Kat1e's Diary - 7 years low carb - still learning!

B*****r. 0.3 kg up this week:( Not too surprised as feeling rather bloated - i blame two days at conference with no movement, decent veg or enof water. Also got a large spot so may be pmt. Will keep focused for one more week til hols - so near and yet so far!

I just remembered a top tip someone gave me years ago. Only ever wear shorts, even in the rain! It's true cos this way you never have wet ankles on your trousers from walking through grass. The other bonus is very brown legs :D

What bisquits did you get, Katie?

They are maxiform high protein in various flavours. Not yet taste tested!

When do you go Katie? Where in France is it? Wonderful French cheeses and gorgeous wines! Yum. :)

Hi Leanne, not going til the end of the month but away first to the iow from next saturday and then just one day to turn around. It's all an experiment for us - planning to test the tunnel for the first time then go to a campsite near calais for 2 nights. Then on to a site nr caen for another 2 nights and then to stay with friends near bayeaux (and if the weather is too bad we can go early :) )

Definitely looking forward to the food and wine - not the cheese though- dreadful smelly stuff  My usual moules and frites will have to be edited slightly though - cant even soak up the juice with french bread:(

I'm sure i will cope;)

Lol:)

Hmm - just getting ready to go out but feeling really beugh:( every thing has felt difficult today and even dancing was really tough - limbs like lead. Apparently DD was a bit like this last night and started a cough with temp this morning, so hope it isnt a bug! If i'm lucky(?!) its just pmt!

Well hopefully the alcohol will help:D

Ok - well the wine obviously did it's job as we stayed at the party til 1.30:). And surprisingly dont feel too bad this morning - just slightly fuzzy around the edges;). House guests due anytime, glad we are not sailing this weekend and hoping to get to party with Susie later:D
Xxx

Morning all. Had a fab time time at Susie's party last night - some sun and a lot of rain although luckily had chosen an outside table under cover:eek:

Then had to rush back for dinner out with my house guests - just in time to get steak and salad:D

Now a nice lazy day before we host dinner tonight with my parents coming round too! Slightly tricky catering as the 14 year old staying is veggie AND doesn't eat dairy AND likes lo carb!!!!! Rather a complex mix - josephs lo carb pitas going down a storm:D

Evening all:D

Hiya Jim - welcome back:)

Well another busy day with lots of meetings but trying to go clean and green for the last week before hols. Still feeling a bit bloated but totm has started so hopefully that will help!

Dh persuaded me to go to richmond tapas - great choice of meats and noone worries that you dont order rice/bread/potatoes;)

Will try to post menus this week - think it will help. So food diary today:
B bacon and eggs
L grilled calamari, chorizo, pork, courgette and salad (yum;) )
D baby rack of lamb with aubergine bake
S pork crackling, mini pepperami and need some last little snackeroo

E not really
