Lil miss chatterbox's food diary

Had a lovely day out. i did measure my upper arms this morning, and I'd lost 1/2 an inch off each in just 4 days!! and they feel a bit firmer too, although very achy. but you know what they say, no pain no gain. was pressured into getting my dress today. it's sleeveless, so short of a miracle i'll still have to get a cardy. i would have liked to get a size smaller to give me a challenge, but was basically told to get something that fits now.

so tired today! late nights do not agree with me, especially as i didn't get my usual weekend lie-ins! need to get my mojo back so i can get on with the day! lunch time in a mo, as i'm sure to be reminded shortly by my kids. no chances of irregular meals this fortnight then! i kind of feel a bit behind with my diary, i'm finding it hard to be organised, but will definately keep the exercise up! maybe if i do that after lunch i'll feel more awake!

Hey sweetie, losing half inch of your arms in 4 days is amazing, :wow: but I know it can be done as I have done it myself, my stepson who is a body builder, reckons in a few months I could have muscles, no way so I have eased off a little on the exercises he showed me and stick more with Rosemary lol
Exercise will get your endorphins pumping sweetie and will really wake you up.
Great that the kids are there to keep you having regular meals, hopefully by the time they go back to school you'll be right back on track :hug99:
Am always here if you need a chat or encouragement sweetie, have a good 100% day hun :bighug: xxxxxx

today's finally sunny again (if still a bit cold with the odd heavy burst of hail stones)! having a good day. have disposed of kids to my mum-in-laws today!:woohoo:and just got back my result from the assignment i was struggling to send ontime. turns out i got 88%:bliss:now working on next assignments (3 of!) but going to stop in a mo for a break (aka exercise!) followed by lunch. then off to hospital this afternoon as my OH is being tested for sleep apnoea. oh the joys! does life ever stop??

Hey sweetie, well done at least you tried the sit ups and leg raises, I still can't do many but I do still try...do you do push ups yet, no not the full extended leg ones like the men do  but the ones from your knees, ankles crossed and onto the side of a sofa or armchair to start until you can get yourself strong enough to do them from the floor, I am just about there with that one and then hopefully 1 day onto the full extended leg kind lol
Oh and in answer to your question, nope life is hectic hun, where do the housr go....bet when you're sitting in that hospital they'll drag though :giggle:

Have a good afternoon/evening and hope OH's tests come back ok :hug99: xxxx

i try with the press ups sometimes (girly ones :giggle:), although i can get into full press up position, but find once there i can't bend my arms or hold it for very long! suprisingly didn't have to wait very long at hospital. wish my OH had listened when i said i think the infirmary is opposite the maternity unit! would have saved a good 20 minutes walking! i know it counts as BM, but i was wearing heels for a change (for no other reason than my trainers were horribly smelly and sweaty after all the exercise yesterday and needed to air out ) apparently will be at least 2 weeks before results are in. didn't like the leaflet of symptoms though, as it would seem i have most of them (apart from the snoring :giggle:)
another child free morning. maybe i'm warming to school holidays after all. now if that sun would warm up that would be much better!
Food plan for today:

Breakfast: branflakes (HEB), milk (HEA), raisins (4.5 syns), banana (SF), probiotic drink (3 syns)
Lunch: poppy seed roll (7.5 syns) (plain) 2 satsumas (SF), 2 plums (SF), mixed berries (SF)
Dinner: spaghetti bolognaise (free), apple (SF), pear (SF)

Syns: 15
right, off to exercise whilst i have a chance!

Hi LMC I've finally got to your diary, just don't know how I managed to take so long. All I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW, go you, you exercise junkie you. What a turnaround in you in the space of a week and inches off your bingo wings in a matter of days. I'm dead jealous but can't get my butt in gear so far. It will come as lovely Lily is on my case now. She knows me too well and has challenged me to be a bit more active but as yet not specified doing what, just something, anything really.

