Omg I ache so much!!! We did 43km in total with 5 pub stops lol! I only had 1 gin, the rest was Diet Coke 😄 my calories burnt was 1600 😳 so I’ve well and Truely earnt the 2 gins I’ve had at home since lol!
It was so easy compared to this time last year. The weight loss and peddles have definitely helped me. I really enjoyed it, whereas before I did it to please everyone else but it was so hard for me. I’m so pleased it was easier 😄
I felt great out there, I wore some little shorts and a vest top. I’d never have biked in that before, I’ve always worn big and baggy!

Loving this diet, loving my weightloss, loving my clothes and loving the extra confidence 😁
 
Uv done so well , have you been on scales I would have lol. Uv prob lost 4lb Just from today.

I’ve not been on the scales this evening but that’s probably because I can’t move to the scales lol 😂

Just had chicken yorkie wrap, we were supposed to have it tomorrow but ended up not eating out in the end so thought we’d have it today.

I’m loving my confidence at the minute, hopefully it will last 😁

We had a bbq in end I had 2 burger and a hot dog lol only thing had today so will be fine as no alcohol either lol
 
Good morning!
Why am I up so early on a Sunday.....kid 1 is taking kid 2 out for the day and they’re leaving at 6.30, so I got up at 5.45 to sort kid 2 out. Think I might go back bed when they’ve gone.

I jumped on the scales this morning and it is showing the same as yesterday. Hopefully they’ll go down by Wednesday. Especially after the bike ride yesterday and I was super good with my food, only had just over 1000 calories inc gin 😄

I’m looking forward to a nice chilled Sunday. No kid till this evening, so we are going to finish planning kid 1s surprise 21st party 🎉 it’s vegas themed so need to order the last of the decs and work out the food etc plus we’re doing a photo wall, so need to sort out younger years photos before they were digital. Then later this afternoon hubby and I are going to my friends daughters 21st bbq.

The plan for food today is: grapes and snacks this morning, bbq (probably just chicken and salad), 1 drink at bbq because I’m driving and then a chicken and stuffing cob for tea. That’ll hopefully see me through 😄
 
Well today didn’t quite go to plan.
Hubby got up at 9 and hasn’t really moved from the bathroom all day, he’s been being sick, bless him.
So I planned everything for Dans 21st and ordered all the things we need and then went to the party on my own.
Food wise I’ve been super good, I didn’t really have anything at the bbq so have just had chicken cobs and some crisps. I had a strawberry mojito at the party, it was lovely but luckily I could only have 1 because I was driving.

I didn’t stop yesterday finally found a car. Was gettin really anoyed yesterday travelled yesterday to see diff ones at garages and they were shockin.

Finally found one on auto trader it’s private sale and arranged to go over wed. We paid 50 deposit for him to hold it. He’s still got add up and Iv got in my head what if gets a better offer. 🙈 Cnt go tonigjt cause of Work that’s trouble

Glad you found a car :) I'm sure if you've given a deposit they will hold it for you. What car is it?

Hubby is a lot better today, so he's gone to work. I just hope I don't come down with it, I've got so much on this week, can't have a day in bed, lol!

We organise parties all the time but this one is one of the hardest because it's surprise and he has so many friends from different friendship groups. I've asked a couple of his close friends to help me invite people that I don't really know or wouldn't know how to get hold of. I did a facebook event and so far just on facebook he has about 40 friends invited, plus I know there's a few that aren't on facebook. Plus family and family friends there's another 35 that I know are definitely coming. So we have no idea how many to cater for because kids don't always reply to fb invites and also have they got partners coming or just them etc.... We've said we'll cater for between 70 - 100 people. Luckily we're only doing hot dogs, burgers, chicken fajita and nibbles, so hopefully won't be too bad. I'm really looking forward to it, can't wait to see his face when he arrives!

Anyway back to the diet.... I got on the scales this morning and they are still showing the same as they did on Friday which I'm a bit gutted about. Especially because I've been so good all weekend and did the long bike ride on Saturday. Hopefully some will vanish by Wednesday.
I'm out for a meal tonight for my grandads birthday but I know I'll be ok because I'm just going to have snacks through the day today. I'm currently 40 mins into my peddles as well, I'm going to do 50 mins. That's the plan for every morning this week :)

Sorry Iv been quiet this weekend it’s been crazy. I was waking up rushin to get ready to get to garage for when opened for it to be a bag of **** lol. They are a joke these small garages state online fsh u get there and there is like 2 stamps joke. They all say the cars have things like Parkin sensors again not on the car when u arrive. We was lookin at insignias as seemed cheap , it’s just our second car that hubby uses for work but we wanted somethin that was ok so we can use it abit at weekend. Ours main car is a Ford Edge it’s a 4x4 and the fuel is ridiculous 40 miles for £10 so after somethin tht is cheap to run. It’s been so hard tho to just find a looked after car with service history. Anyway got to the point yesterday we were completely put off them found out flywheel goes a lot on them and thats 1200/1600. Which to be honest on a 5 grand car we wouldn’t pay.

