Looking for a buddy for slimming world. Started 2 days ago!!

DVD completed again. So hard but so good at the same time. Didn't do anything Fri or sat so was beginning to feel guilty!! Will do a walk tomorrow and then circuits on Tuesday. Will try to get something done on Wed as I'm travelling all day Thursday. Gotta do it otherwise I'll be mama whale on hols and I wanna be baby whale!! Hope the weekend has gone OK for everyone.
 
Lexibelle I keep rocket salad in all the time and have Ham, beetroot, grapes, rocket salad, 3ryvita chilli thins with a teaspoon of v light mayonnaise, 2boiled eggs, balsalmic vinegar, yogurt and fruit for my lunch (4.5syns!). I keep my breakfast and dinner syn free in order to have a bit of flexibility during the day if I'm out. Keep in mind I'm at home, but even if you buy mugshots and keep them handy if your caught out. Then have loads of fruit and yogurts. I only use them for emergencies but I think they're great. Ask me in a few months when I'm back at work!!! But maybe that would help you out in an emergency!! HTH!!

Balleymoneygirl, I love coming on here and seeing how motivated you are it really helps, yesterday I had a massive craving for chocolate, so I had a mars icecream which I syned (7.5 syns) and it definitely helped and I still stuck within my syn count! Going for a walk to take my partner his lunch at work, he works on a boat so it's quite a fair walk up and down the pier, there is a train but I've decided to try and shift those extra few calories and its a beautiful day so why not?!?
Need some inspiration for tea tonight, I'm doing morrisons eat smart sausages 0.5 syns each and don't know what to put with them :-/

Starting weight - 15st 4lbs
 
Becky I de-skinned some sausages and rolled them into balls then fried them off with onion and peppers. I added a tin of chopped tomatoes, salt, black pepper, basil and some hot sauce (I like it spicy) a little sweetener. I left to cook through for about 20mins or so then mixed it in with some cooked pasta. My hubby loved it and he isn't even on a diet.
 
A walk today but not as energetic as usual because I was with my husband!! Went over my syns today by 1! Had half a bounty earlier and it was 7syns!! Tomorrow back on straight and narrow. And circuits tomorrow night!! Visiting my sister from Thursday to next Wednesday and worrying about that but will be so determined! Lexibelle that dinner sounds nice. I made Thai curry in the slow cooker and although taste was nice don't think I'll do it again. Will just do it in a wok.. think it would be more successful!! Good luck for the short week ahead!! My weigh in is Wednesday so will keep you all informed!
 
Lexibell that sounds lovely, yesterday I ended up doing the sausages on the BBQ with some chicken and jacket potato, I also cut up some orange pepper and courgette with a clove of garlic in foil and put that on the BBQ was lovely, added a salad and it was very yummy. Our first BBQ of the year and very successful and healthy. I was very good and refrained from having a glass of wine, Im going to make Risotto tonight with turkey breast instead of chicken for a change and have a side salad with it. Still not sure what to have for Lunch today and I haven't even had breakfast yet. Hopefully will get the all clear for my knee today which will mean I can start exercising again, cant wait :)
 
I had sausages on the BBQ yesterday they were the tesco light choice Cumberland at only half a sin each.i cut them up and stirred them in with passata and cooked pasta and had them for lunch today with a salad. I also has some of the salmon kababs in a lime and chilli or coriander marinade off the BBQ and they were lovely too, will buy them again. Ballymoneygirl I am also thinking of buying the DVD that you are working out too its sound good and has good reviews.
 
Hi everyone. Linda McCartney red onion and rosemary sausages are free :). Oh and I cannot recommend enough the Malaysian chicken and red pepper curry from the SW Asian cook book - it's amazing. Just about to cook the sweet and sour chicken from the same cook book :)
 
Mmm those meals sound lovely. Did well today but have been having the odd mugshot, thinking they were syn free only to realise that some of them aren't! not too bad though. Back from circuits and it wasn't the toughest that it usually is. She was taking it easy on us because there were only a few of us there. Seriously thinking of doing 30day shred. I've 4sisters and we're gonna try and start the same day and finish the same time. Going to take measurements. I'll probably coordinate it with the circuits class I go to and the DVD I currently do! I know I'm never gonna be thin and have shapeless legs (which are genetic) but I want to look the best I can and want my husband to look at me and appreciate what I've done. I want to get fitter and really enjoy life being healthier and fitter! Weigh in tomorrow night so here's hoping there's a loss!!! Good luck Lexibelle for weigh in. Hope it goes well!

Well yesterday was just a total disaster, no all clear for my knee yet and been signed off for another ten days and my employers have managed to totally screw my pay up! On a better note with all the stress, I was good yesterday. Didn't snack at all, breakfast and lunch and dinner syn free apart from some lightest mayo
In my sandwich at lunch and used the small bread from my HEb. Treated myself to a half calorie small glass of white wine 3.5 syns :)

Well done beckyboo on not letting the bad news send you to pig out zone!! Hopefully you'll get back to work soon! Must have a look for the cook book aqua was talking about. Enjoying trying to make new dishes and making them tasty. Weather not as good today. Will let you know how I get on tonight!!
 
Well I've ordered the taste of Asia cookbook they only has the class copy, had a quick look and there are some nice dishes in there that I can't wait to try. Lost half pound this week happy with that as had a good night out Friday and BBQ Monday. I'm going to try to stick to around 10 sins a day this week but do have another night out this Friday, all or nothing for me. I know that I'm not going to lose a lot of weight every week and may even stay the same some weeks as I only have just over 8lb to lose, I going to keep plodding on until I get to my target which I hope will be by the end of June. Did you know that each lb in weight is worth 3500 calories, puts things into perspective if one week I stay the same.
 
Well done Lexibell :)...ive been good today again but im finishing off risotto (syn free) that I made for tea last night and also had for lunch :-/ getting boring but I dont want to throw it away, Ive just chopped some sweet potato slices up which im going to frylite after parboiling to add and change it a little, its full of mushrooms and peppers and tomatoes so that should = my 1/3 superfree. Ive got the syn free rice pudding in the slow cooker too so hopefully that should be a nice dessert once cooked. Im off to the class tomorrow morning :-/.....please let me know Lexibell if that cook book is any good :)