Lovely to see you all fired up and positive again and well done on the loss too. :)

Thanks for catching up! I'd promised myself last year that when i changed my children's school in the August, would make a real effort to lose weight and exercise. Yet it still took me til January to try to start losing weight, and longer still to`catch the exercise bug. Now I've caught it i don't want to lose it! Zumba on the wii is so much fun. when i got it a couple of weeks ago i had to sit down every 5 minutes for a 1-2 minute break. Now i can just keep going (apart from the occasional pause for water) and I'm starting to know the routines! wish i'd tried it earlier. i had been using tins for my triceps exercises, but i think it's time to move up to 1 litre bottles of water, as wasn't really feeling the effect yesterday:giggle:

:sign0151:

:sign0151: my plan is working.....lol

Great to see you enjoying your exercise hun and wtg on upping the weights, but be careful as you can overdo it too soon, I was using 7.5kg kettlebells within weeks and I paid the price, you don't actually need weights, they do help a little though, what you do is really squeeze your muscles as you make the movement, so they tighten, I am now using just a 2.5kg kettlebell and I find I can do so much more with a lot less stress or injury....

How lovely to be kid free, wish I was :8855:...my daughter must feel like you do :giggle:

I love zumba and Just Dance 3 (have all the just dance ones but 3 is definitely the one that makes me sweat the most), doesn't feel like exercise but ti sure shifts the lbs

Happy Easter to you and yours lovely :bighug: xxx

i think it's about time i caught up with my diary!:giggle: spent saturday in edinburgh and sunday at mum-n-laws for a very delicious, but certainly not SW friendly roast dinner. weighed in yesterday morning and 2lbs off!:Dnot done my exercises over the weekend:eek: but did walk a fair way on saturday. got to be extra good now (so hard with kids having so much choc around, but will not give in...)today is going to be a green day.
Breakfast: 2 weetabix (HEB), milk (HEA), banana (SF), 0% activia yoghurt (free)
Lunch: cup a soup (5 syns), 2 wholemeal bread (HEB), apple (SF), pear (SF), orange (SF)
Dinner: rice with vegetables (free & SF), mixed berries (SF)
and must exercise today!

ok, I'll fess up! over the course of yesterday i had 2 50g choc eggs and some very indulgant choc cake with buttercream and mini eggs and a bag of jelly beans and then cos i'd had such a big cooked lunch, i didn't bother with any tea:O

Hello lovely LMC, that wasn't such a bad day after all, as Patsy said take it as a Flexi day and draw the line, :woohoo: on your 2lb loss :winner: and if you keep up the exercise and stay on plan from now till next wi, no reason why it should effect you losses ....wtg you :hug99:

Have a lovely evening hun :bighug: xxxx

ugh rain (again ) y did the sun go when the schools closed 4 easter?? today needs to be a 100% day, as does the rest of this week for damage limitation purposes alone!
food plan:
breakfast: banana, orange, apple & pear (SF)
Snack: 2 wholemeal toast (HEB), margarine (2 syns)
Lunch: slice of homemade SW quiche (free, SF and HEA), cucumber, celery, spring onions & grated carrots (SF), mixed berries (SF)
Dinner: 2 beef lorne sausages (10 syns), cous cous (free), mixed veg (SF), salad (SF)

Total syns: 12

Did you not have snow. My drive in to work was a bit interesting!!! Food sounds Yummy you'll claw it back no bother especially as you only went a wee bit off. :)

No snow here! would make me a bit happier than all this miserable rain! didn't even get to take the kids sledging this year! i do hope i'll get the weight i gained off again by Sunday. Had a sneaky peek this morning, and had gained 3lbs! :scale: in 2 days! bit disheartening when it seems to take a whole good week of good food choices and lots of exercise to shift 2lbs, yet 3lbs can go on in 2 days. it's so unfair. the sooner the kids finish their chocolate the better, that's all i can say.:17729:
