LRO...name needs to change, I think ;(

I'm so gad you're back

Has son been sorted then? if so where has he decided on ..if its alright to say of course..just nosy me.

Are you able to come to the mini meet in Birmingham on 17/10? I do hope so we seem to have a large number of "regulars" hopefully coming to meet up.

Take care

M

Thanks for all the visits ladies - very pleased to see you all.

Need to do some exercise today - so nothing to report as yet.

M, son not yet decided - he was disappointed with his UKCAT score - as Glasgow asked for 2400 and he got 2380....I don't think the other uni's have a cutoff point - so still looking around.

I am hoping to come to the mini's meet this time in Birmingham - would be a shame not to when I am so close.

Hope you can Rosie , it would be great to meet you again. Yes I am venturing into Birmingham!!

ooooo, get you - all that way into Brum - are you taking emergency torches and all that too????

Just done my steps DVD so feeling a little better.

Update on my diet plans. Last week I decided to go back to my foodpacks (W8) that I lost most of my weight with last year. So started on monday - managed ok with 4 foodpacks on both monday and tuesday - then had the blinding headache that comes from withdrawing from sugar/carbs...not nice when I was trying to train either, I can tell you.

So Wednesday, I had 2 foodpacks plus some food and did the same today. So not fully on foodpacks but restricting calories nonetheless. Its too hard second time around - well for me, anyway. I think its because I don't have that much to lose, my motivation to cut out food completely is not there - even though it would only be for such a short time (reckon I could shift a stone in 3 weeks if I went back to only packs)

Think my plan will be like the upday/down day diet that's on here. One day "normal" eating (2000 cals) and one day 4 foodpacks (or 500 calories) and see how I get on.

Since Monday morning, I have lost 2lbs, so that's a good start.

Hi Rosie-yes i have the dog sleds ready and everything!!

saw you on the on a day off a day thread today, am thinking about it but havent decided yet

Good job I fessed up then - I would have been caught sneaking around other diets!!!!

why on earth can't I just eat less and move more - it would make my life so much simpler than having to have all these different diet plans going on

Evening - well technically, morning ...

Not much to report. Went to that London yesterday (Friday) and walked for bloomin miles as you do when doing the touristy stuff.

Had lunch at a great place that did these great salads - absolutely gorgeous - if I could have that every day, I would have no need for a diet.

Sitting here now though with a large gin and tonic....and yes, I don't normally drink - one of those nights......

Morning Rosie...
I was looking for the reason for sore legs,is it from walking round London?
My leg is also sore (still)but cant think what ive done
Hmm the salad place sounded great and hope you enjoyed the G+T...
have a nice day xx

Think it was a combination of things fuzzy to be honest - I did try VERY hard with my steps DVD the other night and then the walking - but also, I think when I am restricting calories (particularly sugars) my legs feel heavy as the muscles are not getting what they need until the fat stores start being dissolved...if that makes sense.

I enjoyed the effects of the G&T - I managed to sleep well last night which I have not been able to do much lately - but it tastes blooming awful - think I might have to try mixing it with something that actually tastes nice if I ever did it again!

yyeeaaaggghhhhhkkkk i dont like Gin at all ( escept sloe gin that goes down very well!!)
Glad you had a better night, must be something in the air, have been having similar probs. Wine hasnt helped perhaps i should try something stronger LOL

i tried some of those nitol tablets last time i had this problem and it did help, also avon sell this stuff to spray on your pillow/bedding which helps your relax-both perhaps a bit safer gthan a drop of mothers ruin!!

Its absolutely not like me - its as unlike me as you could possibly get but it was the only thing (other than an expensive single malt whiskey which I also hate) that we had in.

Feeling a bit better so don't think the bottle will be getting a visit later - I teach relaxation techniques and even they didn't work!

Troubled mind right enough, M - and I don't think its going to pass in a hurry - but too personal to share on here. xx

Morning

Hope all is ok with you *hug*

Thankyou for stopping by on my diary xx

Hope you can sort your issues soon
try some lavender oil in a bath that is very relaxing as is camomile tea (I cant drink it tastes like hay smells to me :):) )

hope you had a restful night

Well it sounds as if there might be an improvement which is great. Only a PM away if I can be of help. Fine line of course between nosy and helpful but wishing to stay on the helpful side.

Take care I don't like to see you down.

Oooh, where? May try it out :D
Less than 6 weeks until I move out! I'm going to have to start a packing list :) chip spice is definitely on my list, they don't do it darrn sarrth :p

Hope you feel a bit better soon. Trouble minds never help the dieting efforts. :( Don't want to see you the same as me, back where you started and then some!
