LJ's Journey to be Slim by Sixty

Hello. I did my swimming and walk again today. Food.- no breakfast. Lunch- crab sandwich. Snack- 2 packets of walkers baked low fat crisps. Tea- beans on toast.

well done again - u haven't had much to eat today - but guess some days we're not as hungry are we? Ur doing well with the body magic too!!
 
Thank you Upndown but I felt naughty eating the baked crisps. No swimming today but I did have a good walk to the harbour.
Food so far- 2 toast. Lunch- Morrisions spicy tomato topped chicken with jacket potato ( no butter) - 367 calories lowest I could find on menu. Tea- a salmon with balsamic vinegar sandwick blackberries with mullerlight. Is it your group tomorrow? If yes good luck. :)

Hi - another good day in the bag Mo! Yes WI day for me but scales haven't moved!! That must be down to my treats on last WI day and eating out Sat and Sun!! Guess I'm going to have to be more careful now I'm fairly near (yet so far) from target now!!

B: boiled egg and cherry toms
L: SW soup and watermelon
T: as lunch plus a Satsuma (exciting - not!)

Hello Everybody. I hope everyone is fine and has had a good day. well I did more swiming than usual. I did 92 lengths which is the equivalent to 46 in ordinary pool. It is possible I did 10 more as I did lose count at one point and I think I downgraded myself. lol.

Hi all. I got back from Norfolk last night very tired. Forgot to let you know that I lost 1.1/2lbs last Friday. Of course very pleased.

Will try and catch up with all the news tomorrow.

Wow ur swimming is moving on - made me smile to think of u losing count - but I'm sure I'd be dreadful at keeping count - my mind wd wander from my meals to the shopping to my next hair appointment - to ............ u get the drift. Good food day again - is ur WI 2moro? Good luck if it is??
I somehow lost 1lb so I was delighted :greenapple: thought I'd blown on with Sunday night's dessert!! But had my usual WI treat day today and overdone it really - so will have a battle again to lose next week now - why do I do that to myself?? I have 2 pans of soup ready for the next few days!!

I've decided that I'm going to aim for a pound a week now to target (seems weird to be saying that - just hope I can do it this time!) I'm hoping that a pound a week will be my first stage of maintenance - which I hear from others is tough - and can imagine it is and it's lifelong isn't it?? :eek:

Thx Kay - I was lucky really - had a 'good' weekend' but almost starved yest - not a sensible or healthy approach - partic as I've had treats today - I must have a sensible week this week - my poor body doesn't know if it's coming or going!! Hope all is well with u? Will pop over to ur diary in a mox

Thx Mo and good luck to u on those scales in the morning!! Mmmm not much 'sensible' going on in my weight loss journey - but I hope that from 2moro onwards I can eat more sensibly (less upndown u might say!!) I need to be more grown up about my treats - at the mo I'm literally like a kid at Christmas with anything with sugar in!!
 
Can`t sleep so thought I would try to catch up.

The positive first. Had a great weekend with my sister. It was her birthday on Sunday so my other sister took us to lunch. I had quiche salad followed by a really big cheese scone & butter. :) My food for the weekend was quite good, not really slimming world but not too much. My sister does not eat a lot so I kinda followed her lead.
We did not eat after 7pm and I found that my tummy felt better then usual bugt of course that could have been that I was not eating so much.
The negative - after my 2.1/2hrs drive home not only did I have a big dinner I finished off with two cakes and 2 scones. Damn.
Tried to counteract some of that today.
My food for today.
Milk for t and coffees.
2 sainsbury 1/4lb burgers (2syns). Roast courgette, onion & peppers and sw chips.
Ketchup (3syns).


Upndown, well done on your weight loss. 1lb pound a week would be good.
Am pleased to hear Poppy is feeling a little better.

Nice to have u back Doreen and glad u had a good break - I find it's usually more difficult to eat healthily when I'm away - so u did well to manage that - don't think a quiche salad and even a big cheese scone & butter could do that much damage either - and u've not had a lot too eat since u've been home and u have today and 2moro b4 ur WI - good luck.

Yes I was pleased (and grateful) for the 1lb loss. P

Poppy was off school again yesterday - she's very tired so her parents want to try sending her in for half days until she's feeling better - which might be after the op which hopefully will be the first week in June. I've just got back from a 30 minute walk before Poppy wakes up (don't worry hubby was here!) Not been for a while with the rain and having the patient here!

I'm (hopefully) having a low couple of days eating wise now after my over the top WI treat day yesterday - must do better in future!!

Morning all, I am up simply because I think I have appointment to have my hair cut. My phone packed up couple of weeks ago and the appointment was on that. My hairdressers is not open mon and tues so will have to ring at 9. as my appointment would be at 9.30. Only a short walk down the road tho`.

My son DIL & children have been on hols since last Friday in Caister Norfolk and they have had some horrible weather. I think they will have good weather now until they leave Friday. My brother and his friend are in Hey-on-Wye and have had crap weather too. They are due home Friday.
Here today the weather is lovely and is supposed to stay through to next week. I think I have the children some of next week (school hols). Gosh! have booked the car in for service Tuesday, best change that.

Am sorry to hear Poppy is off school again. I reckon Mum & Dad are right, 1/2 a day may suit better for her.
Good walk for you - and of course Hubby was there :) - and roll on June so Poppy can have her op and then be able to start getting better. I know it is so hard when any child is unwell but a granddaughter is so special.

Have a good day and enjoy the weather and your food of course.

I am going to try and have another light day today. Was easy yesterday, let`s see how today goes eh.

Im now going to stick with my scales each week. Upndown I hope Poppy is a bit better today. I hope JUne coe soon for her. Mo :)

Hi Mo. My appointment was for today.
I think it is a good idea to stick with your scales. My docs scales weigh me different, but it is for her records and usually after I have eaten so would weigh different. I do get on my scales quite a lot but only in the morning before breakfast and if necessary with the clothes I would wear for club in my arms. :rolleyes: That is when I have not showered yet. That way I know exactly where I am.
Anyway Mo accept the 3lbs and well done.

I have been working on a garden that has been neglected somewhat but a coffee now tghen to over 50`s club for 2pm. Not been for a while, will be good to catch up.
