]
Tea - Quorn bolognese and a bread roll [7]
Snacks - 1/4 an egg, 1 banana, a yogurt, an options hot choc and a pack of crisps [10]

That's 26 :)

And I had 1/4 of the chocolate egg when I got in from work and it was beautiful! 4 points, and I am satisfied for the chocolate fix.. Who thought it possible... I promised him I wouldn't scoff it all down in one, so is two ok? haha. I don't like it being there. Just knowing that it is in the house makes me WANT chocolate. I think I might have to eat it all tonight, and then cut back on points in the week.

I actually stopped at the gym on the way to his house yesterday and picked up my membership card... haha. It's taken me 2 months to do so, but hey ho. We're there! It's a pay-as-you-go thing. I guess I had better kinda start paying and going.. The woman on reception said she admired my honesty at coming in and saying "I lost my bottle but I'm gonna have another go"... Suggested that I get a program set up with one of the personal trainers, but I said I'd better start small and just actually turn up for a session first.!

And I weighed in today, I am down a further 4lbs, making it 8lbs in three weeks. At flipping last! And ... I don't feel like I have deprived myself, I haven't felt starving hungry at all. Granted, I have felt peckish, and had a rumbly tummy, but that's down to bad planning I think. Dunno what happened, but somehow I must have had the kick up the bum that I needed..!!! And honestly, I couldn't have got back on the right track without you lot and all your support, you all rock and I wish we could all go for a drink to celebrate ace people :)

I've never officially had a "silver 7" before..!!!!
x

Well done lovely, you have done so well!

Well done on the 4 lbs hun, keep going as you are and you'l be a skinny mini in no time!

Goood for you gettin back into gym mode.....!!..xx

I find it helpful, yeah, mainly because I sit with it open in the background at work, and it's easier for me than the heap of post-it notes that I used to have stuck to my desk to keep writing food on.. haha. It's good for me to have all the recipes on there too, and I really like that you can build your own recipes, but I guess that's the geek in me!!

I think the online thing is ace for tracking, but it's the focus that makes you track, regardless of whether it's on paper, in a book, on a site.

And I think the push I needed was the Polish Playboy comment... So I owe the bimbo that at least... haha.

I think at the moment the online subscription is something like £40 for 3 months, then £10 each month after that. That's the scheme I signed up for, which does sound like a lot of money tbh, but when I added up how much I would spend going to class, then it works out better. You get the forums too, but they aren't a patch on here in my honest opinion. And for some inane reason, the tracker on there does not have all the Weightwatchers products listed, which is mightily annoying.

I had a heap of biscuits last night while watching a DVD. So, I have 6 points to make back this week, which is fine. I can do that today with the Ready Meal plan!

Breakfast - Cereal [3]
Morning Snack - Banana + yogurt [2.5]
Lunch - Asda Tandoori Chicken thing... Not quite sure what it is, but it micros for 6 minutes, so bad luck to everyone else in my office who needs the microwave today :p [5]

That totals 10.5, leaving 16.5 for tea and stuff, and making back what I overspent yesterday. Easy pickins!

No idea for tea - Apparently I am getting chicken wings in hot sauce tomorrow :O

X

HUGE well done on the loss Jen! You're a little star! I hope you're pleased with yourself.
The online WW thing sounds good - these things do help you to stay focused. I like it on here too much though already - I'd never get any work done!

Minor update.... I don't really have much to report other than I DID SOME GARDENING...

I have now
*clawed back all my points that I overspent at the beginning of the week!!
*had prawns
*applied for a couple of new jobs
*put a project plan in place for the renovation of the house [don't ask... out of 8 rooms, we have 8 to do something with :(]
*made some low point cookies :)
*been decidedly less psycho-Jenny this month... noticeably too apparently!

Tomorrow's plan for food is:
Breakfast - bacon sarnie [5]
Lunch - Falalafel and pitta, with some salad [6]
Tea - leftover prawn stirfry [5]
And no doubt some snack-olas in between..!

Have a great day tomorrow people, I am off to bed now :) x

Haha, glad I inspired you :D
Mine aren't homemade, I'm ashamed to say.. Cauldron ones... They smell niiiice though!! Oh! And your green sevens are blueeee!! Purdy, I like them!!

We're already slightly deviating from the plan - there was no bread at home so I had a bacon pitta, which did NOT fill me up so I have just had a bowl of special K at work.... Oops.

Should still be within my points though, I shall point it in a moment

Have a smashing day people! It's all grey again up Aberdeen way. knew the sun was too good to last..!

:D its an on off kinda day here in Laandann if it makes you feel any better chick
can't make up its mind if the sun is in our out but it's quite warm so thats not to bad :)

I do love a Falalfal I do :D
I've had a small tin of chickpeas sitting in my cupboard for the best part of 3 months now and can't decided between making oil free humungous or Falalfal
decisions decisions

and can't decided between making oil free humungous or Falalfal

This made me proper giggle! Humungous! Love it.

I heart falafel. So much so that I ate it 3 times a day at glastonbury. Ha. I absolutely stank of falafel when I finally got home (don't ask).

