Morning all,

same here Bren, especially in those circumstances.

Ah well shoes polished, Blazer and slacks pressed, Beret brushed and everything put away until next year.

We have Olivia today, our task is to find a peppa pig DVD, shouldn't be too hard I don't think, though we did look in Tesco this morning when I picked her up and they didn't have one.

Ours is Fireman Sam at the moment - but then they're boys x

Didn't forget here either Jim - my chiropodist was around at mine doing my feet (as you do) and as the bells tolled on the radio, we stopped talking and just remembered quietly for two minutes.

My school motto was "Lest we forget". Seared on my brain xxx

Morning all, mission accomplished, 1 box set of Peppa Pig DVDs, half price as well, so cue one happy little girl. I was forced to sit all afternoon and watch them with her.

Oh Jim - that's a bit of a culture shock - my mate's little grandaughter likes Pepa Pig too x

I've never seen Pepa Pig ( don't think my 19 and 22 year olds are into it lol) Hope it's better than some of the things they put on kids TV these days that I've heard about. How can kids develop normal speech when they're watching a rastafarian mouse?!! Says she who was brought up on The Clangers

Morning all, I have my annual MOT this morning so I'm going to be pinched and pummelled, and they'll take a blood test as well no doubt. Ah well, it's all to the good I think.

Morning all, passed with flying colours pending the Blood test results, I'm pretty sure that'll be OK as well. Best thing was my BP, very good he said We have Olivia as usual for a Tuesday, not sure what we'll do as it's very wet and windy out there

Good for you Jim - may have been a different story if you hadn't made the effort and lost all that weight. You made positive choices for a healthy future x
