Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

They do look good but a bit thick for me. I did find a different spirelli thing on amazon that was oy a bit more expensive than the black one but also did thin strips and something else as well. That I now can't remember. Looked good though

I used the thick end this time, I will use the thinner end next time :)

Am actually finding it easier to say NO to rice - made some for dinner and apart from a wee bit to check it was cooked, had none, the smell normally makes me feel like eating it - did nothing for me tonight - am pleased I don't feel like eating it, makes it easier to avoid.

Made myself drink just over a litre more water before bed, as think I'm not drinking enough, during the day. When its cold, and I'm cold I often don't feel like drinking much water.

Yes one long long long string unless you cut them :) or break them when doing them.

I put in microwave for 2 mins and then in the pan with some black pepper, garlic and touch of almond oil. Yummy :)

Going to stop taking the xenical tablets as I don't think my eating plan is low enough in fat, it's more good fats, and mod carbs - most of the time. :)

I think the tablets have helped with removing the bad choices I used to make regarding high fat, high sugar/ high carb biscuits and cakes. I am also using less fatty cuts of meat, and using less oil/ butter when cooking - and the tablets got me thinking about the choices I make.

For me I think I am best continuing without the tablets, I used them for the last mth. I now feel confident that my eating plan choices are better and I want to try doing this without them.

I hope you all don't mind me staying here even tho I'm no longer taking the tablets. Plus my eating plan is more lower carb and good fats than just low fat.

Sometimes at the moment I'm not really hungry at lunch time, but know if I don't eat then I get too hungry later..
BUT.. Deciding what to eat when I would normally have had a sandwich in the past, is sometimes hard;

If I prepare a cooked lunch like chickpea curry, or HD veg and bean stew its ok, but sometimes I get a bit stuck when I don't feel like cooking
- today I had prunes, plain yogurt, Tbsp Linwoods ground flax, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, a couple of handfuls lizi's granola and some toasted flaked almonds, was tasty and my tummy is happy - but my head is still stuck at "sandwich" lol

I've made some great crackers from Anthony worrel thompsins low GL book. They're yummy and very more ish. I also made my own peanut butter and I've been having those for lunches
