Another 16 miles in the pouring rain. There is something strangely appealing about cycling in heavy rain. Loads of puddles to splash through - I was sodden wet when I got in. Nice hot bath and then I'll have my tea (quorn curry) and watch some telly.

I could do with having the log fire lit tonight - in July!! It is lovely though when its raining and a bit grey.

Ha ha we have the wood burning stove lit today..and all the doors open..great OH lights it and i let it all out.. well we have to keep the garden warm... x

Hey girlies - thanks for looking for me - I'm the one buried underneath a raft of personality profiles and handouts for Management development programmes.

Busy bee - but on the positive side, I have been reasonably good food wise.

Did my steps dvd for the first time in ages the other night - really enjoyed it. Found a copy of Steps Gold at the charity shop (Cd) which made me feel like getting my dvd out....been cycling instead, see.

I have now lost another couple of pounds of my squatters - so 5 to go I think now. Will change my ticker.

Must dash. Will pop on to other diaries when the paper mountain clears a bit. xx

I have been lower on bmi of course so its not quite so exciting as it would have been previously! but pleased all the same...

Forgot to mention - I bought a bandage dress the other day and its amazing...if you have not tried one on, you absolutely must. Its like wearing really strong foundation underwear without the discomfort - pulls you in in all the right places. Love it, love it, love it.

I am planning on wearing it to a wedding on Saturday so if I do and there are any pics to post, then I will do that.

Went to a charity ball last Saturday - but were "asked to leave" after OH complained about there being no vegetarian choice - apparently asking for food that you can actually eat is offensive in these parts!!! And honestly, he wasn't rude to them....some people.

So I was all dressed up and nowhere to go - our friends, bless them, finished their food and also left so we ended up with a party at ours - with us all in our posh frocks and DJs - very funny.

OMG - That is apalling !!!!
I would write and complain about that - its basic stuff - hardly like you complained because there wasnt any "kangaroo" for example - on the menu.

What about dietary requirements ??? grrr - makes me angry lol

my own sister conveniently forgot when telling caterers for mothers funeral that I have not eaten animal protein for over 20 years - ooooppppppppps

and I so what to know more about the bandage dress - surely all the wobbly bits have to be pushed somewhere - dont they just get pushed out at the top and bottom
