Morning matey, gutted about the loos! reminds me of the time i went on hols in the caravan and we had to walk to the loos there - no good!! hope you get it done soon babes.
Dont worry about the points - i think a lot of us stuffed our faces and to hell with the concequences! Me included but it was christmas so bugger it!
 
sorry to hear about your toilet! that must be a royal pain especially if you're anything like me and always need it in the middle of the night! :p

Hope loo probelem sorted quickly. Must be a nightmare.
As for food i am the same. I tried very unsuccessfully to eat near to points. New year new start.
 
Thanks all. I am still karen-without-a-loo (went in a bucket in the middle of the night lol).

We have found a boat electrician who can come out tomorrow - he thinks we may have 'blown a panel' - yes, if you say so mate, is all I can say to that.

Seems to be a Christmas thing this; last year we had no toilet, no hot water and no heating so at least this year it's better than that!

Trying to stick to 18 points a day between now and New Year's Eve, when we're going to Pizza Express :)
 
ha ha!! Went in a bucket!! ah brilliant...ahem...very sorry to hear about your toilet problems..hope its fixed very soon! Does indeed sound like a blown panel.... :confused: lol
 
Yerrs. My OH is having a long and complicated conversation on the phone with this electrician who is talking about reversing flows and wires and solenoids.

My OH also has a bladder like a camel which is fine for him but I'm hamster-bladder so no fun at all!
 
Just in the interest of the research into bladder weakness which we are currently compiling here I attended the facilities 8 times last night. So as I am approx 10-12 years older then you Karen I feel you have a small window only in which to get some better facilities installed on that boat or to buy approx 5 more buckets to see you through the night once you hit 50.

Didn't want to depress you - just provide useful background information for future planning. Hoping you get it fixed soon.

Thanks (I think!)

I have arranged to go shopping tomorrow while the electrician is here in case the pump needs to be taken apart which is a distinct possibility and will require someone to literally get up to their elbows in poo. I'm not prepared to risk that being me.

This never happened to Rosie and Jim :sigh:

hows the 18pts going? thats a big drop.. i dont think i could manage that atm.. struggling to stay in my 26! Hope you enjoy pizza express though.. i do love pizza.. and pizza express do lovely ones!
