Kat1e's Diary - 7 years low carb - still learning!

Yes, good news there Katie.

So glad they're okay Katie. My dad has some people out there he's checking in with, too. I think nature could probably do with giving the antipodes a break for a while.

Hi all
Just back home and polished off cup of tea and vanilla mim so feeling settled and relaxed :)

Realised i am still a day behind and since i have to actually go to office tomorrow (boo hiss) need to catch up :) Monday was very chilled - dh and grandpa took DD to dinosaur museum then lunch at home followed by Tangled outing. Discovered we didnt have to drive across the island to Newport as little old fashioned Ryde cinema was showing it - only 2.50 a head!!!!! perfect for kiddie show. Really enjoyed it and disney grown up asides had me & DH laughing when the kids weren't :D

Food for monday:
B bacon eggs, flax bread and marmite
L artichoke hearts wrapped in parma ham, cold meats, smoked eel (to taste - yuk!!!) , 1/4 avocado, salad
D roast beef, cauli mash, brocolii, green beans
S mini pepperami, little cheese

W just enough
E not really
A was supposed to be less wine - er still about 2/3 of bottle. Better treat tonight as a school night :D

Off to catch up everywhere :D

Monday was taking me by surprise all day yesterday. I went to my Monday classes, did my monday things, and still kept looking at what I was doing and going... is it Monday? Some days just throw you off.

Glad you had a lovely time, and glad you liked tangled, too. I never intend to grow up where disney films are concerned, I'm afraid.

Also had to retire another favorite pair of too big jeans over the weekend and for work today wearing a new m&s size 18 top (ok its stretchy but i dont care)
:D:D:D:D

I was in the office today as needed to see my boss, but nothing very interesting going on. Had enough of that, so decided to take the rest of the week off to make the most of half term;)

Anyhow good food day

L grilled chicken breast and salad
D roast chicken, aubergine & courgette
s mini pepperami, 1 almond lemon cookie (DH latest experiment), planning a mini cheesecake later - baking continued:eek:
