Hahahaha! Poor you Jen! At least BB will be back though, that should settle you a bit.

Like V I'm not too sure what to say about the PPing - because to be fair that's what the slush fund is for, it's so you can have treats, but like you say, bingeing probably doesn't feel healthy. I guess you just have to think of the 80/20 rule - i.e. being good 80% of the time and letting yourself have treats 20% of the time?

I don't know - any plan is hard work and PP will be just as much hard work as discovery I suppose.

F&Bs sounds lovely - not that into HP but I reckon I'd go and see the film. Hope you have fun chuck :)

if in doubt.. deny all knowledge :p LOL!

glad hes coming home soon for you xxx

If only I could make myself vegetarian again, then I'd get a special plate all of my own :D But I cant do that.

;)

Dont jack it in jenny, your still getting used to it and have had a stressfull week. Please dont give up!
Propoints works for you as you can eat things you like and you dont have to feel guilty. You ate the crisps, theys till fit in. NO guilt. Please keep going, just for 2 more weeks so its had a proper try or Im going to have to come get you!

Have a lovely evening and happy homecoming to BB for tomorrow. I'm with Rachel deny all knowledge of the broken shelf, maybe he'll think it was never there

Well it's been a while.... Seems to have been anyway!

First things first - Food & Harry Potter! It was ace, I really enjoyed the film and the food - I stuck to my planned pasta dish :D The film - I have no idea how that passes as a 12A - There were adults jumping out their seats and screeching at certain bits. Glad it wasn't a 3D one to be honest, I wouldn't have liked that!! Very much enjoyed the film though, it's been well adapted from the book in my opinion.

The diet stuff - I've cut myself a bit of slack. I'm going to cancel the Monthly Pass thing and do it on my own, the class does not motivate me, the online tracker is not helping with it's inaccuracies and whatnot, and I have enough in the way of calculators and information to go it alone. Its the motivation thing I lack, and that will come with time. I did want to have lost something by the Glasgow thing, since you lot are all doing so well, but hey ho, that's just the way things are and I'll have caught up with you skinny people by the next meetup :D It's the frame of mind thing I think. I'll find it again. Soon. Katie, I'm sticking with PPs but just not bothering to pay them for it... :p

He's back :) He got the passport back on Monday afternoon, with 2 days left on the visa, and was on his way out of "The Compound" by 6am the next morning... He might have had a 25 hr journey, with 5 airports and nothing to eat except the food on the last plane... Gads... but he's home!
Needless to say, there is one last minute kick in the teeth with this trip - His bag hasn't yet made it to the UK. Which means he has to go clothes shopping (hahahahahahaa!!!!) and replace all his toiletries, and that he doesn't have enough malaria tablets left. So he has to go to the doc again which he is making into a much bigger issue than it needs to be :p Think about it dear - Malaria or a 45 minute drive across town... I know what I would rather AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE...!!

It's so cold. We have snow, not toooo bad, but the first fall always grinds the traffic to a standstill. Then it took me 25 minutes to get parked, apparently no-one can park straight when it snows, and they take up 16 parking spaces each :|

I confessed the fridge thing before he got home. He said "oh well, so long as the Audi's ok"....

Love that about the Audi - clearly men are not so fussed about fridges.

Hope and and BB all all lovey dovey and enjoying each other. Shame about his back but being realistic - AT LEAST YOU'RE HOME BOYO! Hahaha.

Don't worry too much about foodage - like you say, it only works when you're motivated and you need to find whatever it is that motivates you enough to stick with it. I hope that doesn't sound rude - I just mean, when it clicks it clicks and when it doesn't we just spend days feeling guilty but not actually controlling out calorie intake any less. Diets = argh. I wish I could find the motivation I need to exercise, it's the only way I'd actually lose summat!

Anyway - hope everything is pink and fluffy with you, hugs and squeezes x

Hey Jen, so glad BB's back chick....I think u and i are in the same frame of mind.....i just cant get out it for long!!

Cant wait til glasgow!!! Ru staying overnight or just coming down for the sat??.xx

glad the film was good.. i really wanna see it!

laughed at BB and the choice between docs and malaria.. i think math would choose malaria, he hates the docs! xxx

Hey jen! Hope your having a good night, how did weigh in go?
And other things?....

Hello :)

Yeah, I will be staying overnight in Glasgow, I have a b&b booked, just a cheapy one. Wanted somewhere fairly central since I have no idea where I am going or what I am doing! :D I can't believe it's next weekend, it has come round so fast!

Last night, I'd said I was going to leave work about half 4, beat the 5pm rush and be home for us to go out for tea about 5, half 5. However, by the time 4pm hit, the entire of the industrial estate was at a standstill, so I text and said I'd work on and let him know when I was leaving.
Half 7 it was, time I actually got into my car and moving. Then with the roads, quarter to 9 when I got to his...
And he'd cooked a proper curry from scratch with homemade naan bread and pointed the lot for me :) 13 points altogether "But I can make you a smaller bit of bread if you like?"

I didn't risk driving to WI tonight with the roads being so bad, but I weighed at home, and have put on the 2 that I expected, and a half more. :booboo:
It's ok, I'm not particularly gutted, I had my full allowance, I think I was 2propoints under for the full week, and to be fair, you all know I was eating junk. No veg, no home-cooked meals... So I know what went wrong and I am fixing it.

Today, I had 35pp. Toast, a mishmash lunch of a pot noodle, bag of crisps, a curly wurly, some fruit and some snack-a-jacks.
Tea was wonderful - chicken stuffed with sage & onion stuffing, wrapped in bacon and served with roasted potatoes. And I have pointed for the bowl of cheerios I have sat in front of me too.
I'm quite satisfied with eating today, so :Na_Na_Na_Na: to those in the "you have to eat everything" camp... I'm stopping when I'm full ta!!

I have a plan. I am focussed. I have chucked heaps of clothes out today, well, chucked them in bags for the Salvation Army bin at Tescos, will make a stop there tomorrow... And owing to the weather I have packed an emergency bag of clothes incase I get stuck somewhere...

I hope you are all keeping warm and cosy. This snow is a pain, I don't like it much. Hope it doesn't last long..!

For those I don't catch before the weekend - Enjoy it people, have a grand time, and make the most of it :D xxx

You'll soon get those pounds off Jen and yeah for stopping eating when full. That sounds like such an easy thing to do when you write it down but it can be darn hard at times. If I only ate when I was hungry I'd be stick thin.

Hope the snow doesnt stop you getting where you want to go. I wouldnt mind being snowed in at home as long as my fridge was full, but dont fancy getting snowed out. Anyway have a lovely Friday

Mmmmmmm homemade curry and homemade naan sounds proper lush. And chicken wrapped in bacon? PHWOAAR. Your diary always makes me drool - it must just be the way you write about it. I really fancy a pot noodle now aswell. Hmmmmm.

Glad the BB is being lovely and doing proper cooking for you - bless him pointing as well!

Warm + cosy = I wish. I'm off to buy some knitwear later I think.

Hope you have a lovely weekend chuck x

Re: Jenny's "Weightloss" Shenanigans

Re: Jenny's "Weightloss" Shenanigans

I'm ok Kals, I've left work early today and been home, collected some stuff and gone to stay with Biker for a few days. The roads aren't the worst I've experienced! Meant to get worse though :( luckily we're all safe though!

Will catch up as and when, but relying on my phone...... :D

Have great weekends peoples!!x
