Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Awww hun big hugs, it is hard when you are shopping to resist naughty things. you can have a treat once in a while tho, it wouldnt be much fun if you couldnt.
I have lovely memories of making mince pies with my mum too, and her pineapple upside down cake was to die for!
 
The problem I have is that I make my own mincemeat with brandy and Marsala :( it's just so yummy :(

Have that prob with my Xmas cake.. I soak the fruit in rum, cherry brandy, amaretto. Thats about 2kg fruit in 1.5l for 4-5 days :). Mmmmm
 
I soak the fruit in tea first for s couple of days the add the alcohol and sugar in a lick and lock container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks . Keep turning it over so the juices soak everything . Then use it.

That's ok when I come visit my grandma between Xmas - new year, she lives in methingham.. I will have figured out how to reduce the fat content! Can't do anything about the dried fruit and spirits..
 
I am still craving mince pies.. But was strong and said No.. Instead had some frozen yogurt.. And more water!!
 
Just made pancakes for breakfast.. Haven't eaten any... Not even a taste :0)
Each pancake is 100cals.. Can find better things to eat!
 
Did 3 hours of ironing today.. Mfp says I burned 675 cals.., wow!

Crap day today.. 2 birthday BBQs lunch and a dinner one.. Did ok with lunch.. Dinner one was sitting next to the toffee popcorn and my hand helped me eat most of the bowl while talking in depth to some one!!! Feel silly about that..

WI today.. As expected a STS due to my crap week last week!!

Just tried a cup of soup from tesco light choices range.. Not to bad.. Just not really satisfying.. Only 65 cals
 
Whereas I've just had a very satisfying bowl of homemade soup for less calories :)
