It's ok I knew it was woman I was being deliberately thick. I'm a bit of an 80s music connoisseur although google tells me that this was, in fact recorded for her 1991 album.
All the best things came from the 80s (me for example)
No, no, no, LTL, you're mistaken, the best things definitely came out of the 70's! Music, TV shows and ME!
Some things are best left in the 70's. Some of us had to wear the polyester dresses, flares and tank tops! (not to mention the platform shoes)
Okay, besides the platforms and polyester, the decade is definitely the best... for music.
It's like a whole other language. I got the odd word here and there....Oasis anyone? No? How about some Blur? Ok ok...Take That?

Ahhhh The 70's ..... Playing in the street because hardly anyone had a car, 'sevensies' up against the garage doors, Glam rock, orange net curtains, sherbet dabs and massive gobstoppers, Thatcher, Thatcher, Milk snatcher (and, prior to that, school milk in mini glass bottles), 1/2p sweets (1/2 pence coins!), 'Watch out there's a Humphrey about', the Corona van, Fleetwood Mac at their best, loooong hot summers with the smells of tar and cut grass so thick they were almost visible, Abigail's party and Play for Today, bright blue eye shadow, Grease, Abba, reading Harold Robbins surreptitiously ... and the firm belief that the year 2000 was a lifetime away.
Those were the days Thank you Gang for that little trip down memory lane :thankyou:
Oh god, this brought the memories back! (glad I'm not the only one old enough to remember all this!)Ahhhh The 70's ..... Hi sheila
happy Easter to you too. I've had a nice weekend but have eaten far too much. I'm hoping to still meet the April challenge though as I have a few lbs buffer haha.
Are you being good? Xx
