OMG - not sure what I started here lol!

You'd think bus spotters on an Island would have a very limited target group Lisa. Amazing what passes the time for some folks though. Nowt as queer and all that. I could see it being VERY funny once you'd had a couple of drinks too. :)
Ah now drinks - always a good plan :D

Sooo I'm having a bath with the 3 cms of hot water I could get out of the antiquated boiler, stand up to get out, slip on the soap and bam, up flies my big toe right up to the tap....

pmsl - sorry suze. You are not planning anything spectacular in Brum are you?!

Anyhow - home a bit early tonight as Zumba cancelled:( Means I had better start packing

Food today
B bacon, eggs, smoked salmon (bfast meeting)
L flax bread, mackeral & fromage fraiche, celery
D prawns, boursin, avocado with shirataki noodles

w lots
e only 1 hour dancing (boo)
a not yet.....!

Oops forgot snacks:mini pepperamix2, pork crackling, little choc pud using dietimeal mix

Thanks for the explanation Susie - I had had various possibilities whizzing around in my head I have to say. Some of them involved you standing ON the taps and falling INTO the bath, so yours was definitely the lesser of all the weevils. Taking my first aid kit to Brum now though (in the sad absence of Cheryl). ;)

Yes I do love it - anything with "music and movement" as Victoria Wood sings! Interestingly the energy has come with Atkins. Before I would force myself to a couple of classes a week. Now I have all this energy I need to burn off - and this isn't because I'm tons lighter :) (yet!). Supports Gary Taubes theory that you are:
- in fat storage mode due to insulin therefore you have no energy and overeat
- not therefore you have energy and less hungry.

Anyhow, DH and I had a weigh in today - wont be able to do normal monday wi plus want to keep myself on straight and narrow for holiday weekend!

Lost 1lb in 4 days so encouraging me to stay legal:D. All the evening meals are set and atkins friendly so will need to watch:
lunches out - should be doable
lots of wine - hmm might be trickier :D

Morning Jupiter and all :D

Lovely to finally have time to catch up on all the threads. Even though it's saturday I've definitely got that relaxed holiday feeling :)

Anyhow, yesterdays food:
b bacon and eggs
L left over meatloaf, finish the chorizo, salad, splodge one carb ketchup
S pepperami, cocoa mim on the ferry
D gorgeous 8oz fillet steak, green beans, courgettes, 2 mushrooms, nibble of parmesan

W lots
E 1 hour dancing (did the whole Fame routine this week - hysterically funny :) )
A oh yes - about half a bottle of wine - luckily parents are in restained mode at moment :D

Plan for today - wait for tesco, walk down hill to village for pub lunch, pant up hill to collapse for afternoon!
 
I love hearing about your dancing! I don't think I'd have the confidence to show up at a class so I'm living vicariously. I must say your holiday exercise sounds EXHAUSTING ;)
 
Yes - exhausted here. Had to spend the afternoon reading a book to recover :)
 
Evening all:)

Defo in the holiday mood now - just woke up from a 2 hour nap!

Sun snuck out today and managed a stroll on the seafront so thats probably it for the break - due more rain tomoz:(

seem to be running a day late but will try to keep track. So saturday:
B bacon and eggs, slice flax bread and marmite
L seabass fillet and salad in the pub, still hungry so cheese when got home
D grilled salmon, spinach, asparagus
S pepperami, almond cupcake

W some
E down hill and back
A some brut zero champagne and some red. Probably 2/3 bottle

Off to catch up
