Jim's lazy Atkins diary

Morning all, yes I love fresh herbs as well Gem, the other thing I like about my herb plot is all the bees and butterflies it attracts. The biggest problem was the rosemary bush, it just took over and dominated the whole plot in the end, I think I'll need to do the same as the mints and put it in a pot in the ground, that'll stop it growing too big. All back to Normal here, the boy is feeling much better and is allowed back to work tomorrow.

Hi Jim - Pots for the rosemary is a very good idea - it is a bit of a thug and will go quite woody after a while. I love rosemary and lavender in the garden - it smells so good x

Morning all. Hi Sharon, nice to see you love. It's pouring down here, absolutely pouring. :(

I agree Gem, i hadn't realised how bad Rosemary could be. LOL

I ordered loads of patio slabs and 2 circles for my garden yesterday - I came away minus £587 and empty handed as they are being delivered - scarey stuff. The guy who is doing the garden is working really hard - he's done the driveway and hopes to finish off the fencing and gates today. The guy next door is doing the fence his side at the weekend and then the interesting stuff begins - hopefully Monday morning. It's raining here too Jim but the concrete seems to have survived the night - apart from a few cat prints that is x

Morning all, That's a serious garden project there Gem, are we going to see before and afters pics?

Howdy Jim:)
Just popping in to say hello - having a crazy busy but fabulous time and still loving and living low carb maintenance lifestyle:)

Must be time for twickers fairly soon - let me when you will be here!
Katie
Xx

Hi Katie, yes i will love, it's the last weekend in April I think and I'm sure we'll all be meeting at the Lady Margaret as usual.

Some piccies on my diary Jim - just a bl***y mess at the moment but should be lovely when its done - amazing how much work it takes to get a tiny garden up to scratch x

I discovered Jimmy's in Stratford - what an excellent idea - really works and YUMMY x

Morning all, it's bloody freezing here, that wind could be coming from Siberia. Not sure what we're going to do with miss piggy today.

I was working with littlies today (ouch... those little chairs!) and we went outside for 15 minutes with flurries of snow and cold wind - it wasn't quite as cold as yesterday though x

Blinking freezing here. Colder than when it snowed! My son is in Brighton so got the update from there. Turns out the wind made it so cold which caused those problems on the a23 that you may have heard about on the news

Morning all,

Unbelievable weather patterns yesterday, bright sunshine (quite warm out of the wind) freezing winds, thwen as black as hell and snowing like mad. yet none of it stuck around.

Warmer here today, TG, and some sunshine!

So of course, after days of being freezing at work, they've now got the heating on "Sauna" level...

Morning all, yes Susie, Colleen was sating the same thing about work as well. We have roofers here today, we need some slates replacing and a small flat roof re felted. Olivia is fascinated by the workmen putting up the scaffolding, she was sitting by the French Windows watching them, now they are up the first story, she's gone upstairs to watch them from the back bedroom window, I expect if we have to leave before they get to the roof she's going to be disapointed.
