maintenance with 5:2

I feel so body confident between 9st and 9.3... Initially my ultimate goal was 9.3 and I'd hoped to maintain between 9.3 and 9.7. Now however I'd like to push for 8.10 to maintain between there and 9.2 :) xxx
 
You know your body and I totally understand pushing for 8.10 to allow for fluctuation to 9.2. 9.7 of course is not bad at all and you are so much more toned than you were when you were 9.7 before the Insanity/exercise. Clearly at lot more muscle.

Interesting exchange of posts between you and Lara (Lara and I go back er! quite some time on Minis) on scales and weighing. I now understand why you smashed the scales and that is a brave thing to do. I would always advocate to Lara NOT to weigh just because of how she explains the number the scale can affect her which is negative. It seems to me your reason is slightly different but equally the regular weighing puts your in constant fear. Very interesting how the use of scales works or doesn't work for each of us. I'd love to be able to rely only on the fit of my clothes to reign things in but I think I am a long way from that. The most important thing is we do what works for us as individuals and it is always very interesting to read different approaches and experiences.

That was defo the key for me, I knew once I'd had at least 1 week exercising and fasting under my belt I'd be ready to face the world! Lol! Xxx
 
Got a summer wedding in August, so am obviously dress shopping lol... Whittled it down to these 3.... So far.... Thoughts please...

Ooh! Lovely! For it would have to be the first one - the red one. Simple and classic. The flowery one is too flower for me and I think seeing photos in the future would make it looked dated and the third one is a nice colour but again for me the cut away neckline doesn't make it a classic look. You of course would gorgeous in all three so whichever one you decide that makes you feel a million dollars in has to be the one you get.

The yellow is now sold out in an 8 everywhere lol..z wasn't meant to be... Xxx
 
I have a similar shaped dress, put a wee collage together as there's only 6lbs difference but the pink dress is a 10 at 9st 12 and the black dress is an 8 at 9st 6lbs. Shows what exercise can do! Xxx

Wow! Love both the pink and the black dresses! Funny how the red one is similar to these two dresses! Can't go wrong with classic but seeing you in these pics I would say the red or the yellow one would work. Wonder if you could get the yellow one in store? You are going to have to post another set of before and afters. It would be interesting to see how you look in the after (with all the exercise) compared to the original before pic. Clearly the exercise makes a big difference with toning which diet alone doesn't.

So.... Food today...... Eeerrrrmmmm.... Non fast day... Started well.... Fruit and fat free yoghurt for breakfast... 197kcals, lunch was ww carrot and lentil soup, pk mccoys and a tunnocks caramel wafer... 380kcals, sweet n salt popcorn... 129kcals.... Then it went a bit pear shaped.... Or should I say egg shaped ( of the Easter kind ) and a 150g pack of fruit n nut mix.... 1166kcals in the egg and mix alone! :/ then hubby brought me in sushi for tea!! 336kcals! So total for today is... 2345!!! Looking forward to my fast day and have planned broccoli and cauliflower soup... Haha! Bath, shave, nails, brows and tan I'd my evening plan! Xxx

Red red red! Will look fab with your colouring. Not a horrendous day considering you're doing. I have better losses when I eat more on up days as long as I don't go ridiculous! Seems like it shakes things up xxx
 
OMG! Fake before photo!!! Not you!!! Kidding! Wow!!

You will think I'm weird but in your before you still look great as you have no cellulite (even though yes you are bigger). Even at a normal Bmi or under at 22 I have cellulite on my thighs/legs. I wish I looked as smooth with lovely skin like you did in your before pic!

Defo plenty cellulite lol! Actually another miniminer has just started using cellulite cream so I'm gonna give my one a go... Lol xxx
