Karenlou's diary - Hello, I'm home!

Well done on your 2.5 loss. Hope your feeling better soon x

hey Karen! congrats on your loss you super-slimmer :D hope you're feeling better *big hugs*

thanks guys. i've managed to eat 12 points worth of food today and kept most of it down

That's fab Karen.

I am feeling ill today. Woke up feeling sick. Had to force food down last night so only managed 20/27 points yesterday but i think that was quite good. I hope you feel better soon x

Hi all. Still very uncomfortable but WI this morning and have lost 2.5lbs - hopefully mostly because I have been so good this week and not because I've eaten almost nothing since Saturday!

That means I've gone (just) below the stone barrier which I'm pleased about even though I drop a point now :)

Got some nice soothing soup for lunch.

Ah sorry to hear you aren't well Karen! Hope you feel better soon!

Well done on the loss and what an achievement! Dontchya just wish we could keep all our points though:D xx

Thanks guys. Lea, I hope you're not coming down with whatever it is that I've got. The only good thing about it is that the weight has got to be dropping off me this week!

I've only managed to eat a couple of points so far today but OH has gone to the shop to get me some more ginger ale and some potatoes as I seem to be able to keep those down.

Just wanted to say sorry to hear you haven't been well and hope you're feeling better soon!

Hi guys - I've just eaten a bowl of mashed potato - I'm obviously regressing to babyhood!

I've been doing some Christmas shopping online and a couple of things accidentally fell into my virtual shopping basket.

This top, which I thought would be a good Christmas party outfit

and this top which I thought would be a nice casual one (it's the white one with the waistcoat)

I found mashed potato was the only thing I could keep down when I was ill a while ago.
My mum kept saying 'have some toast!' and I was like 'nooooo! I want potatooooeees!' :p

x

Well done on your great wright loss.

Hope you are back to full health soon. It is horrible when you are not feeling 100%. Hope the retail therapy helped a bit. Lovely tops especially the red one.

Gorgeous tops!

Hope your not feeling to yucky today xx

Oooh i love those clothes!!! Very nice indeed! We all love a bit of retail therapy!

Hope you feel better quickly x

Wrote a really long reply to this then lost my internet connection - grr!

Had a rough night - woke up in the middle of the nights with really bad cramps :( Trying to drink lots of water today and making a nice soup for tea.

The tops are both from Ambrose Wilson www.ambrosewilson.com

I do most of my clothes shopping on there; they are a good fit for me and have a nice range of trendy clothes in bigger sizes which I like. They are sized comfortably so, as I tried on my size 16 Monsoon dress yesterday and it was tight around the bust but went on and zipped up ok, I have optimistically ordered them in a 16. I was a size 20 with AW (22 with Redoute and places like that) when I started so I'm quite pleased :)

Thanks Sandy. Still not managed to eat my points today but feeling a lot better.

Well, I have a work dilemma...

Despite some of the problems I've been having at work lately, I really like my job and I think I'm good at it. I like the people I work with too. My OH works part-time and I would like to go part-time as well but can't afford it.

I've seen a job advertised that looks the same as mine only shedloads more money and no further to commute than I do now (it's just in the other direction). There would be some disadvantages - it would be in a different county so couldn't meet my mates or son for lunch as easily as I do now but I would be able to go down to four days a week for the same money I'm on now or stay full time but on more money.

My dilemma is this - do I go for it or is it disloyal to my colleagues at work now who are lovely?
