Lil miss chatterbox's food diary

i'm pretty much off plan today, especially as i'm out for dinner, but am just generally going to try not to overdo it. back on plan tomorrow. i thought after weigh-in this week i might try a week of green, a week of red and a week of extra easy just for personal comparison purposes. i've only tried a couple of green days before, but otherwise done EE. am interested to see how it will affect my losses.
 
Back on plan today. need to be more organised though. think i need a good :whoopass:really, and a hug.

Today's food plan: (green day)
Breakfast: 2 weetabix (HEB), milk (HEA)
Lunch: savoury rice stuffed peppers (2 syns), & salad (SF)
Dinner: pitta bread pizza (HEA & HEB), SW chips (free), veg (free)
Snacks: fruit (SF)

Syns: 2
 
Hi LMC Firstly :whoopass: for not posting on here when you were having such a rubbish day. You never know we might have been able to help. Failing that
:bighug: And before you say it I know I'm a right one to talk about avoiding diaries when feeling carp. But hey I might have learned my lesson. Anyway I hope you are feeling better and much more positive cos you should be as you're doing really well. From what you write I'm not surprised you felt as though the rug had been pulled out from under you. But you have taken stock and decided to do something about your situation. All of which is commendable. I do think it's unfortunate your hubby is at the top table for the wedding and you're not. Do you have any say in where you are sitting cos it would be nice if it was at least with people you know and like.

Regarding swollen feet and ankles I read on here about red vine vein tablets, think it was originally on JackieN's thread and she swears by them you could give tham a try. Shoes might not be such a problem then, and anyway you get some lovely dressy flip flops nowadays.

Now cardigan - You could go with a shrug or a light shawl or pashmina, they look very dressy and would be perfect for a wedding. And they let you cover up as little or as much as you like.

Thanks PP. might have to look up those tablets. i miss shoes! it doesn't help i have big feet anyway, and wide feet just make things worse! someone suggested a shawl to me yesterday, funnily enough, so will keep my eyes peeled! i'm not sure i do really have much of a say, after all it's not my wedding! but my OH has expressed his opinions that ALL immediate family should be at top table, so will just wait & see.
:eek:I know i should have been on here when I was on one of my worst days (for a long time), funny how there's a little voice in one's head saying, oh no you don't! especially when writing (or typing) things down make things so much better.
I've been having a better day, though very busy with study! making it hard to find time for exercise, but 3 assignments due in May time are really important to me right now, cos if I fail the whole years course will have been a waste of time. I am, when I get 5 mins, going to try and write myself a little schedule so I can fit in everything I need to do, from housework, to studying & exercise & try to have set meal times, rather than being spread out here, there & everywhere!

Hi good luck with the weight loss and studying, I am also studying atm and sometimes find when working I either dont eat or I want junk food. Sorry to hear your having a bad few days, if i can be of any help let me know. I am new and hoping to meet some friends to gather support. x

:welcome: to my diary! i can totally sympathise with you on the not eating or eating junk food. one habit i realised i'd got into was a binge and starve type thing, which i'm breaking (thankfully). mini's is great for support. do you have a diary too?
 
morning (i think!) soooo tired 2day. think wednesday's late night out has finally caught up with me!

Today's food plan:
Breakfast: bran flakes (HEB), milk (HEA), banana (SF)
Snack: 2 fromage frais (3 syns), coco pops (5 syns) - just had dry (i ran out of milk after breakfast)
Lunch: pasta 'n' sauce (free), fruit salad (SF), mixed berries (SF), 2 satsumas (SF), apple (SF)
Dinner: chinese takeaway - chicken in black bean sauce (6 syns), boiled rice (free)

Syns: 14
 
ooo your tea sounds yummy, I dont know what to have was going to go shopping but somehow my living room door has wedged and it wont open, Im stuck in the living room, god forbid i need to visit the bathroom lol x

Well, after 2 bad weeks (and getting away with it last week), weighed in this morning (a day late) and have gained 4lbs. back on the wagon now, and determined to win. I have decided this week will be a green week. Bought myself 2 dresses yesterday (eek). 1 fits me (but will look better when I've lost a bit more weight), the other one could do up, but will strain the zip. so now, my challenge, is to fit into them comfortably by the time I go on holiday on 24th June. Also got a pedometer (from one of my kids happy meals :eek:), and am going to set myself a 7,000 steps a day challenge for this week.

Food plan:
Breakfast: shreddies (HEB), milk (HEA)
Snack: 2 alpen lights (HEB)
Lunch: pasta 'n' sauce (free), lots of fresh fruit - banana, grapes, apple, orange, pineapple (SF), low fat yoghurt (1.5 syns)
Dinner: baked potato (free), vegetable chilli (free with SF), cheese (HEA)
Indulgance: Jive (Aldi 2 finger Twix) (12 syns)

Syns: 13.5

2 wholemeal toast (HEB), margarine (2 syns), mint options hot chocolate (2 syns)

Lunch:
baked potato (free), cheese (HEA), pineapple (SF), apple (SF), orange (SF), pear (SF), banana (SF), crisps (6.5 syns), yoghurt (1.5 syns)

Dinner:
pitta bread pizza (HEA & HEB), cous cous (free), baby carrots (SF)
fruit salad (SF), mixed berries (SF)

day not been too bad. don't think my pedometer's working tho!
 
woke this morning with a stiff neck (no dirty jokes!) and can barely turn my head even now. swapped pedometers with my OH today, as yesterday mine had said i'd done less than 1,000 in a day! i thought that couldn't be right, given how many times i'd been up & down the stairs, doing chores and even changing my daughter's mattress. well so far this morning, having done no more (or less) than yesterday i'm already up to 967, so maybe i'll be able to complete my 7,000 steps a day challenge!
