Jess's Diary - Weighed in a day early..

Lots of snow outside, haven't ventured out. I planned to do an assignment that's due in Monday but couldn't bring myself to start. Got a bit of a cold/headache. That gives me tomorrow and Friday to do it as we're moving out at the weekend. Hope that's long enough to do it  Moving is so stressful. Excited mood killed by degree/moving stress/feeling under the weather. Pah.

Lunch - Bagel (3), phili (1), wotsits (1.5), crunchie (3.5), 2 satsumas (0.5)
Dinner - Tuna, pasta, brocolli bake (11.5)

Still saved no points but I think I might manage tomorrow and hopefully Friday. I am going to have pizza Saturday night after my day of moving (with no removal men, just me and Adam!). I don't even think I'll need the saved points, I'm bound to earn A LOT of APs. I'm sure I'll find some use for them ;) Can't even bring myself to eat pepperoni pizza, can't justify the points if I have them or not. It'll be magarita and I'll add some ham, onion and peppers. Yum.

good luck with moving Jess.

forgot to say that holiday home in france looks gorgeous, cant afford it this year but may retain the details !!

Sounds like you are right back in the zone - well done.

Holiday sounds fab. I went to that area last year with some "girly" friends....well, when I say girly - I was the youngest at 44

David Lloyd sounds good - and a bargain - but only if you GO!

Villas that sleep 4 are much cheaper.. or take another family of 4 and split the cost :)

I definitely will go :) I was a member of a gym before a few years ago and enjoyed it but had to cancel after a couple of months as it was too far away. Plus I love tennis, and there's swimming and classes.. won't get bored!

Anything/anywhere you can recommend that you did/went while you were there?

Good luck with the move. Youre brave (or mad ;) ) taking it on just the 2 of you. I drafted in a firefighter and a cop to do mine :giggle:

When we moved last time we hired removal men as we were on the third floor. Turned out to be some old man and his son. They were rubbish, Adam had to help :p We have bagged up most of our stuff to throw away as we're moving into one room but are putting some furniture into a garage. We only really have to move 2 2-seater sofas, 2 ikea double beds that take apart, a desk, our computers, our clothes and a couple of boxes of bits and bobs. Lots of trips to the skip though, including old furniture from the garage.. not fun!

You sound sorted Jess.

You are definitely going to earn your pizza points, mmmmm margarita ....

x

Hi Jess hun
Adam's mumsey has finally joined this forum
and i'm going to take losing weight seriously this year
for a change as my knees are killing me
my slimming world books have been dusted off and are ready
to go
I dug my scales out from the back of the cupboard but they
haven't been used for so long they must have died
even putting in a new battery didn't help so will
have to buy some new ones
Don't worry about the move on Saturday me and Steve
will pitch in with the garage
see ya soon hun

Hi Karen!! :D

You can do it :) Adam's doing WW too so we can all support each other. Don't worry about the garage, it's the stuff we were meant to have, lol. We'll be fine, just might need help with the door. Plus more work means more food.

Me and Adam have good scales, you can weigh yourself with ours when you're over if you want.

Good luck with getting the assignment done & moving,i dont envy you doing it with a cold,i feel pretty rubbish at the mo with a cold aswell:(

Regarding america ive only been to florida before but my mum n dad have been almost everywhere.

They did a road trip thing across america & have done the grand canyon etc,the only place they hated was san fransisco, they are no way opposed to gay people but when you see 2 men walking down the road wearing chaps(cowboy leather things) with nothing unerneath but a thong was a bit much for them!
Plus there were beggars on every street corner & they are a real pain in the bum! x

Wow, what a sight. Gay or not, I don't want to see a cowboy in a thong! Hate beggars too.

Finally been out in the snow. Internet went down so we thought we'd take some stuff to the skip so loaded up the car and off we went, but it was shut. Hope it's open tomorrow but doubt it as it's supposed to snow more tonight and all Friday night.. aaah! Went to Tesco though and bought some light aerosol cream to put on hot chocolate and got some more diet coke (had none for 2 days!), rice, jaffa cakes and tortilla chips. Plus a WW mag :)

Lunch - bagel w/ phili (4), skips (1.5), WW mini roll (2) see a pattern? trying to use up food before moving!

Snack - Hot chocolate with whipped cream (1), jaffa cake (0.5)

Lost 2.5lb. I was hoping for a bit more but I'm quite happy with that. 21 points now. Also lost 1% body fat. That's all for now as I'm on my iPhone at college. Have a nice day everyone!