Finally started lookin at different cars and found a mondeo never had one before so somethin diff. 2 owners, full main dealer service just been mot it’s a 12 plate with 54000 so this is the best we have seen.
He’s off tonight to look/collect it, he’s goin with my mum while I’m at work.


It’s so hard isn’t is when inviting ppl as u say they don’t reply do they. Ye I’d cater for 100 least your stickin to certain foods makes it easier. Sounds like it’s going to be a fab night tho.

I tell you remeber when I did 6 miles on my bike the following day I had a gain I was well annoyed , that annoyed I haven’t been back on it since haha. It builds muscle , maybe after so many times u see a loss but I Cnt afford to risk it at the mo

My brother has had a couple of mondeos and not really had any trouble with them, they seem a good car :)

We said we would stick to supre simple food for the bbq because we don't know how many are coming and also we don't want to be cooking food all night. Plus I reckon veryone will be too busy drinking to worry about food, lol!

I keep thinking that the extra exercise is probably slowing down my weight loss. In the last few weeks I've lost very little weight but I've been doing the peddles every day and walking once a week and then this week I've did the bike ride. So maybe it's building my muscles. TBH that doesn't bother me too much if it is what's happening. I can see that I am losing weight off my body, my clothes feel great and even my stomach is shrinking, so it's all good.
I think next week, I might revert back to a shake each day at work, if I have it in the morning and then nothing but water and maybe a piece of fruit during the day and a meal at night. I'm thinking it might help shaking it up a bit. I always find that when I've been doing the same thing for a while, my weight loss slows. It's almost like my body is saying it's bored now, lol!

I can't believe I've only got another 10 days on my diet, although I am planning to be super good on holiday.

Ye don’t blame you they will want to drink more than eat it’s always takeaway on way home when ur young isn’t it .

There is pros and cons isn’t there. It’s good because it’s toning you up and in ye long run it’s better. Maybe it catches up the weight after a while who knows. I know last time I did slimming world the good time lol i started doin 4 Miles a day on bike and I was loosing every week. I only started this tho when the weight loss really slowed down and it helped.

Maybe you should not bother or reduce it then when ur weight losses slow down start it again . Let’s face it like u said u was gettin really good losses. I’d wait till wed tho to see first you could jump on scales and it has taken a huge drop who knows
 
Well called me stupid but I have said his friends can stay over in the marquee if they want to because we live in a little village, no where near anywhere. So I said if any of his friends want to stay, they can do. The marquee will hold probably 15 - 20 comfortably, not sure they'll be bothered about comfort, they'll just sleep where they fall, lol! I've said I will do bacon butties the next morning for breakfast, lol. Think I could regret that!

I really want to continue doing the pedles between now and my holiday. My bike ride on Saturday really proved how much doing the peddles has benefited me. I used to really struggle on my bike but this time with the weight loss and the peddles, it didn't kill me, I enjoyed every minute of it and there was only one hard bit. I got off and walked once in 43km which was great for me, I used to always walk up the hills.

Hopefully I'll get the whoosh effect on Wednesday and lose a lb or two. That would be great.

Thanks hun, I really hope so. But like I say, I look and feel great, so if I don't get the big loss then it won't dent my confidence because I know it's going because I'm shrinking, lol.

As not so many wobbly bits. The exercise has got to pay off at some point hasn’t it. Maybe you could of eaten more on those days or had a shake extra

I've been trying to stick to around 1000 calories a day even when I've done exercise, although it was a little higher on Saturday but only an extra 100. I reckon at some point it will have to vanish.
I think I'm at the stage now where I'm not so worried about the pounds but love seeing clothes look fab on me. It's taken a long time for me to get to this stage, so think I'm making the most of it. Although obviously I would love to get to 10 stone at some point.
 
Good morning!

I'm feeling a bit more confident today, although I've not been on the scales today so not sure if they've shifted.

I only ended up having around 700 calories yesterday. I was absolutely gutted, we went out for dinner for my grandads birthday and I had chicken fajita. It was rubbish so I ended up not eating much of it, I only had a wrap with a bit of chicken, pepper and onion. I'd been saving myself all day for it, had super low calories all day, so I could have something nice. I hate it when that happens, so disapointing. It wasn't just my meal that was rubbish, everyone said the same. I was going to have a snack when I got home but by the time we got home it was gone 10 and I just wanted to go to bed. So today I am really hungry. I'm trying my hardest not to have my first snack until about 10.30. Then I'll probably have some cous cous or a cuppa soup at lunch to fill me up.

I've already done my 40 mins on the peddles this morning. I love doing that quite early in the morning when I get to work because then I don't have to think about it for the rest of the day :) I've started doing tummy crunches again yesterday. I managed 40. So will try to do the same again tonight.

I know what you man about the days going faster when the weathers nice. I wish I could make the most of it but I'm stuck in the office every day. I should be grateful for the weekends though. We've had some cracking weather on the weekends, hopefully it will last another couple of weekends.

I only did 20 crunches yesterday, I meant to do another 20 but totally forgot with all the excitement of the football.
