LRO...name needs to change, I think ;(

Rosie that's shocking - you definitely should make a complaint about that. Veggie food should always be available in this day and age. Just out of interest, which charity was it, so I can make sure I'm not supporting them lol.

Yes, do post a link to this bandage dress - sounds very intriguing!

Hi Rosie those days are the pits aren't they? Hopefully they will both soar through.

Have a more relaxing day when you get the results

Evening - both boys did well - youngest got 2 As, 3 Bs, and 4 Cs - he was a bit disappointed with his Cs but its still a pass

Older one got 5 As so got the grades he needs to continue his medical school application....we were all very relieved to say the least.

Wow - sounds like they did very well xx

You can relax now - congratulations xx

Hey, congrats to both boys; glad they are doing so well. Is your younger one doing A levels next or a vocational qualification?

Aww bless ya, tell me, did the boys stress as much as you did?!

Congrats to you for having such smart boys, and of course, congrats to the boys for their hard work/ general brainy natures! So your oldest is going to be going to medical school? So that's what? 5 more years of stress for you?! ;)

He will do Highers (scottish equivalent of A levels but done in one year rather than 2) - its a bit of a shame as he is still only 15 now so would be able to go to uni when he is still only 16 :eek: which is way to young - and he is actually still a really young 15 (still not hit puberty would you believe, bless him!) So, he will do another 2 years at school then uni. He is far more practically minded than his academic big brother though.

Very smart young boys you have there :) Must take after their mummy x

Well, my nephews (brothers son, and sisters son) also got 5 As so as a family we are claiming the clever genes....thats the only thing that's common between the 3 boys, so it fits!!!

Aww bless ya, tell me, did the boys stress as much as you did?!

Course not - they were far calmer than me - although the older lad was feeling sick opening his email - he knew what he needed to get I suppose which is always worse in some ways.

Thanks also to Twiggy, fuzzy, hazel, Fitz and everyone else who has sent congrats. they wanted to go out with their pals to celebrate so I am taking them out next week for dinner.

the shame of it all is that my older lad still has so many hurdles to go through before he even gets accepted to study medicine - and then, another 5 yrs of study followed by another good few years when qualified - I don't see why he wants to do it, but he does.

Not much to say foodwise....least said the better! Not being good but not too bad either....xx

Well done Rosie's boys and very well done Mommy Rosie for keeping it all together. Senior son will be OK he'll find it in him if its what he really wants and I can provide him with many real life scenarios to keep him focused on his goal!!!

Take care

Any help pre-interview in the personal statement department greatly appreciated, M

Been on a mammoth bike ride today - all on my own too....33 miles and my average speed was really good - for the first 21, I averaged 13.7mph, then on the last 12 it dropped to 12.6 - still an improvement on my previous average so pleased with that.

I failed to remember that there is a new cycle path on the disused railway line from Stafford to home.....I took the steady incline for 8 miles route :eek::eek: My thighs are fighting back now, I can tell you!

Off to the football later. First game of a new season - Newcastle at home so hopefully a first win under our belt!

It could be a large gel seat Jess as recommeded by Fuzz!!

Well done Rosie but all those miles you're a hero (well always were but even more now)

Send details of personal statement I'll get docs onto it.

M
