Laura's Summer Slimming!

Sooooo today hasn't been quite as great as I had hoped - was my sister's birthday BBQ though, and I still made decent food choices for the main meal but had a bit of birthday cake! Didn't have any white rolls or a burger (even though they were homemade steak mince ones!). But the caaaaaaaaake - it was yummy but I just hope I don't regret it when I stand on those scales again tomorrow!

The scales were kind to me on Saturday morning showing 11st 5.5lb but this morning were 11st 7.5lb again - WTF?! Grrrr. We shall see tomorrow back at class.....

This morning I did my Body Buff DVD - the legs and core AND the abs bit (though admit I sat out a bit of the abs bits which were too hard for me, my abs are shot to pieces after having 2 pregnancies, they will take a lot more work lol) but still I did some of it! Then tonight when we got home, I got on my running gear and went out a run too - week 4 day 1 of C25K.......ooooft it was hard going!!! I had to walk a couple of extra bits (the 5 min jogging bits) but think it was a mixture of it being quite late on in the day anyway (9.30pm! On a sunday - oooft!) and I was already tired today and it was after a lovely BBQ!

Hey ho, I am glad to be back to doing some exercising after over a week of not doing much, and need to get out much more this week and really boost this weight loss along! Hoping the scales will show some loss tomorrow...but tbh I am not holding out hope of a big loss even though I have been totally on plan, and I missed last weeks weigh in....last week was * week too and I was retaining a lot of water as I was so bloated....

So time shall tell....hope everyone has had a nice sunny weekend too! x

No never been I'm very excited so is my little girl she's obsessed with princesses we have them everywhere in her room and she has every princess doll !!

Monday 3/6/2013

Breakfast - 1 x alpen light bar, an apple, coconut mullerlight

Lunch - an alpen light bar (don't ask - ended up going to earlier SW class so worked through lunch at work to get away earlier!) Actually wasn't too hungry anyway...worked out ok!

Dinner - Stuffed courgettes with salad

Snacks - 2 hifi rocky roads (heb)

HExA - 1) 250ml SS milk 2) 2 slices low low cheese
HExB - 1) 2 alpen light bars 2) 2 hifi rocky roads (not the best B choices today but never mind!!)


Syns = 5 fruit pastilles (hypo treatment - 2.5)

Total syns = 2.5


Low syn day but weigh in day tends to be, didn't eat dinner until later on so wasn't hungry for any "snacks" later on like I normally am! Had planned a freddo but didn't need it after the rocky roads which were a HEB!

1.5lb off! :D

Ok so that is over 2 weeks (last week I am sure would have been a STS if I had made it to class) but it was * week so meh. That's me down to 11st 7lbs and 1.5lbs away from my Club 10 award (hopefully next week!) and 5 weeks tomorrow until my holiday.....I want that 7lbs to go by then but 9 would be great so I have a little more to play with on holiday!! Lol!

Then when I get back I will have 1 more stone, plus whatever gain I have - I can totally do this right!?! :D

Thanks! I am chuffed...over 2 weeks would have liked more but wasn't even sure if I would see 1lb off so 1.5 is good!

No exercise tonight as legs too sore from yesterday but hoping to get DVD done tomorrow as OH is nightshift so can't get out a run, but will get out a run Wednesday night. :)

Breakfast - Strawberries with strawberry mullerlight & granny smith apple

Lunch - chicken salad - lettuce, tomatoes, pickled onions, cucumber, onion, balsamic vinegar, sliced chicken. Coconut mullerlight & banana.

Dinner - bolognaise (2) with salad (dressing - 0.5) and jacket potato (HeB) with 25g primula light

Snacks - 2 hifi rocky roads (HeB), granny smith apple

HExA - 1) 250ml SS milk 2) 2 low low slices
HExB - 1) 230g jacket potato 2) 2 hi fi bars


Syns = lean mince syns (2), salad dressing (0.5), 25g primula light (2)

Total syns = 4.5

Lol it's so true!

I did the cardio bit and nearly collapsed, too warm and I am tired tonight, so didn't do abs! Want to get out my run tomorrow so don't want to be tooooo sore!

Going to grab a shower and get into PJ's, a huge cup of tea with an apple and my hifi bars and catch up with The Fall, got 2 episodes to watch! Then BED, must be asleep earlier than midnight tonight :-/
