Laura's Summer Slimming!

Well if that's what red days can deliver I might be able to squeeze a couple in! I've done mostly green this week so will see what impact that's had - I feel leaner so hopefully the scales will show the same :) xx
 
I've been AWOL! I finished work on Wednesday and just been so busy since! However I had to come on to report what my scales said this morning!!

I don't even care if it doesn't stick about for Monday weigh in lol, I saw it with my own eyes (and camera!) before I went on holiday which is just amazing!!!!

Will update food etc later as in the garden in the sunshine with the kids just now! X

Well hellooooooooooooooo everyone!!

Long time no speak - had a lovely 2 weeks in Portugal, got back yesterday and I am back in work today - brutal!!

Anyway I ate and drank a LOT!! Lovely food though, worth the gain!

So I weighed in (bravely) this morning at 11st 6lbs! although I saw that 10st 13lb before we went, the day we flew I was 11st 2lb again (same as last SW weigh in was!) so realistically a 4 or 5lb gain I would say?!

Dreading class weigh in though, some people maintain when on holiday but I knew going on what I was eating that was never going to happen lol!!

I NEVER eat white bread here (terrible for my blood sugar) but the bread there was just so yummy....and then the butter on it....I did make some good choices at times, I had some lovely fresh fish, steaks, salads (though often came with lots of mayo on them!) but as for the bakeries near us....O.M.G. DIVINE!! The custard tarts....the cakes.....

I will add some foody photos shortly, so you can all drool over them too lol!

But true to my word, straight back onto SW today, I'm hoping I can minimise the damage before Monday weigh in class...maybe some of it is bloating from all the bread and cakey goodness?! Haha.

Oh and....today me and the OH have signed up to a local gym - excited to get started there too! Loved my running before holiday and will keep that up but think a gym now will be good (into winter too) as I want to focus on core areas too and toning up as well as getting fitter.

So all good here, I have soooo much to catch up on with everyone, tell me how you all are doing?!

Breakfast - Cherry mullerlight & strawberries

Lunch - ham & egg salad with dressing (2)

Dinner - chicken breast stuffed with philly light (HeXa), wrapped in bacon with broccoli and green beans


HExA - 1) 250ml SS milk 2) philly light (need to check the amount allowed, have forgotten, lol!)
HExB - none (bit of a carb detox, plus I wasn't hungry!)


Syns = dressing (2)

Total syns = 2

Oh my god all those food pics are making me seriously hungry!! Yummmmmm! :D I'm totally nipping to Waitrose for a cuppa, a cake and some fresh bread now haha! :D

4-5lbs isn't a bad result for a 2 week hol, especially if you really enjoyed yourself! And it'll be gone again in no time too :) Sounds like you had a lovely time, and well done you getting straight back on plan afterwards too! xx

Haha thanks! The food was gooooood! And I knew I would gain and was ok with that before I went and while we were away :)

Hopefully that shall be the case for me then too - hoping upping the exercise will help too of course though at the moment I am still shattered, I need to get an early night tonight!
 
I just came here & looked at all your yummy pictures, haha.. I am starving now, which isn't a good thing as my weigh in is tonight at 7.30 & I try not to eat too much on weigh day! God help me!! haha x

Haha sorry about that ;-) I am the same on weigh in day....it's hard when it's a later class though lol.
