maintenance with 5:2

Very yummy non fast day. Finished on 1132. Had my magic porridge, scan bran n jam, black coffee for breakfast. Lunch was skinny latte, carrot n lentil soup and a mini roll for lunch, homemade tomato based chicken curry with slim noodles and coke zero for tea and a detox tea and 2 x choc chip snack a jacks for snack! Was yuuuummmm! Xxx

It really was. I worked 6:30am till 7pm yesterday so food was really enjoyable :) Last official fast of the week before weigh in tomorrow and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised so far.... 1lb down with one fast left xxx image-1308489192.jpg
 
My only advice would be to plan your fasts ( I use my fitness pal ) weigh and measure foods especially on fast days as it's soooo easy to over eat without realising. Some quantities will surprise you, and to weigh the same day after your second fast. ( I'm back to weighing daily but I'm fine with the gains after non fast days ) as long as the overall weight goes down then your onto a winner. Very best of luck. You'll do fab and be at goal in no time xxx

Thanks for advice and encouragement!! Just completed 2nd successful fast day using 3 Cambridge products - just makes things easier. Calorie counting on non fasting days really shocks me!! No wonder I was putting on weight!! Xx
 
My highest ever day was nearly 6000 eeeek that was Easter Sunday haha. It involved a full thorntons Easter egg, a Sunday dinner with all the trimmings and a creme egg cheesecake with double cream. Scary haha xxx
 
Weight this morning is 9.5.3/4lbs so a loss of 2lbs this week and 11lbs for the 4 weeks since my restart. Feeling fab and now feel like my Xmas goal of 9.2 is not only achievable but I may even exceed it! My eldest is 16 today! Proud mummy here! Xxx

Wow Carrie, I have just been catching up on your diary. You have done so well and seem to be cracking maintenance! How long have you been maintaining for?
I think exercise will be key to maintenance for me; I used to love Chalene Johnson's turbo jam and fire. I can't wait to be finished with Exante so I can start exercising properly. Happy Birthday to your son! You still look like you're in your 20s!
 
I've been maintaining within a few lbs since hitting goal on 12th December last year. Thanks sooo much :) xxx

Had a very carby high weekend. Have not weighed since fri and don't plan to either. Totm as well as loads of naughty carbs is never a good mix. Fast will be tues/thurs and Friday this week as hubby made pulled pork in the slow cooker over night and his pulled pork is to die for! Xxx

Thanks. I really hope so, especially after the naughty fri, sat and Sunday! Eek! Had a low Monday, and fasted yesterday and now working 6am till 7pm tonight. Planning a low day today and a back to back fast thurs/fri and praying for a sts lol. Xxx

Scales 1/2lb up on official weigh in last week so with last fast today it might be a sts. My 4 up days have been very up so il just plod on. Haha. Still aiming for 9.2 by Xmas xxx
