Thursday 6/6/2013 - EE

Breakfast - Strawberries with banana & custard mullerlight

Lunch - carrot and coriander soup and a bowl of pineapple.

Dinner - Salmon, spinach, green beans and quinoa

Snacks - banana, granny smith apple

HExA - 1) 250ml SS milk
HExB - 1) 1 x alpen light bar


Syns = honey in marinade (1.5)

Total syns = 1.5
 
I'm not sure if I have missed anything off that yesterday, didn't write it down as I went and it's so easy to forget! Ended up making it an EE day cos I really wanted quinoa with my salmon as I was planning a run after dinner.

Ended up having to have a banana before my run too as my blood was only 4.1 before I was about to head out so needed some more carbs on board. Did week 4 day 2 on C25K......dare I say it felt a bit easier! Maybe those carbs helped power me along....

Week 4, Day 3 tonight!! :D

It's still a bit cloudy here just now, just about to do a pile of ironing and wait for the sun to come out - kids can get lunch after our little boy is back from school and then we are going to go somewhere for the afternoon to enjoy the sun!
 
Anddddddddddddd yesterday.................

I bought SHORTS for my holiday! Yes, shorts. I have not worn shorts for YEARS.

Ok my legs are still needing some work but I did a fake tan last night too and even that has improved them a bit lol. Don't feel so bad inflicting them on the world when they are not milk bottles :D

Been ordering other bits and pieces online too for my holiday so waiting for things to start arriving to try on....I wanted to wait til as near the time as possible but I want a few maxi dresses and I will probably need them all take up so need them in enough time to do that!

Breakfast - 2 poached eggs on a bed of spinach, small banana with greek muller (0.5)

Lunch - cheese and onion toastie & pineapple

Dinner - Chicken tandoori kebab (takeaway one!) and salad, chilli sauce (I just counted this as all my remaining syns for today as was quite a big pitta bread with it and the chilli sauce might have had some sugar etc?)

Snacks - apple

HExA - 1) 250ml SS milk 2) 30g cheddar
HExB - 1) 2 slices wholemeal (400g)


Syns = 15 ?

Total syns = 15(ish!)

Just some linen trousers too - they are a bit long though, need to take them up I think! *is not very good with sewing* !!

I want some maxi dresses but half the ones I have seen online are out of stock in my size, grrrr. Well what I think my size will be lol. Think I am going to have to go REAL shopping....whenever I get a minute that is! OH is thankfully off all next weekend so think I will escape child free for a few hours one of the days to get some bits and pieces for myself - although I want to lose some more lbs in the next 4 weeks, I don't think my size will change hugely now so safe to go shopping!

Breakfast - Lemon greek muller (0.5) with berries and a nectarine. Cup of tea.

Lunch - ham and cottage cheese salad

Dinner - Salmon baked with lemon juice, tenderstem brocolli and asparagus with 200g new potatoes

Snacks -

HExA - 1) 250ml SS milk 2)
HExB - 1) new potatoes 2)


Syns = 0.5

Total syns = 0.5

Been a bit AWOL over the weekend, I just don't get the time especially when OH is working to update here!

We had a lovely day out on Saturday to St Andrews, and I had a delicious lunch with a glass of wine...I did choose a salad but it had bread sticks with it and goats cheese! (2 healthy extra A's maybe?! lol!) and then also had a lemon muffin - haven't had anything like that for weeks!

Do you know, I did enjoy it (lemon cake is my fave!) but my blood at 17.1 later on (white bread is awful for spikes, plus the sugary cake, I can only guess insulin for some things like this and don't like to risk going low when on days out etc) - I actually wondered HOW much I enjoyed it?? Blahhh that's cos of stupid diabetes though, not so much the food!!

Didn't have any dinner that night though, just had pineapple and a yoghurt (quite late home and by the time the kids got to bed I still wasn't that hungry) so it might have balanced out....

Guess we will see later on when I go to class! I would really like to get my Club 10 award (11st 5.5lb) but tbh if I don't I won't be too disappointed because of the weekend etc - found myself picking at food yesterday too although did take a salad out with me for a picnic lunch with the kids and some friends, and then cooked a SW friendly curry later on! Didn't make it out a run last night though which I was disappointed with, was too late by the time I had eaten dinner. Might get out tonight and if not tonight then I'll do my DVD Tuesday and Wednesday (OH nightshift so can't get out those nights either!)
