Just a simple diary ~

Day 5.
In the morning I had maple & pecan porridge. It was perfect and not watery. Had chocolate shake around 1 pm then porridge again just now. I mastered my porridge making skill hip hip hooray ∩(︶▽︶)∩ . I been slacking my water drinking today because I didn't want to pee alot during class. I don't feel hungry at the moment. I can stay away from food because I am not hungry like before. Only 5 sachet left since I poured the tomato soup down the sink and had to replace it with something else. I wasted money.
 
That must have been hard in university today!
Strange that she told people, I'm always embarrassed to tell people too.
The only thing is it makes it more embarrassing to fail so good motivation to keep losing! Xxx

I was tired yesterday so i didn't write about day 6. Nothing special happened yesterday. Morning had my porridge. Butterscotch shake for lunch. That shake was the worst i tasted then porridge. Today i have my weight in but i am sure if i will go cause of some problems but hopefully tomorrow i will visit my consultant.
I checked my weight today and i am 15st8lb

Today was really stressful for me. I ended up cheating o(╥﹏╥)o. I ate some boiled chicken without the skin and 4 digestive biscuit. I didn't eat anything else after that because i was scared to gain weight. I hope i didn't ruined things. The only good new is that i will go visit my consultant tomorrow. I hope i will be back on track and didn't gain. Sigh
 
The boiled chicken is ok, it's the carbs in the biscuits. Thinks its about 70g of carbs to come out if ketosis. Not sure, and everyone's different. That number made me stop be think because I always scoffed Fruit and Fibre when I had a cheat. I looked like a Tasmanian devil ripping through it!

Stick to protein if you need to chew something. You can always have an extra sachet. Less damaging than carbs...

Do t worry about it. It's done and you've learned and moved on. Hope it goes well today. You should be pleased with your results! X

I bought a ketosis kit from amazon UK. I had to pee on a stick and wait 15 sec for the result. My result match the one of the darkest color which means high level of ketosis. I am not 100% if this is accurate but i did it twice and the result was the same. French is my first language so i know fort = high, moyen= medium, faible= weak. Anyone used those urine stick before?

Just back from visiting my consultant. She confirmed that I lost 10lbs. I also asked her about the ketosis testing kit and she had the same kit as me in her office! was shock haha.
 
OMG! constipation. Anyone know a way to resolve this?
 
Try Senokot or you should be able to get fibre from your consultant to put into your shakes. My mum and I are on day 9 of Cambridge today and she has suffered with constipation this week but those have seemed to do the trick. Our consultant told her to try Senokot until she could get the fibre from her x
 
Today i didn't concentrate much on the diet. I only had porridge then rest of the day i was trying to find a way to stop my constipation. Coffee didn't help, more water didn't help, exercising didn't help >.<. I guess tomorrow i will try to get some senokot. I been constipated for 3 days now =.=''

Yesterday, I was trying to get rid of the constipation so bad that i ended up eating normal food to see if that will help. I am also getting bored of the Cambridge sachet. The shakes that i used to love taste like nothing now. But I am not giving up on the diet! I am sticking to it till Christmas. I'll start taking videos of myself on my phone after each week to see the difference on my face. Going to bed now! ~

Kwaix, you could try other VCLD? I've just swapped to exante yesterday. The bar is ok but the Thai soup was creamy and delish. I nearly couldn't finish soup, more of it. It's 200 cals. Felt more satisfied to be honest. I was pleasantly surprised! Looking toward to sampling the other varieties. Cheaper than CD too. Just a thought.
Hope you get constipation sorted. I get bunged up but it doesn't bother me. I don't suffer. Not nice thinking there's probably 1lb in weight in there! Comes out in its own time. Not painful for me. Hope yours eases off. X

To be honest, CD is really expensive. I will look for other diet after 4 weeks on Cambridge. If i don't lose much, i will come back to it. My consultant didn't stay on Cambridge for long. She did it for 3 weeks only and lost the rest of the weight by doing other things. I am sure is because of the price haha. Thanks for the advice bubbly
