My target is to get to target in the next 3/4 weeks then I can learn portion sizes from her new smaller stomach lol


Yes - I just want to shift it all fast now to reach target. Then start a healthy eating regime - maybe using recipes from SW or something.
 
Your well ahead I me now Egbert I have 10 to go till target have only managed to stick with it since Christmas for 3 day and add chicken. In aiming for SS today an so far so good.
 
I haven't had weightloss surgery! I think she was just suggesting my diary cos i have all the photos of losing a large amount of weight over the same kind of timescale as post WLS. :)

Yes - sorry for the confusion. :D I meant look at how fast Spangles lost the weight to get a realistic idea of what is reasonable to lose if you are totally well behaved. :D

I was struggling to SS since Christmas so sat and had a long chat with oh and showed him the cd book and I think we have agreed that WE will eat a SS+ meal once he gets in from work. Hubby never ate an evening meal but said he would reduce what he has during the day and eat with me when he gets in. But I have said I will spread my shake out and if I'm not hungry when he gets in I won't have the meal.

Busy weekend out last night to see underworld (loved it in 3D) girls to play this morning, ended up looking at a new spa this afternoon (only went for chlorine) at and birthday party tonight, church in the morning then birthday party in the afternoon. But it's all cold and wet outside and I don't want to go out :-(

Been ok today NO Cambridge products but good small portions and feel loads better, just have to see what the scales say tomorrow. I think cd is to expensive to mess about with so really think SS+ or even step 2 might work better for me, slower but better. Mind you it's slow on SS when I cheat right.

I thought that - CD is to expensive to mess about with the odd packet here and there, so when OH and I came off over xmas, we had normal tins of Heinz soup instead.
 
Ok got in from the party and HAD to stand on the scales to check on damage and only .2 of a lb up from this morning "get in" :)

I think someone broke my scales. Friday I had some chocs and wine. Yesterday inhad half a jacket potatoe with cheese, and a disarano. Today I have gone up 4 lbs. that can't be right. I am assuming its all water, since I made sure to drink a load. Tch

I think someone broke my scales. Friday I had some chocs and wine. Yesterday inhad half a jacket potatoe with cheese, and a disarano. Today I have gone up 4 lbs. that can't be right. I am assuming its all water, since I made sure to drink a load. Tch

I am sure it is retained water. Your drinking will help flush it.

Hope your back down today my week looks like another STS coming my way :-( but can't be down after all the extras I have had (wine, chocolate, sandwiches, sausage rolls, bacon an sausage sandwich)
So this weeks plan is to SS+ If I'm hungry when OH gets in and SS if I'm not, I am going to stop binging once I have eaten something I don't stop and follow one plan or the other depending how I feel.
 
Hey mama - can you help, with your new CDC skills? Just found out that the veg allowance on 810 has gone up (in the new handbook) from "three tablespoons (45g)" as it is in the old book, to 80g. Are there any other changes like that - to any of the steps, as far as you're aware? My CDC doesn't really seem to keep up with new developments (she was only dimly aware of the 'meals in minutes' book, and often gives inaccurate guidance on a whole range of things).

Hey Hun yes the veg allowance has gone up to 80g even on SS+ also weights may have gone up as they have for SS+

excellent - thanks so much. i see they've changed to pre-cooked prawns as well, which is annoying, since they always seem to contain added salt.
 
I know and I have a freezer with about 4 bags of uncooked prawns in but I will be eating those they taste so much better

You should see the original SS+ book from when I was on it before pregnancy, looking at it I don't know how I managed

Oh and the books have an RRP on the back of 1.50 don't let her charge more I know some do (£5 for first app and book)

The first VLCD I did was LL and I did the whole foundation with no cheats! Three items a day -- that's it.
 
That's what I did and felt so in control it's only now I can see the healthy eating diet I want to follow (that I maintain at when I'm on it) that it's become hard. Also we are heading to the BBQ time that I love that I just want this last 10lb off so I can enjoy it without shakes.
 
I do not want to do a VLCD again, as it messes up your leptin levels andmakes it more difficult to maintain your losses (lowers your metabolism by about 15%). So, I am trying to use CD 810/1000 to lose the weight. I was able to do this last year, but then let myself regain most of my losses (just as I did with LL... once I stopped working out I regained).
