MAMA22 diary

So typing that out makes me think if she can manage on that we can do it hun

No kidding -- but I have at least six friends who have done this and been very successful at it. I am sure there are more -- it is just that many of them had the op before I met them. I have had two friend go through op whilst they were around me (my community moves around a lot).

Have cleaned everything only my ironing mountain to do just on second shake and plan on doing some cardio again tonight, 3 night in a row. I'm always the same once I get started I want to train everyday hubby has to make me take rest days. Aiming for half an hour tonight still can't bring myself to use his treadmill, he isn't allowed to run anymore thanks to fracturing his knee last Christmas and with his army history he now need 2 new knees but as he's only 35 he has to wait. Keeps telling me he will join me once we have the girlies in bed but I know he won't just walk on it.

Odd I have to go and buy baby food again but for my sister, that was a strange conversation also took the pi55 at her doing the WLS and baby food diet in one. Shouldn't make her giggle it hurts lol

yeuch - your poor sister is on baby food?! That stuff is not nice!

Your sister is lucky to have you.

Sorry about your DH's knees.

I tackled my ironing mountain today -- but have loads of chores left (errands too).

My AF class got cancelled -- so, I will try to do one in the morning, then hit the errands, then the chores.

Fingers crossed she comes home tomorrow, I called her tonight and she was crying in pain as they wouldn't give her morphine with them discharging her tomorrow.

Hopefully my sister is allowed home today. Lots of messages and a couple of calls last night as she was in so much pain she was just crying down the phone :-( hope she feels better this morning and they got control of her pain relief.

To the supermarket this morning

Your poor sister -- couldn't they give her something? I guess they did and it was not enough. I had never heard that it was painful, but that makes sense. I hope she recovers soon.

Be careful -- our roads are dreadful atm.

I hope you have a good weekend.

Shopping done, my dad is doing the hour long drive to collect her they gave her codeine and paracetamol but was not helping so she is now on something stronger. She also managed a small amount of fruit smoothie this morning.

That sounds promising (being able to get a little Smoothie in). I'll bet you're glad you got the shopping done early, Friday nights are a nightmare at the food shops.

I have finished testing out my steam press (bought on ebay) to do DH's trousers and attempt a few shirts (DS's as he is not picky). Trousers were okay, shirts were tricky. Now to finish up with the ironing and laundry, then clean the downstairs loo and run an errand or two and get myself to aquafit. Wish me luck... running short on time. *sigh*

Hey Mama

Hows things today? Whats your MFP log on, Ill see if I can find you.

Unfortunately my daughter forced me to buy her CAdburys mini rolls and they are just sitting int he kitchen calling me :(

Steam presses look like they are great but I bet they can be a pain. A friend of mine had one but I alway seem to catch her with the normal iron out.

Evening M22,

Hey Mama

Hows things today? Whats your MFP log on, Ill see if I can find you.

Unfortunately my daughter forced me to buy her CAdburys mini rolls and they are just sitting int he kitchen calling me :(

Forced you? WOW! My DD is taller than I am now (she'll be 13 next week), but I still have about 50 pounds on her! ;)

It did a nice job on the trousers and I was able to do most of shirt, but you'd need the board and iron to do the shoulder areas and touch up. (Not really worth it if you have a steam generator iron that is almost as fast as press... maybe faster as I seem to have to fuss about a bit with the press.)

Mel, my daughter just nows how to manipulate me, what can I say. She is a mini me and she is 5.

I am weak:(

I want a steam iron - I hear such good things about them.

Hows your sister today Mama, all good?

She's ok struggling with one of her pain killers 6+ calpol as its to sweet and making her feel sick.

I had a full day SS and...,..... Down 3.4 lb in one day omg

Been a good girl again so not weighing in the morning lets wait till Tuesday (I did go up on Thursday A LOT)

Baby porridge was a hit lol and after the sweet smoothies and only chicken broth was something with no taste (who said that would be good????)
Monday is the day I have said we move on to thicker stuff we should be at custard thickness but sister is still very nervous as 1 inch of water and she's full. They said the outlet from the stomach will not stretch so anything she has fills her.

Me on the other hand have had my normal reaction to chocolate and have about 10 users omg pain no eating for me :-(
