Kat1e's Diary - 7 years low carb - still learning!

Evening all:). Another crazy day but really nice catching up with three different people spead all over london. Then had to rush home to go to DDs last ballet class of the term to watch - how she ever learns anything is beyond me as she was messing around and ignoring the teacher the whole time:eek: finally had to go to a school bbq - it's the new junior school that she starts at in sept - managed to avoid the rain but did need a glass of red wine to dull the boredom;). Unfortunately now my back is really achey from standing!

Anyhow, staying clean and green(plus grapes;) )
B bacon and eggs
L chicken skewer and cucumber and tomatoes
D salmon steaks with grilled pepper and courgette
S pork crackling plus something...

E 30 min walk across lndon in the sunshine ( lucky between all that rain!)
W some
A one small glass of red

Busy day Katie! I sort of dodged the rain... Had lunch out with a lawyer trying to get some business... Just had chicken and walnut salad ... Which was actually very yummy.

Hope the back recovers! :)

Lol @bren:)

Morning all:D. For some reason woke up and cant get back to sleep! Last night i had a mini cheesecake parfait thing as my snack and would like to recommend:)

As always, dh has been experimenting!

Non bake cheesecake - 1 ramekin
Base
Crumble up one no carb biscuit from lcm (actually only 2g polyols too)

Top
Mix double cream and tesco creamy cheese flavoured with no carb maple syrup

Topping
Some raspberries, strawberries, blueberries depending on phase you are on

Base and top is approx 1-2 net carbs
Fruit is another 2-3 so to be managed!

Yummy:D

Thx for asking - not really sure - still lying in bed lol:D. Hopefully ok now - think i just overdid it yesterday. I hate standing for ages. Dance class today so that should be kill or cure:)

Morning katie, you up yet? :)

Evening all:). Another busy day with meetings into this evening. Managed to go dancing and that has definitely helped a bit so will just be careful on the back the rest of the week.

Took my blood pressure this morning and delighted to say that it's the lowest it's been for years - still happy with atkins:D and that's when im slightly stressed as trying to cram everything in before friday! Am now thinking of OWL - want to hit my main target by friday but it seems silly to be too perfectionist when i'm so near goal. After all it was an arbitrary number i picked that i never thought i would get anywhere near! ;)

Anyhow - roll on friday weigh in and i hope the wooshie fairy fancies a party!:D

Todays food
B bacon and eggs
L chorizo rapido
D 2 wraps with salami and cheese (before and after evning meeting lol) plus salad
S pork crackling

Wow Katie!!

You are an aspiration! 2lbs away from goal - you must be flying on cloud 9!

I'm pleased your back seems easier - there's nothing worse than back pain!

Today's menu looks very yummy! Hope you enjoy the day!

Morning Katie

Glad your back held up, I know how much you like those dance classes - and that is FAB about the blood pressure. The proof is in the pudding - Atkins IS good for you :D

I think you're right too not to overly worry about Friday - but I have a good feeling about the whoosh fairy visiting you :D - and when you're done, send her back, although sneaky daily WIs for me show encouraging results so far :).

I don't know about OWL Katie, you should be looking at pre maint I think

Evening my lovelies:)

Rather a panic this evening as got back from dancing to discover there is a gas leak at our flat we let out, so DH has had to rush off to be the good landlord! Then my brother rang to say the baby still hasn't arrived - they are trying to induce my poor SIL but now started talking c sections:(. I dont think i will take my blood pressure again this evening;)

Anyhow before all that - DH and i spent the afternoon at the theatre in london watching Simon Callow in Being Shakespeare. - WOW:D. We so rarely go out to anything like that and so nice to see a matinee. I do have to moan about the seats - they were so upright that my poor back started complaing again!

Excited about tomorrows wi - whatever it says i'm finally going to move off induction - bit scary

Food diary
B bacon and eggs
L half roast chicken and salad
D wrap with salami and cheese
S 2 pork crackling

E dance class and walking round london
W some
A nope

Off to catch up
Xxxx

Wow action packed day! Your poor SiL, hope she has the baby soon...

And glad you enjoyed Simon Callow, knew you would.

Here's the whooooosh fairy for tomorrow :D

I love Simon Callow and really want to catch the play - it's had great crits!

Good luck with WI!!!! :)

Morning all:)

Well the wooshie fairy flew over the house before heading back to Susie's but didn't stay to party! Weighed in at 90.8 so -0.4kg from last week. Hit 200lbs and although not quite at the 90kg goal I set, I'm happy :D

That's the end of phase one induction for me - planning to try to sts over the holiday period and then September move on to next steps.

Will pull together all my stats shortly and post a summary of phase one.

Talk later

That is phenomenal Katie!! It's really hard to lose when you get closer to goal - and I love the determined energy wafting up from your post!!!

WELL DONE!:party0011:xxx
