Lyndzi's Diary - New Journey in Jan

Well done Lyndzi. I've given up with the monthly challenges because every month I fail them. But I'm still part of the August Bank Hol challenge. Anyway look at it this way, you might not have made the challenge losses but you have still lost weight, which if you hadn't persevered with CD you might have put on instead.

Well done for getting right back on track after the birthdays xxx

This has been my first WI since my birthday, but have been on CD for 6days and I lost 4lb :talk017:

Right I don't think I will loose 7lb this week so it means I will of failed my 2nd monthly challenge :( but I'm in the August Bank Holiday Challenge so here is working for 30lb between now and then :)

Well done Lyndzi, what a great loss - you can do this and must be delighted.

Sharon xx

Morning shanny. How did yesterday go??

Have a fab day Lyndzi, got anything planned? I was just going to laze around in the garden but the weather is aweful yet again so that's out the window. Xx

Today is day 7 and I know I'm in ketosis as I have all the signs. But finding it really hard feeling quite lonely as everyone around me is eating and drink mainly because of the world cup.

I'm sick of being cold, funny taste in my mouth and I'm constantly thinking about food.

Just been round to my husbands parents for a visit as it's fathers day and she is dishing out beer, crisps and cheese on toast. Now normally this wouldn't bother me but got pissed off by it and have come home feeling really ****. No one in his family have ever had a weight issue and I think they think I'm wierd not eating. I know it may seem daft to others bit this is a massive thing for me.

Sorry about the moan just feeling low. Going to see my parents soon so let's see if they can piss me off.

Oh I am sure your parents WILL manage it :):) its what they do best

I dont blame you for having a good moan - I did to DH the other day and bless him he told me to choose what I wanted to do and he would support me to the end - last night he kept his word he wanted chips - so cooked them and ate his dinner in the garden so I would not have to smell it

you can do this just one day at a time and you will be there before you know it :):)

Thank you :0)
I don't expect others not to eat and drink around me and normally wouldn't bother me but for some reason today is has niggled me.

I just tried speaking to my hubby but not sure he understands, he just makes the right noises.

Every now and then it just gets a bit much doesn't it, but well done for getting through it, feeling p*ssed off is fine, feeling guilty and sick and horrible for giving in is not!! You've done really well, I'm with you on the feeling cold, I've actually got goose bumps and the temp thing on the wall says.......21 degrees, so it's really not cold. I can just about cope with the taste in my mouth, but it's sooo sweet, could do with out it really.

Ha ha don't get me started on moaning, I went to my friends earlier and she was munching on toast with peanut butter, now if ever there was something I'd break my diet for it would be that. She made me laugh though, she said if I had that I'd put on 10st right away, me and bread don't agree!!

Anyway you're not totally alone in this hun, you have us!! xxx

yep we all with you Lyndiz ive just eaten (9) prawns and was pointless really.!

just greedy shanny.! stick with it hun, read your mags?? lol

I think my little rant earlier helped. I knew I would be eating food at my Mum's today so everyone else had lasagne & chips along with cider and wine. And I had...
1 x tin of Tuna
Lettuce and cucumber
3 pints of water

I'm so pleased I stuck to it :)

Think my parents were impressed aswell.

Thank you for your support x x

well done on sticking with the tuna at your parents - that is stuff that would earn you medals - you deserve a great weigh in result :0

Thanks for the support everyone. Had a great day today.
Had a meeting with a client today and won the furniture orders fir 13 stands. . . Yipee!!
But provided lunch for them also, thought it would be better to order a platter of sanwhiches than go to the pub.

I sat in the meeting with a bottle if water while they tucked into the sandwichs but I didn't mind as I knew once the meeting was over I had my chocolate tetra waiting.

Had 3 litres so far, I love days when there good like this.

Hope everyone else is having a good one :0)
