Lil miss chatterbox's food diary

Hope your neck gets better soon. Menu fab as usual. and I deffo this your pedometer has issues but lots of them do cos if you clip then on slightly squint they don't register your steps. I saw some clips about the fitbit on the gadget show I think and it looks fab but it's awffy expensive would like to treat my self but still trying to justify the expense. Hope your day is good and you get your 7000 steps clocked up. :)

Hello lovely LMC, hope your neck feels better soon .....Pedometers are best worn on your foot, so I wear mine attached to or inside my sock, cos being attached to the waist or hips they rarely ever record excactly how many steps we walk.

Menu looks fab, bah to the gain but know you'll get it off toot sweet...have a great day hun :hug99: xxxxx

will definately have to try the sock idea! i'm getting sick of the bl0ody thing falling off my hip every time i bend over. neck still hurts. i just wish i knew what i'd done? day not too bad otherwise. must stop procrastinating, and actually do some studying though!

lol get your head in your books young lady, want to see you getting a great result come exams :bighug: xxxxx

Day not too bad. just a bit hectic, running here, there and everywhere! messed up a bit yesterday tho! i burnt the tea, so my OH got chinese. i ordered the chicken in black bean sauce with boiled rice, thinking it's only 6 syns. afterwards, i remembered i'm on a green day, so chicken isn't free! hope not to have done too much damage. Today i'm doing better (just a scone & butter for my syns).

The chicken was probably only a HE worth or a tiny bit more so you're probably OK even if not one meal won't hurt. :)

Hello lovely, as Patsy says ...1 day won't hurt, plus because you are over 16st you're actually entitled to 20 syns a day, I don't use more than 15 unless I really have to and that's rare, so that bit of leeway will have covered that little faux pas .

Have a lovely evening sweetie :hug99: xxxx

Good day so far today. all chores done by 9am! so a day of studying, exercise, meal planning & shopping on the cards!

Today's food plan:
Breakfast: fresh fruit salad (SF), mixed berries (SF), 2 weetabix (HEB), milk (HEA), fruit tea (Free)

Lunch: apple (SF), pear (SF), orange (SF), 2 yoghurts (3 syns), 2 wholemeal toast (HEB), tinned spaghetti (free)

Dinner: not sure yet, but have 12 syns to play with!

I decided in the end just to mix up my days, based on what i wanted (or had in) for dinner, using the lowest syn option. So this week (Sat-Thurs) i have 2 EE days, 2 green days, and 2 red days. Also planning to save as many syns as possible through the days so i could have a treat in the evening of my choice if i want one.
Today will be an EE day

Breakfast: shreddies (HEB), milk (HEA), apple (SF)

Lunch: grapes (SF), plum (SF), orange (SF), yoghurt (1.5 syns), mini SW quiche (Free) - (eggs, celery, grated carrot, peppers & quark), SW crisps (free)

Dinner: spaghetti (free) & bolognaise (free) (extra lean minced beef, kidney beans, lentils, celery, red onion, peppers, diced carrots, sweetcorn, peas, spices, worcestershire sauce, tinned tomatoes & tomato puree)

Syns so far: 1.5

i have decided to just have a hot chocolate (6.5 syns) and a cereal bar (4 syns) this evening for my syns, so am up to 12.
been studying statistics this morning on the computer, and boy am i glad that's over! i love maths generally, but stats is just so irritating! gonna take my daughter down to the playpark soon and get some fresh air in this glorious sunshine :D

1lb off for me this week! :) at least it's going down again!

Red day today:

Breakfast: orange, grapes & apple (all SF), 2 weetabix (7 syns), milk (HEA)

Lunch: 2 wholemeal bread (HEB), ham (free), cheese (HEA), salad (SF), fresh fruit (SF), yoghurt (1.5 syns)

Dinner: 1 beef lorne sausage (5 syns), 227g baked potato (HEB), quark (free), broccoli (SF), and green beans (SF)

Syns: 13.5

i have concluded i don't like red days! love my carbs too much, and feel really deprived :(. might have been different if i had some low syn sausages & lean bacon in so i could've had a SW cooked brekkie this morning, like i fancied! but alas, i did not. will put sausages & bacon on the shopping list for next week. so glad i got off the starting block for the tinsel challenge, but need to be focused this week. i need to lose on average 1.6lbs per week to reach 4 stone christmas target, which is perfectly doable, but need to kick things up a notch! aiming for 2-3lbs loss next week, which means keeping focused, motivated and exercising! I AM going to win this week!

i was having a fab day. the sun's shining :D i've only got 1 more textbook to go, and i'm nearly 2/3rds through 2 of my 3 assignments due this month :D then i went and signed up for 2 more maths courses with the OU (thank God it's free for me - not the Β£840 it would have otherwise cost ) and then afterwards i started panicking! for the next year i have 8 written assignments, 4 computer assignments, and 2 exams! OMG! Help! what have i done!:fear:
