Hey, congrats to both boys; glad they are doing so well. Is your younger one doing A levels next or a vocational qualification?
He will do Highers (scottish equivalent of A levels but done in one year rather than 2) - its a bit of a shame as he is still only 15 now so would be able to go to uni when he is still only 16
which is way to young - and he is actually still a really young 15 (still not hit puberty would you believe, bless him!) So, he will do another 2 years at school then uni. He is far more practically minded than his academic big brother though.
Very smart young boys you have there
Must take after their mummy x
Well, my nephews (brothers son, and sisters son) also got 5 As so as a family we are claiming the clever genes....thats the only thing that's common between the 3 boys, so it fits!!!
Aww bless ya, tell me, did the boys stress as much as you did?!
Course not - they were far calmer than me - although the older lad was feeling sick opening his email - he knew what he needed to get I suppose which is always worse in some ways.
Thanks also to Twiggy, fuzzy, hazel, Fitz and everyone else who has sent congrats. they wanted to go out with their pals to celebrate so I am taking them out next week for dinner.
the shame of it all is that my older lad still has so many hurdles to go through before he even gets accepted to study medicine - and then, another 5 yrs of study followed by another good few years when qualified - I don't see why he wants to do it, but he does.
Not much to say foodwise....least said the better! Not being good but not too bad either....xx
