Hi Louise

Hope you got through work ok, there is nothing worse than dreading going in...

Your dinner last night looked great...and you said you couldn't cook!

Karen - I had 12 in the end, hehe, changed my plan around a little bit.

It's WI tonight and quite frankly I'm s*itting bricks again, trouble is... I know I've been good this week, but I've weighed myself and it doesn't really show a loss. I'll be gutted if I put on.

Plus - I hate having to wait round to go to the meeting, I finished at 2pm (started at 6am) so I'm just hanging around getting worked up and contemplating removing various body parts in order to loss weight!!! xx

Oh - almost forgot, today's menu

B: 42g crunchy bran
S: Banana
L: Leftover pasta with salad
S: Yogurt
S: Hifi bar (1B)
D: Jacket potato and H/M coleslaw (2syns)

Well.... I stayed the same, according to their scales I lost 0.5lbs...... the confusion is due to them writing down wrong in my book the one week and never correcting it. Argh

Also ARGH to not losing more / any, I have been really good this week and am so annoyed, I think I may be one of those... big drop one week, no drop the next? Big GRRRRRGGH, anyway, new week and all that.

Good luck for tomorrow hun x

Thanks Niknaks, am ok about the diet.

Just wish I could change my job, I'm basically being bullied by the woman I line manage and am slowly cracking up over it. I love my job and use to look forward to going to work, but since she's kicked off I've started dreading going in. Arrgh, I need to go and stand in the middle of a large field and scream!!!! x

What a b*tch!. Stay strong hun. Is there anyone you can turn to for advise? Maybe your line manager? Don't struggle on your own. My mum gets bullied in work and well you don't need the gory details but she basically had a nervous breakdown which unfortunately led to other things... but thankfully she has regained her strength and is no longer allowing the ***** in work to ruin her life. Im not suggesting you are having the same experiences as Mum but I just want you to know I am here if you need a shoulder it's amazing how quickly these things can escalate! Don't keep it bottled up. The worst thing ya can do.

Big hugs ((((()))))

xx

Thanks hun, didn't mean to blurb it all but I got to that point I had to. My bosses are supportive, but I've moved "her" to the desk next to me to stop her excessive talking, but has in turn made my life hell, by writing down everytime I make a coffee / go to the loo / photocopier etc. She's been there 10 years and nobody has ever stood up to her before as they were scared of her.... then I come along!! (wish I'd ignored like previous line managers now).

I know it's easier said than done but why not play her at her own game. If your her boss then maybe pull her to a side and tell her that your are aware of her game. Also warn her that if it continues you will report her. Tell your line manager. Be a step ahead of the b*tch. Remember at the end of the day she is a jealous little so and so because she is stuck in the same position she was 10 years ago right? Hold yourself up high. Show her who the boss is!

Don't melt in her hand- that's what she wants. Just play her at her own game. You have much more above her. Two fingers comes to mind lol!

awww lou don't let her ruin your job. i can't stand bullying - i witnessed it recently in my job (a colleague bullying the manager) and went directly to the chief exec. it got addressed straight away and stopped :)

do you have supervision??? if you do raise it there and i'd also make HR aware of it so it's in writing. also everytime you feel she is bullying you (ie making list of your movements) then write down what happened, the time, date and if there were any witnesses. the fact that she's keeping notes on you is completely inappropriate - it's not her role to do so and not what she's being paid to do.

get her by the balls - in the most correct way possible via those whose job it is to do so! ;) ...and don't let some cranky old bint ruin your day to day life. xxx

...and it doesn't hurt to shed a tear or tell them that it's making you not want to come to work. if you're a good worker than they will jump straight on it and sort it out.

I've been talking to my managers about it, but they don't see her as a problem as her performance figures are ok, re the bullying bit - their reply was that 'as management you need to learn not everyone will like you'. Argh.

Anyway, thanks for your help girlies, I shouldn't really be talking about it on here as it's a small world and will prob come back to bite ME on the bum.
