My afternoon wasn't too bad, Kally :)
But...
Then I went to Weigh In and put on 2 lbs.
I got mad at myself.
I came home mad.
I ate food.
I didn't even taste it, it just went in the gob.
I had a bowl of special K
I had more cheese on toast
I had another sodding cardboardy snack a jack

I DON'T EVEN LIKE THEM!!

I feel stuffed, as in my tummy feels completely and uncomfortably full, but at the same time I do not feel like I have eaten a thing. I think this is because I ate standing up pacing round the kitchen [activity points??? No, didn't think so!]

But what's done is done. I'm going to drive to the nearest foresty bit, and head out for a walk, now. And get a notebook for my thoughts and have a think. Then get petrol, and get some vegetables at Tescos. Some free ones. I don't mean 5 finger discount, I mean zero point veggies...

To be fair, I did have takeaway on wednesday, I had a huge meal out on friday, and lunch out on friday, and I've been eating an awful lot of cheese. Way too much cheese...

BUT! The day has been an ok day, in the main. :) Got a phonecall about another potential job, which is 30 minutes from home, 1 hr 10 from Bikers, and a heck of a payrise... So... I said yeah, I wanna go forward for that.

:)

Regarding the cheesiness...

Decision Made...

Official challenge - No cheese in May.

This means -
* No cheese sandwiches
* No cheese on toast
* No pizza
* No cheese on pasta
* No mozzarella stuffed chicken
* No lasagne
* No macaroni cheese
* No cheese in Fajitas
* No cheesecake

Can you think of anything else?

I will still allow myself the use of philadelphia but ONLY in sauces, like carbonara and creamy mushroom pasta. Hmm..

Hehe, I luv your wee challenges Jen!!! Good luck with it.....xxxx

Regarding the cheesiness...

I love this - like being in a proper meeting about 'dealing with the cheese situation'!!!! Hahaha!

Good luck with the challenge Jen - sounds good to me. I might set myself summat similar! But I'm not sure I have as much willpower as you showed with the choccy challenge earlier in the year!

Thanks :) I'm quite motivated for it, though I think I might have to have a big fat pepperoni pizza before May officially starts, cos I have been wanting one ALL day. Since I woke up. Serious...

I'm ditching chocolate too, I think. Chocolate in bar, cake, and ball form. And no, that doesn't mean I can just melt it and drink it though the idea did cross my mind..

My eyes are so tired/sore today, it's not good.!

So far we have had poached eggs on toast, a toffee yogurt and a banana for breakfast.

Lunch today was a pitta bread with a prawn salad. Salad consists of some pepper, spring onion, lettuce, tomatos and cucumber I think, it was half 5 this morning when I was chopping, it could have had anything in it... And a squirt of salad cream with about 100g of prawns.

Tea will be interesting..! I have chicken defrosting in the fridge and I intended to make a thai green curry with it. Except that I have broccoli, carrot and cauli to use up before it starts decomposing. And some potatoes. So ... I might marinate the chicken in a peri peri thing and have that with the aforementioned veg.

Who knows.

Or, given the day I am having, I may get a fat-pizza on the way home. Which will be in about an hour I reckon.

OOH BRAINWAVE! I could put the peri-peri chicken on a margherita, couldn't I... Hmmmmm! ;)

Naughty naughty!

Look look LOOK! Not a stuffed-crust in sight!!!!

:D

it was pretty good too, scrummy, one might say! ;)

Well done on avoiding the stuffed crust Jen - you should feel mighty proud of yourself. And your tea looks yummy - spesh the potatoes. Yummilicious.

Well done Jen, your willpower is growing....you can cope without the fat pizza and will feel an awful lot better for not having it!!!

Have a great wed xxxx

Too right, I do actually feel loads better for the avoidance of pizza :) Big proud grins here, haha! And I must admit a growing fondness for potatoes... I used to have pasta with everything, but the BikerBoy years have lead to a growing appreciation for rice based dishes [ie CURRY] and, of course, mince & tatties... haha :D

Today we have a rigid plan! I do feel less chunky today. That's a good thing I think :)

Breakfast - poached eggs on toast [4.5]
Lunch - 2 pittas with leftover peri peri chicken [total 7.5]
Ok, I admit, I just like saying peri-peri... haha
Tea - 60g pasta, a tin of tuna and half a jar of WW pasta sauce, I think its the mozarella and rocket one I have [5]
Snacks planned so far - velvet crunch 1 and a strawberry WW fromage frais 0.5

Total 18.5 so 5.5 left for oopsies.

I'm off to get a bucket of water, I have some Summer Fruits squash, and then I'm going to get stuck in to my work today.

The situation with the colleague I don't get on with, has changed, and as a result I am anticipating a change in atmosphere... for the good or bad, we shall see...

Have a great day people :) Keep smiling x

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I am just not hungry. I don't want much in the way of food, something has just clicked I think.

Last night, I had my tea. I impressed myself, because Biker Boy had said he was making chicken biryani, and I <3 his chicken biryani, but I said no thanks, I would eat before I went to his. I made my own pasta sauce rather than use the Weightwatchers one, I had a spoon of pesto, some pepper and onion and garlic, and added some oregano with a tin of chopped tomatos and a small can of tuna. This, with 70g of pasta made two decent portions, so that was me set for tea and enough for lunch today.
It was 5 points for the lot, so that was fine.

Then I went to the Boyo's house, and he isn't feeling well at all. Turns out he ended up with scrambled egg on toast because his tummy's feeling a bit delicate. He is adamant that he has a cold, but I actually think it could be flu. He's all shaky and hot & cold and achey, along with the usual sore head symptoms. No runny nose, no particular cough. I'm a bit concerned about him getting to Brazil, so fingers crossed please for a 24 hr bug that is gone by the weekend. Though he started feeling poorly on Monday...

We watched a DVD, well, I watched a DVD while he kinda dozed. It wasn't too bad, generic chick flick with a happy ending. Didn't make me blub, which was good haha. No munchies, no icecream, no nothin :)

Today, foodwise, I have had toast for breakfast with a tiny spread of jam, then my pasta lunch, which has filled me up - for 2.5 points I should have that more often.. Then an apple, a banana and an Options hot chocolate, which was nasty :( I've already had 4 of my 5 a day, and a total of 7 points. This leaves me with 17 for the day, so I think I might treat myself to a curry tonight, though I am considering pizza... No, curry I think.
The curry I want is a chicken tandoori massala from Asda with rice and a chapati. Just one chapati. In total, that is 14 points, but no way will I manage it all..

Hmm

Decisions.

I'm away to leave work now, so I have about 20 minutes to decide what I'm doing before I get to Asda...

Wish me luck hahaha

Hope to get a good catch up tonight with you happy people :) x

Wow, a man that says he's got a cold when he has flu, that's the opposite to usual!

I'm the same, suddenly just not tempted by any food. Odd!

So chuffed for you Jen....i know what you mean when something just clicks!!! Its a great feeling, it means you dont have to force yourself to be good!!! haha

xxx

Hi :)

I know that feeling well - i feel different this time around than i have every other time i've tried to diet which can only be a good thing eh :)

You sound like you're doing really good.

Sounds like things are going really well Jen - I hope you carry on feeling the same. It's bliss when being careful with food doesn't feel like a chore! By giving yourself a treat you'll also be reinforcing your subconscious brain that you're not going to 'starve it' any time soon so hopefully it will continue to feel satisfied. Hope BB starts to feel better soon, bless him!

Always a good thing when you don't feel hungry, I'm glad its clicking into place
hope BB feels better soon