2 things - firstly, Jenny, how do the Cauldron ones work out points wise please? I don't have a calculator and I don't want to buy em if they're a bit hardcore pointage. Secondly - recipe anyone? I'm liking the sound of homemade ones!

Hope you're having a fabulous Friday Jen :)

The Cauldron ones I have were 8 Organic Falafels in a box, they were quite small and round, I had 4 a serving, and they were 1 point each, or 3.5 for the 4.
And definitely very filling :)

The recipe I used to use is:

1 x 400g can of Chickpeas
1 x garlic clove
1 x tsp cumin
1 x tsp coriander
2 x tbsp plain flour
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 x red onion, finely chopped
large handful of fresh parsley

I suppose the onion could be a brown/white one, but I only ever use red ones :p
I guess the spices are kinda variable too. :)

1 - Rinse and drain the chickpeas, then pat with a paper towel.
2 - Bung it all in a blender/food processor thing with whatever seasoning you fancy - Salt and Pepper for me. Blend away til it is quite smooth and looks like it could be made into burgers.
3 - Shape into however many bits you want - Makes 4 decent sized burgers, or 8 mini ones quite comfortably!
4 - fry in frylight for about 3 minutes either side, until golden, or bake in the oven for 20 minutes[ish]

I work out the whole recipe to 10 points, on the calories and fat that I have per serving, but in the recipe it says "serve with a pitta and salsa", I dont know if the pitta is included in the calorie count. Probably not for that low an amount!
I never made this yet while I have been on WW - The tin of chickpeas is 7 points, and the rest is 0 except the flour... 2 tbsp flour anyone??

I know, it's just something about purple food, isn't it!!

Somehow, I have been roped into making steak burritos for tea tomorrow. Not the most point-friendly of dinners, but cereal for breakfast and lunch should allow for it!! :)

Have a great weekend people :D xx

I definitely recommend getting steak bits to put in burrito/fajita thingummys.... Oh... My.... word.... I could have that 7 days a week!

The burritos, were surprisingly good!! I was impressed with myself! Of course, as usual, just as I was away to start dishing up, his phone rang, and he was on the phone to his dad for half an hour. Cue me pacing up and down the kitchen wondering what to do, do I start making the burritos, or just dump the lot in front of him, or what? WHAT DO I DOOOO?? haha. Then I got mad at waiting haha, made 6 burritos, and they were cold by the time we got round to eating but... BUT! Oh so good!

Definitely going to make those again. We were both stuffed after 2, as well. So much for "recipe serves 2 people"... And we're both greedy guts, so who knows how two normal people would get on with that recipe!

Then on Sunday, it was a case of watching hollyoaks, and then he disappeared on his phone outside.
Jenny looks somewhat like this when he returns o_O

Biker Boy - "Fancy going on a road trip?"
Jenny - "Yeah ok, where to?"
Biker Boy - "You'll have to drive..."
Jenny - "What? Why?"
Biker Boy - "cos if I drive and I buy the car I wanna look at, then you'll have to drive my [scary fast turbo'd up] car back down the road and you don't like it"
Jenny - "DOWN the road.. that means North. There isn't anything North...."
Biker Boy - "pweeeeaaaasseeeee????"
Jenny - "*sigh* oh ok, where to?" [We have an agreement in that because I drive to his at weekends, he generally speaking drives at the weekends if we go anywhere]
Biker Boy [staring at the floor] - "... erm... Inverness?"

Inverness is 90 miles from his place.

That was further than I have ever driven.. Ever... I drove from his to Inverness and back, and then back home. Then today, to work and back, and I have never felt so funny in my eyes... its weird! Anyway, he has a new car now, well an old one, to tinker with. So long as he's happy! And it was a nice day, for being stuck in a car for 5 hours... haha.

He got chinese on the way home... I didn't care, points wise. I got sweet n sour chicken balls, and nicked half of his spare ribs.... Putting it in the points tracker, I still had 8 points left by the end of yesterday... Oh well! If I'd have known that, I would have had chocolate too haha :flirt2:

Today!!
Breakfast - Special K [3]
Lunch - cous cous which was rank and I will not be having THAT one again.. [4]
Tea - beans and mushrooms on toast [4]
Snacks - banana and a yogurt, bag of snack a jacks [gone off these now. Hurrah!] and a galaxy caramel [9]

Total so far: 20 and 7 left. I could have quite comfortably gone without the caramel, and the cous cous was not worth 4 points. It was a cup-a-soup style one, rather disappointing!

Lost 1lb today, which is fine after that late night chinese scoffing and steak and cheese at the weekend! That's 9lbs in a month :)

Christ, it's 8pm and I'm about ready to head to bed...!!!x

Haha, I just read that back, and it's like "burrito...burrito...burrito...burrito...burrito..."

How many times can you say that fast?! :p

Haha! I likeee.

Burritos....falafel......food sounding yumscious. Lovely stuff.

Well done you on the driving - that's pretty brave and v nice girlfriendy-type thing to do. Not surprised your eyes were a bit funny afterwards.

Chinese sounds lush Jen and to be fair, another 1lb down. Can't argue with that! Well done you!
