Lou's Diary - onwards and inwards!

Thanks both - I've stuck to plan today and feel so much better for it, also re painted my whole living room and scrubbed the bathroom with a toothbrush... I'm not joking about the toothbrush, it worked a treat to clean the grout between tiles, yay for that and cilit bang.

Another revelation - when I'm busy I don't think about food, busy is the future.

Just an update as gonna give mushy pea curry a go tonight..

Sunday - green day
B: Fruit salad and coffee
L: Innocent mousakka (2.5 syns) and a fibre plus bar (B)
S: Caramel options (2 syns)
D: Mushy pea curry with rice and sw chips
 
I found it on here..... something like this...

* 2 tins of mushy peas
* 1 tin baked beans
* Diced onion
* Sliced mushrooms
* 3 tsps of tikka masala curry powder

Fry the onion and mushrooms and whatever else you want to add till soft, add the curry powder and cook for couple of mins to mingle flavours... add in the mushy peas and baked beans, stir well and simmer for 20 mins or so, serve with sw chips and boiled rice... gorgeous!!

Ohh, I added a bit of chilli powder too x
 
Hi Lou, I'm slipping too at the moment, a hoard of gingerbread men ran into my mouth yesterday and I was helpless to stop them. And quite a few chocolates have been managing to do the same recently...
Maybe busy is the answer - my bathroom could definitely do with some toothbrush treatment! :)
 
Oh my goodness, it was a windy night in my house, hehe, good job I live on my own, but the mushy pea curry was worth it.

Prawn - I blame the time of the year, it's cold and the tv is full of food adverts etc and xmas parties etc, etc, roll on January.

Monday - Green
B: grapes and coffee
L: Mushy pea curry and rice (hold on to your hats!)
D: Pasta with cherry tomatoes and bacon (B and 2 syns)
 
Oh no, not page two.. (says hello to page one again).. not much to report today, apart from I'm forcing myself to go to weigh in and am looking at a big, stupid, fat, well deserved GAIN. Blaaaaaaah.

Tuesday - been saintly today
B: 42g allbran and sliced banana (B)
S: 2 x celebrations (4 syns)
L: Innocent mousakka (2.5 syns - getting a bit sick of these now..)
D: Smash pizza topped with tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms and cheese (B)
 
Hi hun, was last night but didn't update as it was a gain of 1.5lbs, argh. Kind of know why now though as period arrived this morning, would explain my awful mood the other day too, hehe.

L: Chilli
S: Custard cream (3 syns?)
D: Mango chicken and a baked potato (B and 3 syns)
 
Hello diary, one more day at work thank goodness, am annoyed though as people are dropping out of the xmas party tomorrow night.. I'm still going to go but.. think I'm going to drive, I was going to get a taxi there and back but;
a) it would cost £15 each way
b) drinks = more money
c) hangover
d) alcohol syns and hangover syns
e) if it's crap I can escape

Have got xmas and my birthday coming up so it's probably the best option not to drink..

Thursday - green
B: w/m pitta with egg mayo (2 syns)
S: Satsuma
L: Baked potato and beans
S: 4 bonbons (8 syns)
D: Pasta with leeks, peas and quark
 
hope the party's good. it's lame when people stitch - especially at crimbo! i've got my xmas do on monday night. our company have cancelled the massive party they normally throw so my team of 13 are going for an italian. its a set menu so i'm gonna watch my syns all week and eat free foods all day monday.
 
I HATE dropper-outers. Why say you'll go if you clearly are going to pull out at the last minute? Gah.

Well xmas party didn't happen :-( all the girls dropped out and it left me with 7 x male DCs, all over 50...

I know - although I embarassed myself yesterday in front of the gorgeous ones..... they had been out doing undercover stuff, came back into office and were changing clothes, anyway - they forgot toclose blinds so I saw them with tops off, I started running round office in excitment saying i'd see the squad with no tops on.... until i realised the was one of them behind me, who then stated he was going to tell them all how much i appreciated it..... hehehehe!!

Anyway.... saturday, red day
B: Muller light and coffee
L: Sausage (1.5 syns) and scrambled eggs
D: Chilli, potato wedges (B) and little bit of rice (syns)
 
hahaha i love it! you never know one of them might have had their eye on you and will take your excitement as a green light! ;)

shame about the small gain, but you'll have a great loss next week if you're losing weight and water retention :)
 
Yep, the scales will be going downwards on Tuesday, I'm being super good so the will be a riot if not.

Need to do something but feeling lazy... hmm, I know I've got ooodles of house work to do but need a kick up the bum to do it..

I know I'll sit here a bit longer and plan tomorrow's menu
